“Whenever we go out of town, our two high maintenance cats are well taken care of by Crissy and Matt. They are always very responsive, send pictures and videos of the cats, and allow us to be at ease while traveling. Thank you!!!”

“This is the second time we’ve used Lulu. And we are so thankful she agreed and was available to look after our three pups. Lulu updated me on the dogs twice a day, took the dogs for a walk, played with them and followed all of the instructions I left for her. We are so lucky we have found her! I highly recommend.”

“Rachel did an amazing job with our dogs. We were able to enjoy our vacation, knowing she was taking such good care of them. We got daily updates, with pictures. She gladly brought in mail and watered plants for us. She is very accommodating and fit us in to her schedule. She was able to pop in for 3 afternoons visits before her time here started when our son wasn’t able to get here during the day to let them out. We will definitely be calling her for future jobs! She’s a gem!!”

“Amazing caretaker. She went above and beyond to ensure my pets were taken care of. My dog had a cough and she took him to the vet and kept me updated every step of the way. Would recommend her to any pet owner!”

“Erin was wonderful. She went above and beyond in every way, kept us informed, and took great care of the house. Our puppy was 6 months at the time of the vacation, and Erin did great with all of them. I am sure they will all be so happy to see her again!”

“Kate was amazing!! She checked in often and sent photos of my dogs daily! Dolly is usually timid of people but she was really comfortable with Kate! She stayed at my home and was with them majority of the time! They had constant care and attention. When I returned she started laundry for the bedding and towels, and left everything spotless! It doesn’t even look like she was here which is such a blessing to come back to a clean home! I would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!”

“Maryn is amazing! She took great care of my boy while I was away for the week. I appreciated her updates and communication while I was away and will definitely reach out again for her services in the future.”

“Was timely and present with the doggos! They’re like children so all you can hope is someone will show up and love them while you’re away like you would! Will definitely use her again :)”

“Can't say enough wonderful things about Lori. First and foremost, she is ALWAYS on time - a quality that seems small but I find very important. She was calm, kind and gentle with my rambunctious pups and knew exactly how to keep everybody calm and happy. I have mixed feelings recommending her because I want her all to myself.”

“Jenny stayed in our home taking care of our 2 dogs - one dog is recuperating from a leg injury and she did a great job ensuring our girl got her exercise and rest. Jenny is dependable and communicates regularly. Highly recommend!”

About: I am an animal lover with a variety of experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up in a loving home with multiple dogs and cats at all times. I am comfortable with both large and small dogs. I want to make sure you don't have to worry about the care your pets are receiving. I will follow all guidelines provided and make sure to give them all the love and attention they deserve. I've also volunteered with both the Humane Society and KC Pet Project. With KC Pet Project I would visit local PetCo's and take care of the cats for adoption daily. I am an active individual who loves to go on walks! If looking for boarding, Belle & Abbey (my babies) and my cat Phoebe will be present. If concerned, please let me know and we can discuss options. Please contact me today if your furry babies need some love and attention. I would love to help. I am currently a freelance worker, working from home, with plenty of time to spend with your fur-babies! My schedule is easily adjustable to meet your needs. Available 7 days a week. I am in a 1-story home with a fenced in yard where your dogs will feel right at home. Pets are allowed on the furniture, I have doggie-steps in the living room and bedroom for small dogs or dogs with joint issues. I do have 2 small dogs and 1 cat, if you're concerned about them getting along please let me know and we can discuss options.
“Another 10 star performance by Abby! There are very few people we would trust with our animals and our house for a week while we traveled overseas— Abby is at the top of the list! We received daily updates/photos and she took great care of our boys. Excellent communicator before and during her stay which gives us peace of mind. House was immaculate when we got home. Thank you Abby!”

“We recently had Melissa pet sit for our dog and two cats, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the care she provided. From start to finish, she was reliable, attentive, and clearly devoted to making sure our pets were happy, healthy, and well cared for. Melissa took our dog on frequent, regular walks and kept us updated with tons of adorable photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. One of our cats had an injury that required a little extra attention, and Melissa handled it with such care and sensitivity—we were truly grateful for the way she looked after him. Both cats were well-fed and comfortable, and we came home to find all three pets relaxed and content. Not only were the animals happy, but our house was absolutely immaculate when we returned—it’s clear that Melissa takes pride in every aspect of her work. We would highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like her own. If you want your pets to have the absolute best care while you’re away, Melissa is the one to call!”

“Deidre did a fantastic job of taking care of my dog Blaze and providing updates on how my pup was doing! This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous about the process. Deidre was available for a meet and greet prior to accepting the house sitting request, which definitely helped me get comfortable. She sent photos and videos of Blaze playing fetch to brighten my days away (work trip) and confirmed I had made it home on the last day of my trip.”

“Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of my dog. I came home to a happy boy, a clean place, and will definitely use Vanessa in the future. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sitter!”

“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

About: Hello! I have always had pets throughout my entire life, and currently have 2 very fluffy kitties! I have 5 years of childcare experience, 3 of which are in home caretaker/house manager. I enjoy taking care of littles, especially ones with fur! I am currently working part time, which gives me the flexibility to take on pet sitting gigs, most days of the week. I have a very trusty toyota camry as well to get me to where I need to go! I have two cats in my home, they are both girls and both think they are the queen of the house. I prioritize a healthy diet for them, as well as lots of play time to stimulate them and help them get the exercise they want and need.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them. As a student athlete, I’m very active, so I naturally bring a lot of energy to walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, some need structure and training, while others need calm, gentle care, especially seniors. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, handling larger or high-energy breeds, and making sure pets feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building trust. As a college student athlete, I keep a very structured schedule, which actually makes me reliable and consistent when it comes to pet care. I plan my days around responsibilities, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and given attention on time. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening care, I’m used to balancing multiple commitments and staying dependable. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, play, and any training habits they’re used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s environment, making sure everything stays clean, safe, and stress-free. I give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision, and I always keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands. I’m especially attentive to energy levels and behavior, whether that means getting a high-energy dog out for a long walk or just spending calm time with a more relaxed or older dog.
Eastern 49-63 pet parents share their Rover experiences
Maryn was so great, our dog had so much fun with her and got so much love, attention, exercise, and play time! She sent so many pictures which put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our trip knowing our dog was taken care of. Would definitely use Maryn again and definitely recommend her!

We have had Randy watch our puppy a few times now and we love him! He met her before their first sleepover and was very thorough with her intake so he knows all about her needs and our home. He also recommended we make a sitter cheat sheet which we have done and love, especially since she's a growing puppy and things are often changing. He always brings her a new little toy which she will proudly carry around and speak for days. He plays with her, walks her, loves on her, and let's her bask in the sunshine as much as her heart desires. He also fills out our dog log so we can keep track of all her activites and sends lots of photos so we don't miss her too much. We highly recommend Randy!

Kayma was AMAZING! She did a great job communicating before her stay and during the stay she sent lots of updates and pictures of Otis. My house looked as if she wasn’t there when I returned. I was able to relax during my time away because I knew my anxious dog was being well taken care of, thank you so much Kayma.

Jess was amazing! She took such great care of our pups over the weekend, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re always really nervous leaving them since they’re basically our children, but she immediately put us at ease with consistent updates and communication. Even when there was an unexpected hiccup with the door (completely out of her control), she handled everything calmly and professionally. We especially appreciated her being there for them during the storms, since they get so scared—knowing they had someone patient and comforting with them meant a lot. We’d absolutely trust her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.
This was my first time using Rover, and my first time leaving my kitties. I was blown away at how wonderful Ashley was! She was so attentive and wonderful with them. She did perfect with the insulin injections for Pedro and made sure he ate, sent me pictures and I swear my house was cleaner than when I left it! I highly recommend her. 🩵
