I am tuned into dog and cat body language, knowing exactly when to give space and when to offer comfort. I don’t force interaction or push boundaries. Yet, I won’t hesitate to get down on the floor, to play, cuddle, and love just like I do with my own furry family. When you call on me, you’re not leaving your precious baby with a stranger - you’re entrusting them to someone who truly believes they are family, deserving of all the love and care in the world. I work remotely which means I have flexibility throughout the day to stay with your pet. My house sitting service can be equated to daycare in your home, I’m happy to stay with your pet(s) throughout the day as long as you have good WiFi. I arrive as early as 8am and leave for the day at 10pm, with a couple hours away during lunch and in the afternoon. I do not leave animals alone for more than 4 hours at a time (except overnight). Important note, I am not able to stay at your home overnight. I believe parents make the rules! I am flexible to your requests and will follow your lead because you know what works best for your pets.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since 5 years old. Grooming, walking, cleaning up after them and loving them. I have added birds, ferrets, and turtles to my pets in my adulthood. I foster neonatal kittens. I have trained many dogs and have shown them in obedience. I have had elderly dogs and cats and have helped them through their needs in old age. I love to throw the ball for your dog, play with cats or just sit and pet them, make sure they have their food on time and always have water. I can walk you dog around the block or for 5 miles. I am very experienced in reactive dogs and walking them. I have had large and small dogs. My last two dogs were Dobermans. I will be reliable and follow your instructions. I am a retired Occupational Therapist and have recently lost my sweet friend and companion, my dog Scarlet. I have time now to help others out who need someone to provide love and care to their pet. I am looking to care for your pet in your home. I may, be able to take a cat or dog into my home sometimes, but I have chickens in my backyard so it is not available. At your home I can stay overnight if necessary or just come and care for your pet in the comfort they are used to. About: I've grown up around dogs my entire life. As a child I volunteered to foster dogs until they were adopted. I've known and cared for dogs throughout their lifecycle, and I understand dog pack dynamics. So whether your pup is young and needs a good run or they're older and enjoy a slow walk & sniff, or anything in between, I'm confident I can safely care for them. About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

Rufus was very pleased with Sophia and requested her as his executive assistant next time I'm out of town. Sophia sent me photos and videos every day. And Rufus was cared for both physically and emotionally. Please note that Rufus is a special needs cat and that Sophia was required to give him medication as well as food and water.
Leo is an excellent pet sitter. We asked him to watch our two kitties (and some backyard strays) over a holiday while we were out of town. It was a last-minute request, and we are so thankful that Leo was available! Leo was very responsive throughout the whole booking process. When he came over for a meet-and-greet, he was attentive, perceptive, and inquisitive. It was clear that he really loves animals. While we were gone, Leo stopped by every day to tend to our girls' needs, and he made sure to spend time playing with both of them. He even got our shy girl, Cashew, to come out and play every day, which is very special. Leo kept us up to date while we were gone and sent us several pictures and videos to let us know the girls were doing well. We highly recommend Leo for your pet-sitting needs, and we will be calling on him in the future!
