About: I have been taking care of animals for over 2 decades at my grandmas animal sanctuary. I also have a 4 year old pup, Amira, who loves to play and make new friends. She is very respectful towards all types. We’ll be sure to care for your loved one like they are apart of our pack. I work remote with my design consultant firm. I commit a lot of my day around my pups happiness and typically work outside so she can hang outside where she loves it most. I have a spacious fenced in backyard all the dogs are welcome to. My dog will be glad to give all company here. I also exercise my dog regularly on walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 10 years, both in-house, and check-ins for walkies. I started with my boss’ golden retriever, who had to stay behind when they moved countries because he needed a surgery and recovery. I took care of him for 2 months, and planned his entire trip overseas to his family. After that, it became a calling for me. I also had to leave my own dog home with my mum when I moved, and taking care of fur babies helps me a lot with the missing of her. I take care of each of my clients as if they are my own. I’m currently working part time, and my work day starts pretty early so by mid-morning I am free to spend all the time needed with your babies! My off days are during the week, so I also have 2 days mid-week in which to devote my full attention to them Because there are pets at my place, I only do house-sitting or check-ins. I usually do a visit prior to my stay/first day so the pets can meet me in their safe enclosure, and also so I may learn routines and where things are located (treats, pads, bags, etc). It also helps with meeting in person with the humans and establishing a personal relationship. I usually get keys at that time as well, or get logged in to the security system. I have no problem in providing ID at that time for safety.

About: I have always wanted a dog since I was a child. To fill the void, I took care for other dogs from time to time. Such as a close friend from high school needed someone to care for her Boston Terrier and I provided services to walk her three times a day and give her medication. I truly care about these animals lives, and I want to be involved with helping them have a happy and full existence. It’s sad to see dogs or cats in shelters that have been affected by abuse. So hopefully one day, I will adopt a rescue of my own and live out the rest of their years with me. My love for animals has directed me to help dog or cat owners with taking good care of them! Im currently working full time during the week but my schedule is flexible on Friday and over the weekend! I could pop by once during a week night if needed. I take daily walks anyways, it would be nice to have a companion! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their routine closely, whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or cuddles. I keep their space clean, send daily updates with photos and treat every pet like they’re my own!

About: I have been a pet owner for my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I love animals of all kinds but dogs and cats each hold a special place in my heart. I have raised and trained multiple dogs from puppies and currently live in Silverlake with my 4 year old cat Freddie. I have been caring for other peoples' pets since I was a kid and am the first call for friends when they need someone to watch their fur babies. I have experience providing patient and empathetic care to dogs of all shapes and sizes, at all stages of life, and dogs dealing with challenges such as reactivity, leash pulling, and separation anxiety. My own dog, Ollie, dealt with blindness and deafness so I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and administering medication. I've developed a good sense for dogs after my time being a parent or aunt to many, working at an animal shelter, and fostering them. Many people have commented to me that their normally selective or challenging dogs warm up to me faster than they expected! While I haven't been a cat parent as long as I've been a dog parent, I have been caring for them since I was a kid as well. My first experience with cats was bottle feeding newborn foster kittens and since then I've volunteered at a cat shelter and taken care of many friends cats as well. My priority when caring for your pet is ensuring they are safe and I am maintaining the care and training you normally provide. I work from home so I have the flexibility to fit you and your pet's schedule. I am always happy to do in person or facetime meet and greets prior to answer any questions you may have. I am currently self-employed, so I have an extremely flexible schedule and am willing to work with pet owners to ensure their pet is well cared for. When I am caring for a pet in my client's home, I prioritize respect. I'm there to spend time with your pet and ensure they are receiving the care they need. I generally try to get an understanding of your pets normal routine and then continue that. Often this includes regular play time, potty breaks, meals, and a walk schedule.

About: I've grown up around animals since childhood & have lots of experience taking care of all critters, big or small, young or old. My best friend is a 13 year old Chihuahua Dachshund and we enjoy taking daily walks in the local parks, with lots of sniffs, and healthy treats. I'm comfortable giving medications, filling special dietary needs, and intuitively catering the individual needs of the different animals I have in my care. I currently work part-time as a teaching artist and have flexible availability to spend time with my dog & yours! I love being outside in all weather, and enjoy having a dog to accompany me on my walks or runs. I like to keep a consistent schedule & behavior with animal buddies so they know what to expect when they are with me, from potty breaks to regularly scheduled treats (if approved) and behavioral training. My fully fenced backyard has plenty of grass and flowers for frolicking in and for senior dogs who may not be up for long walks, creates a safe & enriching environment for outdoor play time.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since I was five, and caring for pets has been a joyful part of my life ever since! I’ve had all kinds of furry, feathery, and scaly friends over the years, including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, turtles, fish, and even some exotic animals. Every pet has their own personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. What sets me apart? I’m gentle, playful, and full of energy; I’ll run around with your pup, snuggle your kitty, or keep your bunny entertained with enrichment activities. I’ve cared for puppies and kittens and know just how much extra love and patience they need during their early stages. I also understand the delicateness and special care required for senior pets and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and supported every step of the way. When your pet is with me, they’re not just being looked after; they’re being loved, spoiled, and treated like family. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or not-so-furry) friend! I am fairly flexible! Mon-Fridays are best but I can also do weekends when given enough notice. I can also do anytime of the day, my ideal hours are between 8am-8pm I currently have a pet bunny, whom I adore and care for with lots of love and intention. His routine includes fresh meals twice a day, constant access to clean water and hay, and daily interaction through enrichment activities. We bond over treats, gentle grooming sessions, and quality time together—whether it's cuddles at home or occasional visits to the park or beach for a change of scenery. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same level of patience, attentiveness, and respect. I make sure their space is clean, their needs are met, and that they feel safe, stimulated, and loved while you're away. I pay close attention to details; whether it's maintaining feeding schedules, administering medications, or simply tuning in to their moods and comfort levels. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels! It has ranged from a high energy husky puppy and to senior dog with special needs and lack of patience for other dogs. I volunteer weekly at the Pasadena Humane shelter and will be animal CPR and first aid mid April. I have a flexible work schedule and work from home at least once a week so I can easily schedule my work around pet care. I have two dog friendly cats and a very friendly dog who loves to play with dogs of all sizes. I can also crate your dog if needed.

About: As an owner of a big, powerful dog I know it can be difficult finding a walker who can handle their size and avoid unsafe situations. So if you have a large breed friend who requires a strong leader, I’d love to take them for a walk, safely! Freelance film maker with a lot of free time. I’m available during the week and on weekends. I have a dog but would walk your dog(s) separately. I have a large friendly dog named Rudi. I can board your dog as long as they can meet beforehand to make sure they get along. I have a large fenced in back yard as well as a good size, private porch area. We live in echo park with plenty of dog friendly areas and parks.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and horses all my life. From small to large dogs, farm and working animals, codependent and indépendant, etc. I work 8AM-5PM every Monday through Friday, with two alternating remote days. On weekends, I am completely available. This schedule has worked for clients and I am flexible to make things work. I prefer to stick to the schedule and routine that makes pets comfortable and adhere to those preferences. My goal is to have your pet not even know this is my job, but think there’s enough trust I must be family!

About: I currently have a a senior dog who is a resilient cancer survivor and a very sweet tripod boy. Our second dog is a rescue from South Korea who taught me a lot about training a puppy and has great energy. I will begin graduate school full time in the fall and I am looking for part time pet care to fit into my schedule when I will not be in class. I will care for pets in a client's home by respecting their property, adhering to any health or safety concerns for the animal, and making sure they are loved as if they were my own pet.

Echo Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
I’m so glad I found Laura to watch my two kitties! One of my cats can be tough to find a sitter for since he has a big personality and can get aggressive, but Laura was so patient and took things at a pace that made him feel comfortable. I loved seeing the photo updates of him calm and getting more relaxed with her each day. This was the first time I felt totally at ease leaving them with a sitter. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!
