About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

I work Tuesday–Friday, and depending on your location, I can stop by for mid‑day potty breaks during the week. I also follow a steady, work‑style rhythm, so I can visit in the mornings before my shift and return in the evenings for feeding, walks, or check‑ins. My weekends are even more flexible, giving me plenty of time for longer visits or extended care. Because of my profession and lifestyle, pet sitting blends seamlessly into my routine, and I make sure every pet receives dependable, attentive care throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment that keeps pets comfortable. I like too follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible — from feeding and medication schedules to preferred walking routes and bedtime habits — because familiar patterns help reduce stress. I treat every home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, enrichment, and reassurance so they feel relaxed even when their family is away. I currently have two large dogs and two cats of my own, and I truly believe pets are family. I’ll always treat your pup with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. About: Your pet is welcome in my home! They will get lots of TLC, play time, feeding, walking & love. My house is small but live on 2 acres in the country. My yard is not fenced so I walk your pets on a leash & there are trails in the woods where they love to walk too. I also have a tie out if they dont do well on a leash & some are fine to free roam but they are never left unattended. I can take 2 small to medium dogs or 2 large or 1 giant dog. I will also transport your pet(s) to & from your home if needed. This will be an additional fee. I have been professionally petsitting for the past 17 years. References are supplied upon request. Any cancellation less than 7 days before stay begins will result in no refund provided.
