About: I have grown up around animals my entire life and I’ve always had a passion for helping them. I used to pet sit for neighbors often when I was younger. I have a particular love for cats, and I would do anything for them! It can be hard to find a person to watch your cat or even exotic pet, but that’s what I’m aiming to help people with! I have almost 6 years of clinical animal care technician and shelter experience so I am well trained with animals with medical issues. I have worked with pets of all kinds and all ages with different needs. I have done everything from bottle feeding to giving senior animals insulin or whatever else they may need. I am Fear Free certified as well. I recently moved to the area and am looking for work. Caring for pets is what I know and love. If I get a more steady job, my availability may lessen. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have experience owning and caring for dogs since the third grade. About: Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Raised on a farm and on a pre-vet track from a young age, I’ve spent decades caring for animals of all kinds—from house pets to livestock to wildlife. I am comfortable using a crate, and we have plenty of floor room in the house (carpet and laminate) for them to lay down if they're not crate trained. We do not allow dogs on the furniture. Cats are allowed to wander the house. We are more than happy to put up child gates to keep your furry family member in certain areas of the house if they're prone to getting into things (such as stuffed animals for the kiddos... I mean really, a lot of doggie toys these days look so similar! I'd understand the misconception. lol) We're not afraid to be firm but kind if your family member needs set boundaries.
