About: I’ve had dog, cats, reptiles, and fish pretty much all my life. I love meeting, playing, and taking care of animals. I live to see them happy and comfortable. I tend to get along with animals very well! I have multiple animals that I help take care of daily. They are like my siblings and I love them dearly. I am my family’s pet sitter and would like to expand. I much rather keep the animal(s) in their own home to be the most comfortable. I like to build trust with any animal I come to care for like it is my own.

“Natalie was great with our golden retriever puppy Cooper! She provided a lot of updates and pictures of her visit and enjoyed seeing him everyday. Would recommend Natalie to anyone!!”

About: New to Rover, but I started dog-sitting in college. I've taken care of blind senior dogs, puppies, adult dogs, not to mention guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, turtles...the list goes on!! I work from home until September, so I can take my laptop anywhere. I can be a constant presence during boarding or drop in frequently... your choice! I treat my pets like they're my kids, so your pets would be like my nieces and nephews...lots of fun but I'll give 'em back!!

“Adam was great with our dog and cat. He made sure to get all the important details on our pets care and made sure they had everything they needed. Our pets were well taken care of while we were gone. Would recommend and plan to use Adam in the future!”

“Dani was fantastic! She even stopped in extra because my dogs were being a bit more needy than I anticipated! She kept me up to date with pictures and comments so I knew what was going on and we could make decisions together! She truly made it like my animals were her babies as well! 100% recommended!”

About: My family has had at least one dog in our house since I was born. Everybody in my family has dogs. I have a few family members that rely on me to help them with their dogs when they need it. Everyone in my family treats their pets like they are humans and I do just the same! I am currently in between jobs so I’m available pretty much whenever. I do have my own dog at home so I prefer to not stay somewhere for a long, extended period of time. I am pretty flexible with that though so just ask me and I’ll let you know if it’s doable! I have a fenced in yard. I have a 14 year old rescue that just mainly stays to herself. There is a 1 year old Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix now living here as well, under the care of someone else that’s not me, however she is very rambunctious with other dogs. I do not mind walking them around the neighborhood. In my family, we treat our dogs like they are humans and they are like our children!

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to take care of your fur baby! I love animals and have had them all my life. I grew up on a small farm with everything from cats and dogs to goats, chickens, and llamas. At the moment I currently have a senior cat named Jackson who’s living his best indoor/outdoor kitty life. In addition to being an animal lover, I am also a board certified general surgeon! I am comfortable with administering medication and injections if needed. Whether it be going for a walk or stop being by for some chin scratches, I’m your girl! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s). I currently work full-time so unfortunately and unable to offer weekday boarding. However, I am available for drop in visits and walking services throughout the week. For clients with an enclosed yard, I am happy to go outside to help your pet stretch their legs and play. Otherwise pets will be kept on a leash at all times while on walks.

About: My family got our first dog when I was 9 years old. Since then, I don't think I've ever not had pets in my life. I've had dogs, cats, and bearded dragons. I come from a long line of animal lovers, and I consider my pets to be part of the family - so they live good and happy lives. I've also had family and friends rely on me many times to take care of their pets while they were out of town. I'm a teacher, so come the summer (when everyone goes on vacation), my days are wide open! During the school year, weekends are the best bet for house-sitting, but I've got more flexibility for dog walking etc. First step is building trust. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable around me, and part of that is gauging how they behave around me. If they want love and attention, I'm more than happy to give it! If they need more time and distance, that's okay too. I'm someone who wants to make sure that you AND your pet are happy, so whatever you need me to do is what I'll do. Lots of play? Can do! Frequent walks or bathroom breaks? Not a problem! Just hang out so they're not alone? Absolutely. And I want you to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, so I'm always happy to send check-in pictures if desired.

About: I’ve had cats for 37 years and currently care for two—both independent, with very different personalities. My dog Walter, a playful and well-mannered Shepherd-Pit mix, is my first dog of my own, but I’ve helped care for dogs through friends, family, and past relationships for years. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and know how to create a calm, reassuring environment for pets of all kinds. Whether I’m caring for a curious kitten, a senior cat, a high-energy dog, or a more reserved pup, I adjust to their pace and preferences. I’m observant, reliable, and always make your pet’s comfort and routine my top priority. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available most evenings for drop-ins and walks, and I offer full availability on weekends for boarding or extended care. Whether your pet needs a quick evening check-in or a cozy place to stay over the weekend, I’m happy to provide consistent, loving care that fits your schedule. Pet care is a meaningful part of my life outside of work, and I treat every visit with attention and heart. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my priority. I have a fully fenced yard and a peaceful home shared with a well-mannered dog, two independent cats, and my 10-year-old son—who absolutely loves animals and is gentle, respectful, and supervised at all times. I can provide crate accommodations if needed and follow your pet’s routine closely. Whether your pet prefers quiet spaces or enjoys friendly company, I offer a secure, low-stress environment with lots of attention, structure, and love. You'll also receive regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you're away.

“Rachel was excellent in communication both in content and timeliness. She gave us comprehensive updates on our cat and we were well assured of how she was doing. We would book her again in a heartbeat!”

“She’s just awesome!!! She’s on time and professional. Gives great feedback on each visit giving us ease of mind. I will continue using Liz to take care of my fur babies.”

About: I have pet sat cats and dogs of all different ages. I have 4 cats of my own with one that takes daily medication and another that is a kitten. I have fostered cats and assisted in senior pet care (dogs and cats). I also trained 2 of my cats and when we had dogs, I also trained them. I am very experienced with administering medication and caring for pets of different ages! Three of my cats are fed twice a day, and my elderly cat gets 4 small meals. I work from home so am able to give my cats plenty of attention. I am fairly flexible with my routine and can easily check in on your pet(s) and walk them 2-3 times a day except on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those days I have to be physically at my job so I can only check on your pet(s) in the mornings before 11am and afternoons after 4pm. My own cats receive a balanced diet of wet and dry food with high-quality omega-3 oil and collagen added to it. My cats are treated as equal family members and have a wide range of enrichment within our house: cat trees, toys, a screened in porch, and forage puzzles. Our elderly cat is on daily medication and is showered with compliments (she is a queen and she knows it!) . I spend time every day playing with all of my cats and snuggling them as much as they like. I am incredibly gentle with animals and respect their space. I try my best to maintain a clean, stress-free environment at home and in the homes I pet sit for. I know how stressful it can be for a pet to meet someone new, so I always move at their speed and respect their comfort. Your pet's safety and trust are a top priority, and I will treat them with the care I give my own cats.

About: I’ve owned many pets over the course of my life and taken care of them well after extensive research. Additionally, I have worked at pet stores, I volunteer with an animal rescue every week and I’m studying to become a veterinarian. I’m a full time student at UNO, however, the majority of my classes are online so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m able to stop by anytime that I’m not in class. I will feed and water animals, clean up after them (including litter boxes) and have a friendly high energy dog I can bring along to wear out others.

Elmwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so fortunate to have been able to meet Natalie and have her watch our dog while out of town. From the very initial meet and greet, I knew this was going to be a great experience. She has kept in communication through the duration of her visits which is amazing for my peace of mind. She has made this such an easy transaction for North and myself. I will absolutely use her in the near future!

I hired Jackie to come to my apartment once a week and check on my two beta fish tanks and my tarantula. I was so relieved that she took the job because a lot of people are too intimidated by spiders to accept. She went above and beyond taking care of my fish and my spider, going so far as to troubleshoot my filters and test my tank water. She is extremely knowledgeable about fish and spent a lot of time making sure they were OK. This is so much more than I expected and I felt so confident leaving my pets in her care. She was Amazing with my tarantula and even offered to go to the store and get more crickets for her when she ran out. She sent me pictures and asked questions when she wasn’t sure how to proceed with her and I was really relieved to know that all of my pets were getting a lot of attention and care. It was very obvious that Jackie really cared about doing a good job of taking care of my pets. She is very detailed with her check-in visits and always takes pictures. she is extremely capable and responsible and I felt very safe giving her my keys and access to my house. I would hire Jackie again in a second and if you are looking for a sign to hire her, this is definitely it! Wish I could give her 100 stars.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Hannah! She came through for me at the very last minute and completely saved the day. From the moment we connected, she was incredibly communicative, kind, and caring. She kept me updated the whole time even while overseas and I could tell she genuinely cared for my cat like her own. I truly appreciate her and will definitely be reaching out again in the future. Highly, highly recommend!!
