About: I have hands-on experience caring for both puppies and senior pets, making me adaptable to different needs. I’m skilled with crate training, potty training, and teaching basic commands. I also care for my cat, giving me experience with a variety of pet temperaments. What sets me apart is my patient, positive-reinforcement approach, ensuring your pets feel safe and cared for. Whether it’s energetic playtime, puppy training, or gentle care for seniors, I’m here to provide a stress-free, loving environment for your furry family members! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I prioritize flexibility and availability. I am currently taking a break from my career and have no work commitments at this time. In my home, I create a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I have a pet-friendly space free from hazards, with secure areas for play and relaxation. For overnight stays or extended visits, I ensure that all necessary supplies—such as food, toys, and bedding—are provided, along with regular routines to minimize stress. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize their comfort and security by following your guidelines and routines closely. I ensure that doors and windows are secured, and I’m attentive to your pet’s needs, providing regular check-ins, exercise, and playtime. I also maintain a clean environment, including thorough litter box cleaning and sanitizing any areas your pet frequents. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities!

About: I've been taking care of my household pets since I was about 10 years old. I love animals of all types, and I am especially partial to big dogs. Currently my schedule is very open. I do theatre in the evening, but I can be up and taking care of pets as early as is necessary. I live in an apartment that has plenty of space for all types of pets. The complex includes a dog park and enough space to give pets plenty of exercise.

About: I have experience with dogs, cats, farm animals, birds, turtles, hamsters- and more! I have taken obedience and safety classes with two of my dogs. I have experience with babies and seniors. I am an empty nester and I do not currently have an outside job so I am flexible and have great availability. I love my own pets and want to add more hours of playing with, walking, and caring for animals. I am able to give as much time as your pet needs. I give daily walks, cuddles, as many monitored feedings and fresh water as they need, and generous play times. I also can clean up after animals.

About: With years of diverse pet care experience, I know how much trust and routine matter — and of course, a good tail wag or purr, too. I’ve been caring for pets like they’re family since I was young, and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I’ll also make sure your home stays just the way you left it — plants watered, things tidy, and pets happy. I’m flexible with days and hours. I’m currently a college student, however I only have class a couple times a week. We can work something out! With a calm, caring approach, I keep pets comfy, routines intact, and homes secure. Some things I find important are feeding, walking, playtime, plant watering, and cleaning — I care for your pets and your home like they’re my own while you’re away!

About: I have been taking care of animals professionally for about three years, and have experience in working in a shelter. I grew up with a plethora of animals at home, and have even raised 3 puppies to become the big dogs they are now, including having to administer medicine. I’ve taken care of a variety of animals in my time, such as rabbits, guinea pigs and fish, along with dogs and cats. I am available almost everyday and at most times during the day! I know having a peace of mind about your animals happiness and comfort while you’re traveling or at work is important. Whether you need someone to visit daily or just once, I am ready and able to take care of your precious animal. Please keep me in mind while deciding your pet care needs! I currently work a night time job, so my days are dedicated to taking care of animals while their human is away! I can even stop by while at work. No need to stress out your animal while you’re gone, I come to you. I enjoy caring for and playing with your pet just like you would. I follow your instructions to a T and will uphold your pets routine.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I walk and play with them all! I have a very spoiled golden doodle he's my best friend. I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with my furry friends! Also it gets me out and about all the time. I have a very large backyard that is fenced in and dog friendly! And every day will walk for atleast a mile so they get their exercise.

About: I grew up in a farm with all kinds of animals and doggies were my favorite! I started watching my friends’ fur babies and my passion for doggies has grown. I own an adorable mini winnie named Slinky, he barks at first but loves all his new buddies and is playful! I am certified in pet first aid/CPR and recently took the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Online Course. I’m a stay at home momma and homeschool my younger 2 children so I’m always home to be able to take care of your fur baby. I leave on occasions for grocery runs or appointments. If I have a doctor’s appointment I can leave your fur baby in the crate for about 2-3 hours and inform you ahead of time to make sure we both agree. Please let me know how long your baby can be left alone. I have a big fenced yard and a doggy door but if your fur baby doesn’t know how to use it, I will open and close our back door for them for potty breaks and running around. Our Slinky will play and keep yours great company. Your fur baby can join us for a walk and some playtime at our local park.

About: 7+ years caring for dogs, cats, and special needs pets — patient, gentle, and always treating your pets like my own. I’m comfortable with seniors, puppies, shy pets, and administering medication. At home, I share life with my “doggie brother” Scottie (a sweet, sociable dog) and my own “doggie son” Colby (a playful corgi puppy). Living with them has given me daily, hands-on experience meeting different needs and personalities. I adapt my care so every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Expect regular updates, photos, and a whole lot of tail wags (or purrs!). I’m available every day, including most evenings, and can work with a variety of schedules. Pet care is my main focus, so you can count on consistent, reliable service. I’m happy to accommodate both regular bookings and last-minute needs (for boarding or house sitting, I prefer 3–5 days’ notice when possible). I mainly serve the Tanque Verde area and nearby neighborhoods. My home is quiet, low-traffic, and pet-friendly — perfect for boarding. Message me with your dates or special requests, and I’ll do my best to make it work! Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. This helps reduce stress and make the transition smooth. Meet My Resident Pets: • Scottie (West Highland Terrier): Gentle with cats and friendly with all dogs. Experienced in living harmoniously with cats. Greets politely and gives space after an initial sniff. • Colby (Pembroke Welsh Corgi): A playful puppy with great adaptability, quick to settle after meeting new friends. Whether your pet loves cuddles or active play, they’ll get individualized attention and care — so you can travel with peace of mind.

“Professional pet sitter who goes above and beyond! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an attentive, loving, caregiver. Lamar was wonderful with Max (an older gent) he took him on long early walks when the weather was best. Made sure he was fed, had clean water, was comfortable, but most importantly of all that he was happy. I plan to use Lamar again for pet as well as house sitting. He also helped me with a few things around the house and I couldn’t be happier. I arrived to a happy, healthy Max and a spotless house. Will definitely rebook.”

About: Hello! My name is Brittany and I am a veterinary science graduate from the University of Arizona. I have years of veterinary medicine experience working with both exotic animals and companion animals. If your pet has any medication needs, I have plenty of experience and will notice immediately if any behavior or physical changes happen with your pet. I have 3 dogs of my own and 2 cockatoos! I currently work at an exotic animal specialty center along with volunteered at the Humane Society so I am very familiar with different breeds and temperaments. I only work 3 nights a week so I have plenty of free time that I spend with my animals and would love to have the opportunity to spend them with your furry, feathered, scaly, friend too! I am especially eager to watch all of your exotic animals from parrots, reptiles, small mammals, fish. I have experience knowing what humidity each reptile needs, toxins for parrots, and consistency of hay for small GI mammals. Message me to discuss rates for the exotics as it will be less than the rate for dogs and cats! I work only 2-3 nights a week, usually starting at about 7 or 8 pm on weekends, so I have a lot of free time. I understand what it means to leave your pet and go out of town. It is important to take all safety precautions and dedicate time to spend with them. Learning your animals wants and needs can help determine which activities are needed for their daily routine.
