About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, of all shapes and sizes. I love all animals. I’ve grown up with hunting dogs, big dogs, farm animals, and cats. I am always willing to go for midday lunch walks or weekend check ins while you are out and about being social (in the Ankeny/Polk City area). My boyfriend works blue collar, so sometimes I have a lot of time to myself while he’s working, I’d love to fill in with walks at night or weekends in the Highland Park/Saylor/Beaverdale areas. Some nights he may even join if he’s home. We have a two dogs of our own that could join, pending your permission of course. I am always very cautious when going in for my furry friends for walks, making sure they are safe. I’m full of love and attention and energy to burn so I’d love a buddy. I’ve worked with highly trained dogs, and will honor any and all training your dogs follows.

About: We lost our beloved dog "Chester" in 2022 and our home has felt empty ever since. Both my husband & I have grown up with dogs & we loved playing, walking and cuddling w/Chester. The unconditional love he provided to our family was priceless. My husband & I are empty nesters as of last fall, 2023 & we are available to care and watch your dog on a weekday or weekend.. Your dog will be loved in our home as much as it is in your home. We will thoroughly enjoy spoiling it like it is our own pet! We live downtown Des Moines & will be able to walk your dog regularly to near by parks/Grays Lake. I like to know what the sleep/feeding schedule of your dog is, as well as any tricks they know, the time between bathroom breaks, and how the interact with other dogs.

About: I have 7 years of experience working with senior dogs who need a little extra care when it comes to medications and transportation. I am able to lift 140 lbs to help the forever puppies with powder sugar faces. I am currently between jobs after graduating and have plenty of time to go on “w.a.l.k’s” or play with pups! I have a lot of availability! I am very responsible when it comes to pet care and I am on call 24/7 for any pet needs. I keep a tight schedule for medications and have a keen eye for pill tricksters.

About: I'm excited to be there for your pet in whatever way you need. I have been pet and house sitting for years and will watch your animals with care 💕 I work downtown from 8:30 to 5 but I have flexibility when I take my lunch break. On Fridays, I have the option to work remote. I can beat assist with pet care before or after work and on weekends. I am able to do walks and check inside around the lunch hour. I can't offer to host pets at my home, but I'm happy to follow whatever guidelines clients set. I want to make sure your pets are comfortable and well cared for.

From helping stray pups at a rescue facility in Cusco, Peru, to caring for horses, hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish, and of course, cats and dogs, I've worked with animals big and small! Whether it’s belly rubs, long walks, or simply hanging out on the couch, I’ll care for your furry friend like they’re my own. I also have my own super sweet cat named Zürich (usually Zuzu, meow meow, mr. little baby Zuzu, or poopy boy), who is everything to me. Let’s connect! I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the care, play, and cuddles they deserve. My hours vary on the day. Monday-Wednesday, I work 9-4 with an hour lunch break. Thursday and Friday, I work 7-2 with an hour lunch break. I will be done before evening time and can also utilize my lunch time to meet with your furry friend. I do live in an apartment, so I will not be taking pets in at this time. I am available for walks, drops ins, or overnight stays.

About: I live and work downtown (full-time remote). I can host your pet overnight in my home; stay overnight in your home if needed. Pop-in visits to provide breaks, walks, feeding if you live within a reasonable distance. I can also provide day care services if needed. I do not have a crate but bringing your own crate is optional but not required. House broken/trained is preferred. I prefer to host 1 dog at a time. 2 dogs from the same household would be possible but prefer not to mix dogs from multiple households. ***House-sitting notice - I do have an 11lb Havanese puppy that would accompany me for overnight house-sitting assignments. He's house-trained and does not shed and very friendly with other dogs.*** I usually reply to requests within 10-20 min. If it's after 11 then the next morning. I work remote full-time Mon to Fri 8-5. Can do pop-in visits, walks and feeding as needed or on a set schedule that works best for your pet's current routine. Condo here and unfortunately do not have a yard but there are lots of green spaces near my condo at 10th and Mulberry. Space is over 1200 sq ft so plenty of room for your pet. I do have an 11 lb Havanese puppy that loves attention but is very smart and picks up on queues from other dogs. Shy and timid upon introduction and will play only if the other dog engages. Loves people and attention.

About: I've taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, whether that is from my neighbors or my various family members and friends' pets. I have been responsible for walking, feeding, bathing, giving medication to, and playing with pets. I've taken care of pets of many different temperaments and can plan accordingly to the pet's needs. I’m a college kid home for the summer and have a very open schedule. I’m available Monday through Sunday for drop in visits and walks! (: I have a dog myself that I rescued, and he experiences a lot of anxiety and reactiveness toward dogs. He is very weary of new people, especially men, so I'm very skilled in how to interact with anxious dogs.

About: I have in the past been in charge of letting the dog out when parents are on vacation, I've grown up with dogs most of my life, and really miss having them as part of my life. I've always loved dogs, they're just wonderful, and I always treat them just as wonderfully. I am always up for a little exercising (ergo, walks) if your pup is up for it. I love all dogs, big or small. They're all wonderful in my eyes. Just beware, I might spoil them just a little ;). Can't wait to spend the day with your fur baby! It might just be their best day ever, too. I'm always up for walks, playtime in the backyard, chill time watching tv with them, whatever the preference, you can count on me to take good care of them.
