There are not enough words to express how wonderful Meagan is! I have used the rover app for years now and have never had a more reliable, communicative, thoughtful, attentive, compassionate individual take care of my sweet fur babies! We are so grateful and lucky to have Meagan in our lives, she truly has treated myself and my dogs as if we were family! 10/10 would recommend her to take care of your animals! Mine are my whole world and the job I work requires I leave them for extended periods of time, with Meagan I have peace of mind knowing that they are happy, safe, and well cared for!

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals—-dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs etc. I’m a very detail oriented person and I love when an owner gives me as much detail as possible in order to take the best care of their baby ☺️ I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds, all sizes and dogs with different needs (helping a dog thru a weight loss journey, anxious shy dogs, dogs that require medication etc). I love animals more than I love people and it shows! Anytime I meet someone’s pet, they’re always drawn to me and I feel very honored by that! I’m extremely patient and calm with animals because I have had my own pets who had special needs. I’m currently new to the Colorado Springs area and doing gig work, so I can be available to check on your pets anytime throughout the day! I treat a clients home with the utmost respect and only go where authorized or use only what the client tells me to for their pet! I’m very attentive to pets’ safety and I will treat your baby with the love and respect that I treat my own with ☺️

About: I have over 8 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals, which includes dogs, cats, and bigger animas. I’ve handled everything from daily walks and playtime to feeding and check-ins, always making sure each pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I work full-time during the day, but I’m able to spend my mornings, evenings, and nights giving your pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship. I’m available 7 days a week and can commit to longer stays, making sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m open to taking dogs on care rides and to dog parks for extra fun and exercise, if that’s something you’d like. Also once I have my own home—hopefully this summer—I’ll be happy to offer a comfortable space where pets can stay with me if they’re comfortable in a new environment. I do have a very friendly, playful dog as well who loves meeting new friends, so your pup can enjoy some social time if they’re comfortable with that.

About: I grew up in the country (Elizabeth) on some acreage, surrounded by animals of all kinds, so caring for them is second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve had hands-on experience with horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, dogs, and cats—each with their own personalities and needs. As a current dog, cat, and chicken owner, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your animals. I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care so you can feel confident your pets are safe, happy, and well-loved while you’re away. Working from home or in transit to meet clients, my schedule is flexible. I live in Elizabeth and when I’m not in my home office, I’m in Parker, Castle Rock, Kiowa and surrounding areas. As I work for myself and set my own schedule, I’m available for daily or multiple times a day to support you in caring for your fur babies when you are unable to be with them. My own fur babies are a bit spoiled. When I’m at home they are generally nearby. We spend time outdoors on the property regularly. (though Chloe prefers to be inside in her favorite chair) Otis loves walks and eagerly hops in the car when we go for walks in town. (and he looks forward to the pup cup that follows) Otis is about 140lbs (cane corso) and Chloe was rescued from a ranch where she had been severely injured and semi feral. She was very skittish and she has blossomed into an attention seeking snuggler with a continuous purs.

About: I grew up around and have experience with horses, farm animals, cats, and dogs. I am partial to Maine Coons and large breed dogs, especially boxer/bully breeds and all their quirkiness but really enjoy caring for all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I enjoy gardening and am also happy to help out with any plants or gardens in need of care as well. I work remotely so I will be available to be around a majority of the day and will have ample time to play and interact with your pet. Whether your pet loves chasing squirrels, snuggling on the couch, being adored 24/7 or all the above and then some-I’m their person. I’ve cared for senior dogs, special diets, and high-energy tail-waggers for over 20 years. About: My love for animals is genuine. They've been a part of my life since childhood. I often pet sit for my friends and family alike. While being cared for in my home, our four legged friends will enjoy playing fetch, hide and seek, tug of war, and of course getting cuddles too. I welcome elderly dogs as well. I have experience in administering medications, assisting elderly dogs with walking issues, hip issues, along with the blind, and the deaf dogs; they are all welcome and well taken care of here. I do allow most dogs on some furniture with a blanket provided by the owner. However, I do not allow them in beds. * I only accept dogs from one family at a time, and I only can accommodate 2 dogs at once. *. I have an open calendar most of the time. I do not work outside the home, and I have plenty of time for your pets. All our four legged friends get spoiled in the house of Morris. I have a fenced yard. I live near several parks, and there are many trails around my neighborhood with 2 dog parks in the area. *I will only take them to the dog park with the owners approval.*

About: My family and I use to foster puppies all the time when I was little. We also always had our family husky lab dog. I now have my own Husky who will be carried for at home while I care for yours. have been in the dog sitting business for so long with just friends and neighbors. But I ended up getting this one gig where the lady herself boarded dogs and no joke she had at least 6 dogs one time when she asked me to stay overnight. All had different food and some medication. There were 2 chichas downstairs together. and the other 4 were left lose to sleep with me. I'm looking for jobs now, so I'm pretty open on schedule. So please feel free reach out with the time you want for your animals. I live in a house with 2 other dogs for my Husky to play with. Which I will leave my dog there when im out looking after others, as she has a loving little tribe at home with my roomates and her dog friends. I'm use to my husky needing run alot and having alot of energy so nothing is new for me in that department of dogs. If needed to live in with the dog, then I will fully move in for that time frame so the dog isn't lonely. I love play tug of war and ball with dogs and some cats even have played fetch for me. I love getting cuddles from little furry pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve.

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Elbert. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
