About: As an active, playful person myself, I want to give your dog a space to get some wiggles out and enjoy the day, rain or shine. I’m an ELA teacher on summer break, and I’d love to spend time walking and caring for your dogs during the hours I’d normally be teaching. As a human being who values quiet as well as activity, my priority is making sure your dog feels at peace around me as we spend time together and find adventure on our walks. My dog loves to sit by me on the floor for a while after getting back from a good walk :) I also focus on making sure I maintain the rhythms and routines to which your pet is already accustomed, giving them a safe space even with someone new to their life.

“I have never used Rover before and so this was a large leap of faith for me to let someone watch my pets for 5 days. Janelle proved to be diligent in sending me updates everyday, and went above and beyond to provide for my fur babies. One of my kitties ate all the food left in her automatic feeder (knocked it over ugh) and they were not going to have enough food to last until we came back, so she went to the store and picked up more food for them!! I would recommend Janelle every time and will be using her again in the future for services 💕🥰 Thanks again!!”

About: I have experience as a general manager/Kennel Tech of a pet care facility, I have a soft spot working with the spicier friends, and the nervous Nellie babies🩷 I tale pride in continuing my education on dog and cat behavior and care. I absolutely adore all sorts of animals down to the tiniest amphibians to the biggest mammals🩷🐾 I work majority of the “work” week meaning Monday through Friday and I have alternating Saturdays, and always have Sundays off. My schedule due to being a manager can change at times, but I’m pretty flexible working out any kind of schedule needed for any furry friends in my care. I will follow any rules given, any routines that need to be followed, ect. I’m a sucker for rules and I always wanna make sure that I am making my clients and their fur babies happy.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—there has literally never been a time growing up when I didn't have a pet at home! On top of my lifelong hands-on experience, I spent all four years of high school volunteering weekly at a local animal shelter, dedicating about 8 hours a week to caring for both cats and dogs. I’d love to bring that same high level of care, patience, and love to your furry family members! I'm currently on summer break from the University of Notre Dame, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work with the Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional seasonally. I value safety over anything and will keep a close eye on your pets as much as requested. I understand what can happen if an animal is left alone for too long, and will ensure that your animals are safe and protected.

About: I (Amelia) have taken care of my own dogs since I was seven and consider it a privilege and an honor to care for your pets when you need to be away. As a huge animal lover, I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and have previously worked at a kennel bathing and grooming dogs and at a veterinarian as a technician/assistant. I also have some experience with dog training and have trained my own dog from being an unruly rescue to a well-behaved house dog. I am willing to care for whatever pets a client has and love to learn new things and expand my knowledge of pet care. I am always learning more about dog training and pet care and will bring that knowledge into my care for your pets. I have a flexible schedule and love walking dogs and getting outdoor exercise and am looking to add some more dog-walking and drop-in visits to my schedule. I take great precautions to make sure all dogs in my care are safe. I will frequently double-leash or use a harness with a collar to prevent any escapes while dog walking. I take care to keep dogs away from strange dogs and anticipate and prevent any dangers before they happen.

About: I have babysat for 5 years and on the side I would always pet sit, also with all of the families I have watched I would also be taking care of their pets! I have also volunteered at plenty of shelters!! I am a very energetic loving person and love to bring that energy into a pets life and be able to make their day :) I am currently a part time nanny so like before I would love to start pet sitting and walking while I’m not doing that!! I love getting my exercise in and keeping my days busy so I feel this would be great for me! I won’t be offering pet care in my home but at the clients home I would love to play with the pet to get energy and of course give it some love! I’m able to crate, feed, play, walk the pet whatever is needed!!
