“Tawnia is great! She’s so patient with my pups, esp since one likes to pull and the other has been defensive of our home. But Tawnia does so well with both pups and we love having her for walks!”

“Thank you Adrienna! Marley was happy when I got home.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and i’ve had many different breeds. I was the neighborhood dog walker when I was in middle school. I am working a part time job and I am in school but I am able to walk your dog every 3-4 hours during the week I have a fenced in yard for my dog and usually let him outside every hour or so. I also feed him dry food in the morning and wet and dry food at night

“Cristina took good care of our girl when I had to travel last minute. She was prompt, great communication, and we really appreciated having her help!”

“Sierra helped us out last minute, and even squeezed in a meet and greet! She was very kind and our aloof pup snuggled right up to her. Will definitely rebook!”

About: I’ve taken care of friends, family and neighbors dogs since I was 11. I love all dogs of all ages and have 2 large dogs of my own. I’m currently finishing up my masters degree and won’t be working all summer so I’ll have lots of availability for walks and drop ins as needed. I have two very friendly dogs but have dog gates and crates space is ever needed or for when I may have to leave home.

“Candace is great to work with. I reached out for dog walking my two rescues. They have some quirks and she manages them well. I’m happy she’s available when I need her. I will use her service again.”

About: I am an animal-crazy adult Vet Tech student who's been inspired by my 10-year journey with a traumatized, reactive rescue pup who recently passed. I grew up with dogs and cats and rabbits, and adopted a rescued cat while in college who was with me for 13 years, but it was my experience with a traumatized rescue-pup later in life that led me to recently return to school to become a Vet Tech. I initially worked with two private trainers and began studying trauma response in dogs and cats, practicing skills to reduce fear and build trust with special needs pets. I am a registered volunteer with the city and have several repeat/current clients. I make a point of getting to know the personality of each individual in my care, and adapt my energy and/or activities to get as close to their level and needs as possible. I provide care in the comfort of your pet's own home and am available for any activities your pet enjoys. We can walk around your neighborhood, play with enrichment toys, go for a car ride, you name it! I am also happy to just sit with your pet in the same space. My goal is to keep things as close to your pet's normal as possible when they are in my care. When I care for pets in their home and neighborhood, I stay as close to their normal as possible and keep a regular routine they can rely on and trust. I am a guest caretaker in their safe space and always work to respect and honor it as such.

“Elliot is absolutely incredible! I have 4 dogs, and they run the gamut: Husky/Belgian Malinois, Great Pyrenees/Lab, Boxer/Pittie, and Frenchie ranging from 13 years to 5 months. Elliot is brilliant with each one of them - able to recognize their needs and accommodate those needs, even as they change day to day. You will not regret hiring Elliot!”

“Natalie is super reliable and always treats my fur babies well. She is very punctual and has excellent communication when booking services. I have rebooked with her multiple times!”

About: Hi! I'm an all-around animal person! I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with extensive experience caring for animals of all types! I'm new to using Rover, but I've been a pet sitter for over 15 years. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is happy and safe while you are away! I love working with all animals, but I'm especially good with helping shy-er, more cautious animals gain confidence. I'm also great with senior or special needs pets who require a little extra care and assistance, and with higher energy pets who may need some help self-regulating their excitement or anxiety. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets. Currently, I have 2 parrots. Professionally, I've worked at accredited zoos in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana, as well as a wolf sanctuary in New Mexico, so I also have experience working with and caring for exotic animals like birds and reptiles. As you can see, animals are my passion! My schedule is flexible, so I'm able to give your pet all the attention they could want! I'm available for overnight sitting, drop-in visits throughout the day, and walks. I have years of experience pet sitting and am happy to provide references. I have reliable transportation, so I'm able to travel all over the Albuquerque area.

“Really appreciated Lauren's help with taking care of the dogs when I couldn't. They got in some great walks and I got some great photos out of it as well. I highly recommend her if you need a sitter or a walker!”

“Ella was gentle and attentive with my tripod dog. He had a great walk with her, returned relaxed and happy, and he loved her tasty treats!”

“I hate to brag, but my dogs are just crazy about James. They now hear his truck pull up at the house and they start going nuts. They know they are going for a walk. And we have had other people come before, never the reaction they have with James. We are relieved to find him, not just when we go on vacations, but just when the dogs need to burn off some extra energy. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve had two dogs of my own and miss their companionship dearly. I’m comfortable with playing with your dog, snuggling them, taking them on walks, feeding and picking up after them, and anything that would make them happy! I am between school and an internship currently so I have an open schedule! I am available most days to visit, dog walk, and care for your pets in home. I focus on enrichment with my cats, rotating out their toys and coming up with creative ways to keep them happy and healthy. I am also big on sticking to a feeding schedule so that my pets know what to expect each day.
