“Angelina was a great catsitter. I was nervous about travelling because my cat is timid and scared of new people but she took great care of him and sent photos/updates everyday that made my trip much less stressful.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life ❤️ I’ve had both cats and dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I currently have two large dogs and two cats of my own, and I truly believe pets are family. I’ll always treat your pup with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. I’m a stay-at-home wife, so I’m home throughout the day and have plenty of time to give your pup lots of attention, love, potty breaks, playtime, walks, and cuddles. I also have a fenced-in backyard where the dogs can safely spend time outside, play, get some fresh air, and enjoy the sunshine. I love getting to know each dog and their unique personality and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and safe while they’re with me. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person caring for your fur baby, so I’m always happy to send pictures and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is being loved and well cared for while you’re away. ❤️ Being a stay-at-home wife gives me a very open and flexible schedule for pet sitting. I’m available throughout the week and can be flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. I’m also able to accommodate each dog’s usual feeding, potty, and sleeping schedule so their routine feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I want every dog staying with me to feel safe and comfortable in my home. I have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time and two friendly large dogs of my own. I also have two cats who stay in their own separate room while I’m boarding dogs. I’m happy to crate your pup if that’s part of their normal routine, and I always follow any instructions you leave for me.
“Heather has done 2 drop-in visits with my dog. He’s always excited to see her. She takes great care of him, making sure he goes potty, gets his energy out, eats his dinner and gets a few treats. Her communication is always clear and very friendly.”

“Christina was great! She took excellent care of my kitties. Sent me pictures from every visit, which was awesome. My cats are pretty shy, & it was great seeing them get more comfortable with her as the week went on.”

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!
“Emily was wonderful with our dog. This was our first time using Rover and I was a little nervous leaving Chloe for a week, but Emily was so great to work with. She is very diligent and reliable. The care and love she showed towards our dog put us at ease while we were on vacation. I loved her report cards, which at times were funny but they always showed her caring spirit towards Chloe. We will definitely be using Emily in the future!”

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old. Growing up on a farm, I learned to take care of animals from a very young age. Additionally, I spent a lot of my high school years pet sitting for neighbors, family friends, and friends of friends! I have had many dogs of many different breeds and ages. I tend to be an active person, so walking and playing with my pets to ensure their exercise is something I prioritize. I’m very good at adapting to pets different personalities and making them as comfortable as possible. I work 5 days a week but on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. My hours are 9-3, so I have plenty of time during the week to love on your pet! Additionally, my weekends are free. Though I do not have any pets currently, I have an apartment with plenty of room, outside space, and live directly across from a huge, gated dog park— which is friendly to all sizes of dogs. Additionally, I live right next to tons of walking trails, perfect for those pets who love their walks! If your pup is needing to be crated, I can easily make that happen, as well as anything else your pet needs!

“Kimberlee was very communicative and reliable! She took great care of Linus and made sure he was doing well with his food, water and litter box. Would definitely rebook!”

About: I stand out from other sitters because I bring a rare combination of veterinary training, hands‑on clinical experience, and a lifetime of caring for animals of all sizes. I am a veterinary nurse graduate from Marian University Plymouth 2026, which means I approach every pet with a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety. Alongside my education, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant in both large and small animal medicine, and during my several externships at Emergency, Specialty Hospitals, Private Practice and currently working at a veterinary clinic. These roles have given me extensive experience with senior pets, animals with medical needs, medication administration, safe animals handling and recognizing early signs of illness or stress — skills that most sitters don’t have. Beyond my clinical background, animals have been a central part of my life from the very beginning. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to shy or anxious pets. I also have a fountain in farm work which created a strong sense of responsibility and dedication. Your pets aren’t just watched — they’re cared for by someone who truly understands them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine since I’m currently working at a veterinary clinic with a consistent schedule. I work Tuesday–Friday, and depending on your location, I can stop by for mid‑day potty breaks during the week. I also follow a steady, work‑style rhythm, so I can visit in the mornings before my shift and return in the evenings for feeding, walks, or check‑ins. My weekends are even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for longer visits or extended care. Because of my profession and lifestyle, pet sitting blends seamlessly into my routine, and I make sure every pet receives dependable, attentive care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment that keeps pets comfortable. I like too follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible — from feeding and medication schedules to preferred walking routes and bedtime habits — because familiar patterns help reduce stress. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance so they feel relaxed even when their family is away. My goal is to provide care that feels seamless, trustworthy, and grounded in both compassion and professional experience.

“Carly was a great cat sitter for Crystal! 😊 She kept me updated during each visit with pictures and videos, which really helped us feel at ease while we were away. She was patient and sweet with Crystal, and I was so happy to hear that Crystal warmed up to her 🤍 Thank you again, Carly, for taking good care of our baby!”

About: I've had a passion for animals my entire life and have experience volunteering with a local dog rescue since 2018, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. Over the years, I have learned how to feed, walk, administer medications when needed, clean, socialize, and provide plenty of love and attention. Family members have also trusted me enough to care for their loved ones while away. I understand that every animal has unique needs, and I strive to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm available for pet care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During that time, I can provide drop-in visits, pet sitting, feeding, fresh water, potty breaks in the yard, playtime, enrichment activities, companionship, and medication administration if needed. Because I have tarsal tunnel syndrome, I do not offer dog walking services, but I love keeping pets active through indoor games, toys, and interactive play that matches their energy level. I'll always follow your pet's routine and provide regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident they're receiving attentive, loving care while you're away. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs before providing care. I'll treat your home and your furry family member with the same respect and attention I'd give my own. I'm attentive to behavior, keep a close eye on pets during playtime, and always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, and household rules. You'll receive regular photo updates and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. We are very well organized, and have also taken care of our many children throughout our lives!
“We had a really good experience with Kylie taking care of both the cats. Both cats gelled with her, she made sure to share many pictures from every visit. Had a peace of mind, knowing they were in good hands. We will definitely approach her again if we get a chance.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and I’ve often cared for the dogs of my family friends! I feel comfortable working with dogs of all sizes. As a college athlete, I understand balancing busy schedules with taking care of pets, and I would love to spend time with your pets either for a walking break or to hang out with them while I study! I am a full-time medical student but can easily fit dog sitting into my study schedule! I will have slightly more availability on weekends but will hopefully be flexible as needed. I treat my client’s home like I’d want them to treat mine! I often end up doing some extra cleaning where needed and I always clean up after myself and their pets. Coming back to a clean and well-kept home is always a breath of fresh air after time away!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Edgewater
Emily was amazing! I have a disabled cat and have only ever had family care for her while I’ve been away. I had a lot of anxiety about trying to find a pet sitter I trusted who could accommodate her needs. At our meet and greet, Emily had a calm confidence to her that made me feel so reassured. She took great care of my cats. She kept in touch and wrote a note each visit with photos which I really appreciated. I will definitely rebook with her!

My absolute favorite thing about Jaclyn is her consistency. I know I can count on her to provide great care to Severus and Draco. She is great with them and takes care to ensure they are safe and loved while I can’t be there with them. She is hands down our only preferred sitter. 💕

Hanling took excellent care of our kitty! She came in advance to meet him and get instructions in person, and spent lots of time playing and cuddling with him on each visit so he wouldn't be too lonely while we were gone. She also sent us lots of pictures of him. We will definitely call her the next time we need a pet sitter.
