“Cristina was amazing at taking care of my void! She made sure to visit everyday as requested and was very communicative with me regarding my cat. My little scaredy-cat even felt comfortable with her from what I can tell in her pictures, still hiding but eating near her. My cat was also his normal self when I got home, a good sign that she treated him well! When I cam home I was also pleasantly surprised that the cat bowls she used were hand washed and left to dry, and that my trash was taken out, leaving less things for me to worry about when I cam home from my trip.”

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. At your home I can stay overnight if necessary or just come and care for your pet in the comfort they are used to.
