“Earlier this week, I found myself in the position of finding overnight care for my dog Cookie at the very last minute. I will never send him to a kennel since he does not do well with a lot of other dogs and I did not want him lost amidst a sea of yapping or feeling confined. I needed someone with a big, secure, natural back yard to enjoy when not on walks; someone with only one or two personal pets who would not take in others during Cookie’s stay; and someone active, engaged and loving with my special guy. I found that person in Christina. Christina is brand new to the platform, which I actually liked since I suspected she would go over and beyond what was required as she builds her reputation. Her narrative and the testimonials sounded authentic, and her photos showed obvious joy with dogs and cats. And she was available on short notice. I asked if we could do a live video “walk-around” her house, and mainly her yard, on WhatsApp, which I do not believe most people would have agreed to, but she did so readily. This is what I saw, heard and learned: 1) The yard is huge, secure, beautiful and interesting; 2) Her rapport with her own bichon was kind, gentle and fun (I learned she had three bichons for many years but two passed and I think Rover is partly to help fill that void); 3) She walks in Pennypack Park morning, noon and night so when Cookie was not enjoying the yard, he’d be enjoying new sights and sounds elsewhere with his new bichon buddy; 4) Cookie would not be caged ever, and no other dogs would be accepted for boarding while he was there. I had to change the drop off and pickup times at the last minute, which was not a problem at all. Drop-off was easy and communication consistent and remained on WhatsApp throughout the stay. I picked Cookie up a little while ago and I knew I had made the right choice for my guy. Cookie will be back at Christina’s without a question, though hopefully not at the last minute again. Five out of five!!!”

Only one dog is in care at any given time unless dogs are from the same household and are friendly with each other. There will never be more than two dogs on the premises simultaneously. I’d be delighted to have your pet join our happy home and enjoy a fun mini vacation of their own. I treat each pet as if they were my own. In my pet centered home, I provide loving care and supervision at all times. I remain on the property for the duration of your pet’s stay. Dogs are always on leash when outdoors. Doors are always secured. Dogs are secured in vehicle if transported (leash with seat belt or in secured carrier. Cats are in secured carrier if transported. Since I have 2 cats, pets are compartmentalized in my home , if needed. At pet parent’s request, oral/topical medication may be given if I feel comfortable administering.

I really worried that we wouldn't find someone who could handle her blend of behaviors. Hoda was a great listener and brought a level of calm and patience that were just right to soothe Lily's anxiety and win her trust and loyalty. We were able to really enjoy and relax over our vacation thanks to the confidence we had in Hoda. She brings great experience and a warm connection that is just what we needed. Gabriela is one of Barkley’s favorite sitters. She loves the whole family and gets so excited when I drop her off. It’s a great comfort when someone loves your dog as much as you do. I never worry when Barkley is there. I’ve already scheduled more time with her because of that.
Lizzy took wonderful care of my dog over a weekend at her house, and I would definitely send my pup to Lizzy’s again for a stay! My dog has anxiety and takes daily medication, and Lizzy had no issues providing her care. Lizzy was very communicative providing updates and answering questions with quick responses. Ilana was absolutely wonderful. I get nervous leaving my dog with new people, but she is so caring and well-informed. From the first meet and greet, I could tell Ilana was extremely invested and knowledgeable about pet sitting. She asked insightful questions that helped me fill out my dog's care plan more carefully. During the visit, I received tons of pictures and updates. My dog doesn't always like to go on walks, but Ilana kept me in the loop on what their activities were for the day. I received many videos of my dog playing with her interactive feeder toys or chasing a ball around with Ilana. I felt confident that she was getting plenty of exercise and stimulation during the stay. My dog seemed relaxed and comfortable when I picked her up. I will definitely be using Ilana again in the future!
Jacob was great with our dog while we were away for two weeks. He was easy to communicate with prior to the trip and set up a meet and greet so we could make sure Lacey was comfortable with him and in his home. During the trip he provided daily updates and even bought her a new frisbee when she tore hers up playing. Would definitely trust Jacob with our dog again next time we travel!
Jacqueline is the best dog sitter! She had a handful with my rescue Dude, a Shih Tzu mix. He was not medicated enough, because I did not realize that he was not quite as comfortable as he seemed at the Meet & Greet. Jacqueline called us, and we figured out a different medication schedule which did work. I recommend this sitter highly!
Sam and her daughter took care of our Bernese Mountain dog for three weeks while we were gone over the summer. She was easy to schedule with, and responsive when we checked in to see how things were going. She was thoughtful about introducing our dog to her dog (as well as her cats). Our dog came home happy! Katherine was an absolute life saver and caregiver to our dog, Mandy, while we were on vacation. She had recently had some swelling due to a bug bite.
