About: As an active, playful person myself, I want to give your dog a space to get some wiggles out and enjoy the day, rain or shine. I’m an ELA teacher on summer break, and I’d love to spend time walking and caring for your dogs during the hours I’d normally be teaching. As a human being who values quiet as well as activity, my priority is making sure your dog feels at peace around me as we spend time together and find adventure on our walks. My dog loves to sit by me on the floor for a while after getting back from a good walk :) I also focus on making sure I maintain the rhythms and routines to which your pet is already accustomed, giving them a safe space even with someone new to their life.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life—there has literally never been a time growing up when I didn't have a pet at home! On top of my lifelong hands-on experience, I spent all four years of high school volunteering weekly at a local animal shelter, dedicating about 8 hours a week to caring for both cats and dogs. I’d love to bring that same high level of care, patience, and love to your furry family members! I'm currently on summer break from the University of Notre Dame, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I work with the Boys and Girls Club as a Youth Development Professional seasonally. I value safety over anything and will keep a close eye on your pets as much as requested. I understand what can happen if an animal is left alone for too long, and will ensure that your animals are safe and protected.

About: I have many years of experience with household animals, family/friends pets, and various types! I am fluid with service animals as well as with animals requiring special care needs! I am currently open to job opportunities and have a pretty flexible schedule for the foreseeable future. I currently have a 14 year old maltese boy Unless specified otherwise, feedings are routine and scheduled based. Any medicines that need to be administered are taken care of. I have a big backyard, unfenced but have space to let pets out and roam on a long leash.

About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. We are very well organized, and have also taken care of our many children throughout our lives!

About: Dogs are a part of my soul and will be well cared for. Including walks, playtime, food, water and a doggy door. I cannot wait to meet your pup. I am a stay at home dog Mom. I am always available unless I am running errands. I do 2 meals a day and walk in the afternoon. My pets rule the roost. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since I was a kid. I finally got my own mini bernadoodle a year ago! It’s been the best first year with her. I love dogs of all kinds and would love to get to know your fur babies too 🐶💛 My schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to help out whenever. Whether that is walking, taking your pup out for a potty break or playing with your pup, I’m your girl! I have a friendly 1 year old mini bernadoodle puppy who I can bring with if you want your dog to have more socialization. Otherwise, I can come to your home and can crate your dog after if needed.

I also have two dogs and two cats of my own. I have many years of experience caring for friends’ and families’ dogs and cats—of different breeds, ages, and sizes. Being active is a big part of my life so I enjoy taking dogs on long walks, playing fetch with them, and then snuggling on the couch after a long day of activities! I work from home, so I can be flexible with owners’ schedules. I can work from your house, in order to spend more quality time with your babies. I am mindful of your routine and suggestions! I will follow your recommendations on what to do to keep your pets feeling relaxed and safe.

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

About: I love walking dogs and I make sure I have 2 water bottles for me and the dog(s) or cats. I’m a local, so I know all the hip spots where the dogs like to mingle. I can also care for sick pets and have experience with dogs having seizures and cats with diabetes. I’m willing to learn the proper way to care for your pet when they are in my care. If your pet has any special needs please inform me in full. I can currently only pet sit small dogs and cats in my current residence. A little info about me: I’m a local recent college grad involved in the artistic community around South Bend IN. I work for a local book store and have flexible hours. Mondays - Wednesdays my schedule is more giving. Thursday-Saturday, I am free after 3PM to care for your pet family. I work in the NN Neighborhood, so I’ll finish up at the book shop and can take your pets on a nice walk through the neighborhood. When I am home sitting for a pet parent, I’d like to know if the pets is on a specific schedule and if they are in need any medications. I spend time with the animals sitting outside in the yard or inside the home for pets who cannot handle outside weather conditions. If you have cats, I’ll make sure their litter box is clean when I leave and that all water and food bowls are filled.
