About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have over 15 years of experience in pet care with dogs, cats, reptiles, small animals, and birds. I currently have a dog and cats of my own to help keep your pet company during their stay (for this reason, pets looking to stay with me must be non-aggressive towards cats and other dogs). I offer drop-ins, walks, and boarding services. During their stay, your pup will get daily exercise and activity (depending on their individual needs) through walks, off-leash play in a secure yard, and mentally stimulating games/puzzles. I can take your pet out for the bathroom as often as every three hours, which can be an ideal situation for senior pups or those with medical conditions! If your pet must be left alone during any period of time (such as during feedings), it will be done so in an appropriately-sized crate, and so it is ideal for your pet to be crate-trained. When they aren't playing, your pet will likely be hanging out indoors with me, either lounging around or people-watching out the windows or in a sun-patch on the porch while getting lots and lots of pets. For cats, I offer a deluxe kitty room with a play tunnel, cat tree, high shelves for jumping/climbing, many soft blankets, a variety of toys, a running fountain water bowl, and an abundance of dark hiding places to help them feel comfortable. I am available all day to ensure your pet's needs are met. Dogs can be let out as often as every three hours and cats can be checked on and played with as often as their individual personalities require. I have a fenced-in yard for your pup to play in, as well as cats and a dog of my own to keep them company. Indoors they have plenty of space as well to play, people-watch out the window, and snooze.

My children are grown ups and out of the house on their own. My home is empty with just me and my elderly mother. I still love to have my freedom but would love to take on sitting your pet in my home or your home. I also work from home M-F, so your pet will have me with them for a majority of the time I’m caring for them. Eliza did a great job taking care of my dog while I was taking a day trip in Providence. Her communication was excellent and I appreciated her flexibility around the dropoff, since I was traveling from out of town. My dog was happy at both the dropoff and pickup - that's what we like to see!
Pillie has been absolutely amazing with our puppy, Mati. She sends us so many photo and video updates so that we know our dog is in good hands. Mati snapped the retractable leash we had for her and Pillie generously gave us a spare of her own. She is always caring and understanding that Mati is a bit of a nervous wreck at drop-off.
Tammy is incredible as always. Understanding and was willing to accommodate for a last minute change in my plans. She takes such good care of Obi and he really enjoys spending time with her! Where he's nervous to go with some people he ran right inside tail wagging.
From the moment I pulled up, I had a great feeling about leaving Caroline with Matthew. He was outside playing with his pup and the strong bond they have was obvious. While watching Caroline, Matthew sent great photos and was very communicative. Would 100% recommend for doggy daycare!

Ashley did a fantastic job of entertaining my pup for the day while we couldn’t! She made sure he got fed properly, had plenty of time to play outside/walk with her dogs, and gave all the affection he needed. She even taught him how to do paw! Connie took really good care of my dog for the day. He wasn’t acting right (barking and whining constantly), so Connie took him on long walks and communicated VERY well. She tried my suggestions but they didn’t help. This was the first time he has been like this and I couldn’t have asked for a sitter to handle this any better than Connie did.
