About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since 5 years old. Grooming, walking, cleaning up after them and loving them. I have added birds, ferrets, and turtles to my pets in my adulthood. I foster neonatal kittens. I have trained many dogs and have shown them in obedience. I have had elderly dogs and cats and have helped them through their needs in old age. I love to throw the ball for your dog, play with cats or just sit and pet them, make sure they have their food on time and always have water. I can walk you dog around the block or for 5 miles. I am very experienced in reactive dogs and walking them. I have had large and small dogs. My last two dogs were Dobermans. I will be reliable and follow your instructions. I am a retired Occupational Therapist and have recently lost my sweet friend and companion, my dog Scarlet. I have time now to help others out who need someone to provide love and care to their pet. I am looking to care for your pet in your home. I may, be able to take a cat or dog into my home sometimes, but I have chickens in my backyard so it is not available. At your home I can stay overnight if necessary or just come and care for your pet in the comfort they are used to. About: I've been around animals my entire life and grew up with both dogs and cats as part of the family. My current dog, Harley (pictured in my profile photo), has given me firsthand experience with specialty diets, medications, and the extra attention some pets need to thrive. When I was younger, I ran my own dog-walking business, caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I've also cared for cats during recovery from procedures such as spaying and neutering, ensuring they stayed comfortable and received the attention they needed. Whether it's a playful puppy, a senior pet, or a shy cat, I enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care and give pet owners peace of mind while they're away. I am home for the summer with open availability most days, making it easy for me to accommodate flexible scheduling and last-minute requests when needed. I strive to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client and their pet, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for while you are away. I value open communication so we are always aligned on expectations and responsibilities. On a personal level, I treat every home with the utmost respect and care, only using designated spaces and supplies as instructed. I approach each booking with the same level of care and attentiveness I would want for my own home and pets.
