About: I have always loved and cared for animals basically all of my life. I have a chihuahua named Minnie and cat named Blue Kittles, both are very friendly, loving, and full of energy! I love caring for animals while making sure they're happy, healthy, and safe! I graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelors in Animal Science in December 2020. Being that I have a lot experience working with dogs, cats, chickens, turkey, cattle, and swine animals it doesn’t matter what kind of animal you may have I know what it takes to keep any animal safe and happy ! As a teacher on summer break, I now have more time to care for my pets daily with walks, feedings, grooming, and extra play and bonding. I provide consistent care by feeding, walking, grooming, and giving attention to pets. In clients' homes, I follow specific instructions to maintain routines and comfort.
“Kenan & Kayleigh were awesome! They loved Billy and Joey (miniature dachshunds) like their own and always sent updates with pictures and videos! Their home is clean and their indoor kennels our dogs loved (along with their couch for extra snuggles). 🥰 We will 100% be using them again!”

“Samantha was wonderful! She was very communicative throughout our two dogs stay, and we can tell she loved them like her own. Her home was ready for our pups as soon as we got there and she was very good about introducing our dogs to hers individually and without incident. You can tell she has cared for dogs for a long time, she took care of our dogs very well. We definitely will use her again when we come back to Greensboro!”

“She did an amazing job taking care of my baby girls, updating me every step of the way. Will definitely be using her again next time I need a sitter in Greensboro!! ❤️”

“Taylor is amazing! She took such a good care of Canelo while I was at work, her dog Rêve played with him all day. It was wonderful to come home and have him tired out and happy.”

“Amanda did a great job taking care of our pup! Loved getting pics regularly to see how he was doing since it's been a long time since he's stayed with someone other than family. Amanda took care of Blitz like he was family too.”

“Jenna & Shane jumped in when another sitter ghosted me. Communicated clearly and promptly. Helped out when we had travel problems and couldn't get home on the scheduled date. Dogs were happy. Will use again.”

About: I consider myself a nurturer-by-nature: ever since I was young I’ve felt a special, undeniable bond with animals and, in particular, dogs. I love getting to know each pup’s personality and what makes them tick, ensuring they feel comfortable, and their owner can rest knowing their canine best friend is in good hands. When you schedule a service with me, your pet is my priority. Rest assured that they’ll receive the upmost attention and engagement. Nothing is worse than feeling as though your pet is lonely or bored when you’re away. I’m here to give your companion the love they deserve! When your pet stays with me they become a part of my pack. Regular potty breaks, walks, plenty of fresh water and treats, snuggles and back-scratches: I want your pup to feel at home, away from home.
“I was comfortable from the moment I dropped Jessie off at Rachael's until the minute I picked her up, because it was obvious she loves dogs and they love her. Jessie took to Rachael right away and acted as if going to her house was a common thing even though they just met. I received several pictures each day and an update on how things were going. I think Rachael took really good care of Jessie and both Jessie and I look forward to a return trip!”

“Tyra was amazing! She kept my dog Luna for 4 days while while I went out of town, and she kept me updated everyday with pictures and messages about what Luna did. I could tell Luna was enjoying her time with Tyra, and Tyra will be my first choice next time I need to board Luna.”

“Jakiah is the SWEETEST ! This is our second time boarding with her. Prince loves her & he’s overly excited every time to see both her and Dusty. She does great updates with photos and videos. She’s flexible & dependable. Very attentive to details & so professional & friendly . Thank you so much.”

“Kayleigh and her children treated my dog like he was one of theirs .Communication was great she gave me updates to help my anxiety as well . Zeus came back home with out a cough which was definitely a plus for me . I will definitely be going to her again”

“This was our first time needing someone to watch my mother's senior dog Curly. Jessica has a calm demeanor and put us at ease when we met her. She kept us updated on Curly’s 10-day stay. We were pleased with using the Rover app and with Jessica.”

“It was our first time using Rover, but Juliana was a highly regarded sitter and so we entrusted our two dogs to her and it was a wonderful experience for us and them. Archer and Apollo were taken care of, and were treated as well as her own dogs. She provided any updates and plenty of pics, and followed any specific instructions regarding pills or activities to a “T”. We thank Juliana for her hosting and would absolutely use her services again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
