“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, I’ve always had my own, and honestly, I can’t imagine a house without one. I started helping out neighbors and family with their pets when I was 10, and I’ve been the "go-to" dog sitter for my friends ever since. I’ve handled just about every personality type there is. I treat every dog I watch like they’re part of my own family. I’m 62 years old and work from home so I’m available most days, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pups! Because of my flexible schedule your pet can always talk me into cuddling instead of working. Big bonus is I live in Meridian Ranch. We have a fenced yard and a doggie door to ensure your pet stays safe at all times. We also allow pets on our furniture as well as in the beds….just sayin…..we have two grandchildren who adore dogs and are excited about having them here when they visit. We have had some pets who have peed in the house despite being house broken. If needed we do put belly bands/&or diapers on your pet if they use our carpet/and or furniture instead of outside. We do host up to four pets at a time so there could be a chance that your pet would have a playmate during their stay.

About: I've had 2-3 dogs in my house all of my life. They are family, their comfort is my priority. I have enough room and time to make them comfortable. I am home just about everyday and have nothing but time to fuss over pets. My 2 dogs are older and quiet. I Love dogs. I have a lot of room for your pet to roam or hang out. Multiple dogs bed throughout the house and a decent sized fenced in back yard.

About: Hi, thank you for viewing my profile. I have been around animals my whole life and I have been a certified vet tech for over 20 years. In addition to being a veterinary technician, I am also a behavior technician and Certified Dog Trainer. I have several dogs and cats of my own (and goats and rats and Guinea pigs and fish) and am comfortable walking dogs of any size, age, and breed. Rest assured I will never put your pet in harm's way. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, your dog will be with us all day. Your pup will get many potty and playtime breaks, I have a large fenced in secure backyard for them to run. We adapt to each dogs routine to drive comfort and to maintian their routine for consistency - the minimum expectations we offer: -all day supervision -at minimum pottty breaks every 2 hours during day -maintain your feeding schedule/routine that you have at home, we will mirror it -couch, yes! -Important - if you crate your dog and want us to, we will and have our own crates small and large - but we do prefer to let them be crate free and have fun.

About: I grew up with animals in my home and always loved having them around and taking care of them. My beloved min-pin Gruve passed away in 2024 after a long life of living in CA and his last few years in CO. Freya came to live with my in late 2024, female dobie pup, very friendly and lots of energy. I've watched my neighbors dogs in the past and enjoyed having them over for stays. I am experienced in giving medications and injections(Gruve was diabetic) Currently WFH in Castle Rock and have a house with a big enough backyard for doggos to play. There is also enough room for them to get comfortable and rest. Also i've attended the Castle Rock MOC K9 obedience course and can help with basic obidience, anxiety and focused 1to1 play engagement. I will treat your pet kindly and give lots of attention to their needs. and a play buddy Freya. Looking forward to meeting another furry friend! I currently WFH with very flexible hours, i am available to walk/care for dogs most days. I am familiar with the hiking trails around my area if that is an activity your dog likes to do or just a regular neighborhood walk. 1to1 Playtime is also important for some breeds and i enjoy doing that too. I can offer crate training, or let your pet on the couch / anywhere in my living area they are welcome. Plenty of play toys to keep them entertained.
