About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

Janelle proved to be diligent in sending me updates everyday, and went above and beyond to provide for my fur babies. One of my kitties ate all the food left in her automatic feeder (knocked it over ugh) and they were not going to have enough food to last until we came back, so she went to the store and picked up more food for them!! About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old. Growing up on a farm, I learned to take care of animals from a very young age. Additionally, I spent a lot of my high school years pet sitting for neighbors, family friends, and friends of friends! I have had many dogs of many different breeds and ages. I tend to be an active person, so walking and playing with my pets to ensure their exercise is something I prioritize. I’m very good at adapting to pets different personalities and making them as comfortable as possible. I work 5 days a week but on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office, 2 days working from home. My hours are 9-3, so I have plenty of time during the week to love on your pet! Additionally, my weekends are free. Though I do not have any pets currently, I have an apartment with plenty of room, outside space, and live directly across from a huge, gated dog park— which is friendly to all sizes of dogs. Additionally, I live right next to tons of walking trails, perfect for those pets who love their walks! If your pup is needing to be crated, I can easily make that happen, as well as anything else your pet needs!

About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. Our goal is to keep our girl, Rya, active and happy with walks every morning, afternoon, and evening—with the occasional midnight adventure! Since we currently live in an apartment, regular walks are an important part of our daily routine, giving us plenty of steps while making sure she gets the exercise and stimulation she needs. We always come prepared with water, treats, and dog bags whenever necessary, and we’d provide the same level of care and attention to any pet entrusted to us. To ensure building safety, trust, and a positive environment, I am open to receiving feedback from the owner about each of their pets' schedules or rules they are accustomed to, and to providing care and supervision when the clients are not present.
