“Murphy LOVES Callie. She is efficient, reliable and knowledgeable. Most of all, you can tell she genuinely loves my pup. Callie is an important piece of my doggie daycare solution, and I couldn't be more grateful for her.”

“Heaven was the best thing that ever happened to Emma! She took incredible care of my dog, treated her like she would her own pet. Emma and I are going to miss Heaven!!”

About: I have been house and dog sitting since I was 18 years old and absolutely love it. It started with my neighbors dog that was like my own and took off from there. I have experience with puppies, distributing medication, and even 3 legged dogs! I have experience with house sitting for extended periods of time and having the opportunity to love on and take care of dogs during that time. I am a school teacher. I am available and flexible for walks, playtime, or house sitting most weekends and I am available for late afternoon/evening walks during the week. I am active and love to take dogs out for walks or to socialize. I understand that your dogs are apart of your family and I plan to treat them like my own. I take pride in getting the privilege to love and care for your fur babies.

“Kyler was great with our dogs again!”

“Emma was very prompt and friendly. She met up with me and my pup before the initial walk. Emma sent updates and pictures and put my mind at ease while at work. Will be using her again!”

About: I love animals, especially dogs, more than words can express! We have always had small dogs in our family since I was born. I could never imagine living without a dog in my household. In fact I have always had my miniature schnauzers as my fur babies since my early 20’s. I also use my endless dog walks as another form of exercise especially with the awesome beach roads all over the island that we are fortunate to enjoy living on the island. Since I never had children I have extremely spoiled animals. Me and my husband are retired and I work a very part time job so have a lot of flexibility with my schedule. My husband may also like to join in with my walks as well to help keep your pooch entertained and continue with our daily exercise regimen. If your pet does not do well on long walks please mention that so we don’t wear them out too much! I would like to walk your dog on the beach or beach access if allowed. If you would rather we stay on the neighborhood streets that’s fine too! My house/pet sitting service will include feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up pet waste in yard or litter box and light housekeeping such as vacuuming up pet fur if applicable. I have a very flexible schedule. I do work a few days a week part time but only 4-5 hr shifts at a time. I would love to be your pet’s next best friend! I am an extremely anal retentive pet owner and home owner. I probably take better care of my pets than my own self! We do not miss any yearly vet appointments and are very attentive to any ailments that may come along. I always say the worst part of being a pet owner is when they have to cross the rainbow bridge.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. Growing up surrounded by pets has taught me how to understand their unique needs, whether it’s providing gentle care for senior dogs or keeping up with the energy and training needs of puppies. I just graduated college so right now I have completely open availability! I’m available during both weekdays and weekends to care for pets, including boarding. This flexible schedule lets me give animals the time, attention, and love they deserve every day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, needs, and schedule, whether that’s feeding, playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I also give regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away!

“We were very happy with Mia’s walk, it was nice to have an evening out and not worry about our dog.”

About: For 30+ years, I shared my life with dogs, from wiggly puppies to gray‑muzzled seniors. My last two companions crossed the rainbow bridge only weeks apart after 15 wonderful years, caring for them through their golden years, which honed my skills with daily medication, injections, and gentle mobility support. I’m also a certified therapy‑dog handler. Together, Franco and I made rounds at retirement homes and hospice centers with a national organization called K9 Buddies. Whether it’s redirecting anxious energy, reinforcing good manners, or offering a soothing lap for snuggles, I tailor my approach to each dog’s unique quirks. Friends jokingly call me “the dog whisperer” because dogs gravitate to me for lots of hugs. From basic obedience refreshers to specialized medical routines, your pet will get knowledgeable, compassionate care as if they were my own. I am self-employed, have ample time to fit potty schedules, and ensure your dog is well cared for when you cannot be home. If desired, overnights and long-term care is a possibility. Your pets care will depend on your desires and their personality. I am happy to discuss specific needs, from medication to play and training. My goal is to allow you to leave your dog home with peace of mind, knowing you do not have to double-check or worry.

About: I ran a dog-watching business in Southern Maryland for 7 years, caring for pups of all ages—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. I’m experienced with feeding routines, medication, and making even the shyest dogs feel safe and loved. My years of hands-on experience set me apart, and I truly treat every dog like family. I have an 8 year old pug myself❤️ I’m currently working part-time as a server in Morehead City while I wait to start my 9–5 this fall. My shifts are short—usually no more than 4.5 hours—and I’m not getting scheduled as much as I’d like. That means I have plenty of free time and flexibility to dedicate to pet care, and I’m excited to spend it with some furry friends! I provide pet care exclusively in the client’s home, ensuring pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize safety by following all care instructions closely, keeping a watchful eye on pets, and maintaining a calm, clean space. I’m committed to building trust with both pets and owners through reliable, respectful, and attentive care.

About: Hi, I'm Lauren! I have done pet sitting and dog walking for my neighbors and friends since I was 10 years old, including high energy puppies and an elderly, blind dog in particular. I'm currently home from college for the summer and would love to take care of your pups! I have a big family so someone is always available to take your pet on walks or have playtime. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals on weekdays and weekends. Plus, there is always a family member at home so your pets will never be left alone. I have one friendly labrador in the home who sleeps in her crate at night. I can easily crate your dog as well if needed. We do not have a fenced in yard, however, our home is in a perfect location for long walks away from traffic and games of tug in the yard.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since 2005, I was once the go to pet sitter for multiple dogs, cats and even birds when I was working at the Neuse golf club in Clayton, nc. Was trusted to stay in the houses of each of the pets that I looked after. I now own my own dog and cat but would be happy to have another dog in our house for short term. I am currently free any day of the week, I got burned out from work and taking some time to figure out what I want to do for a career. Since I am not currently working, I am the main provider for feeding our cat and dog, walking our dog and just making sure they are happy

“Thank you so much for making their day!”
