About: I’ve loved and been around animals since childhood. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs. As an adult, I now have 2 cats of my own. I’m very passionate about human-animal connection. I am currently a graduate student taking night classes two days a week. This is something I’m hoping to fill my spare time with :) I view and treat animals with the same respect as I do people. About: I've been walking dogs of all sizes for about 7 years now in different ways and I have to say I've never met I dog I haven't become immediate best friends with. I love to take the dogs on their favorite trails, and play if they still have energy after. They will always have water provided and a treat at the end of each visit, with lots of pets and snuggles in between. With my previous experience I feel comfortable with any size dog, and can handle different behaviors as well. Though every visit can seem repetitive, if something unexpected occurs I know the best routes to handle any situation that may come up. She is thoughtful and will grab a package left on the porch, handles alarm systems and multiple locks with ease, and takes note of anything that seems amiss in the house. I was so grateful to have Savannah take care of my two young boy cats while I was away recently. There was a fight between the two of them and she handled it so well and with ease, separated them and was really mindful about caring for and monitoring them. Deeann showed up promptly for our initial meet-and-greet, showed a great deal of respect for our home and cats, asked excellent and on-point questions and took notes for the care of our cats. She communicated promptly, and is very nice. She showed up right on time for our first scheduled visit, only to discover I had left the wrong key! She worked wit me to try to find a solution but none was forthcoming. Unfortunately I had to cut my trip short and return.
