“Nicole went out of her way to make my dogs feel comfortable! They are Chihuahuas so they are very defensive initially and she took the time to get to know them! She took them on several walks and sent lovely pictures of them! I really felt at ease with her being here! I give her five stars and recommend her fully!”

“Heidi was just plain fantastic. Her genuine care and constant updates just put all of my anxiety of leaving my dogs at rest. Heidi again thank you so very much for being a perfect human.”

“Alexandra was amazing with our dog! She came by 2-3X a day for 2 weeks while we were out of town. She was always on time, communicative, great with updates and photos. I never had a concern with our pup while we were away, as I knew she was in good hands. We will gladly book with Lexie again and highly recommend her!”

“Katilyn was absolutely wonderful with our Millie girl! Our door was acting up and wouldn’t unlock, but Katilyn remained so professional, communicative, and kind throughout the whole situation. She even stayed longer than she needed to so she could check in on Millie and spend some extra time with her. We are so grateful for the care she showed our pup and for going above and beyond to put our minds at ease. We would absolutely recommend Katilyn and will definitely be using her again!”

“Courtney was great with our dog. He was alive and happy when we got home. He was well taken care of and didn’t chew up our house. She sent pictures and let us know how he was doing.”

“Lexi had great patience and was great with my pups! They loved her and I intend to request her services again in the future. You were awesome Lexi!! Thank you for caring for my fur babies”

“Savanna is amazing! We have 4 animals and she met with us before our trip to give us peace of mind and she worked with us when our flights got changed and we needed to come back at a different time. All the while she sent pictures and updates of our animals. I highly recommend her!”

About: I am a pet parent of an 8 year old Boston Terrier, a re-homed Chihuahua, a 3 years old kitty and a new kitten. Previously I raised three other Boston Terriers from puppyhood until each of their passing and a cat with FIV. I am experienced with puppies & kittens, adult dogs & cats, and senior pets as well as pets with illnesses. I have had kitty training as well as dog handling training through the Denver Dumb Friends League. I believe pets are family members and are to be treated with love and respect. Wheather your pet is at my house or I am at yours, you'll never have to worry about their well-being and will always know your pet is safe. This is my promise to you!
“Kessandra was wonderful to work with. She took great care of our dogs. There was significant snowfall while we were out of town and Kessandra was able to still reach our home and care for the dogs. Highly recommend her.”
“Amazing!! I would leave amiri with Kimberly over & over again she is phenomenal! Kimberly did more than what was asked for & cared for my baby as if he was her own!! 100% recommend!!!!!”

“Robyn did three drop in visits for me and I couldn’t be more happy with the job she did. She had clearly shown them all the love and affection in the world while I was gone. They were well taken care of in my absence, she played with them, picked up after them and ensured their every need was met. Would recommend her to anyone in the future, will rebook in the future!”
“Hannah was amazing and took great care of our girl. Dixie is skeptical of strangers but it did not take long for her to warm up to Hannah. It snowed while we were away and Hannah wiped Dixie’s paws so our floors weren’t a mess. She even offered to vacuum Dixie’s hair from all the shedding she’s doing. Hannah was thoughtful and went above and beyond what I asked of her. If you are looking for someone who is reliable and who would take care of your fur baby like their own, Hannah is your person! I highly recommend her services and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Brittany always goes above and beyond to make our dogs happy while we're away, and to make sure we are comfortable being away from them. Her communication and reliability are both EXCELLENT. Thank you, Brittany & fam!!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 1,055 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Peyton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Peyton. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
