“Jessica was great and Ginsburg had a lot of fun playing. Convenient location, great updates through the day from Jessica and easy to work out schedule options with my travel and variances. Jessica is a pleasure to work with”

“My dog had a great first daycare experience with Mackenzie and Anthony. He’s had issues with anxiety with sitters in the past, and did very well with them and their 2 dogs. I highly recommend.”

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time but my day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends are definitely doable as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! My 2 dogs are older and laid back. If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

“My first time using rover and Samantha was so great to work with. Easy to communicate with and my pup had the best day with her! He was well taken care of and enjoyed playing in her big back yard. Will absolutely use Samantha again!!”

“My sometimes anxious blue heeler had never done daycare before, and Savannah and her husband were so great with him! I will definitely reach out to them again if he needs daycare in the future.”

About: I live and work downtown (full-time remote). I can host your pet overnight in my home; stay overnight in your home if needed. Pop-in visits to provide breaks, walks, feeding. I can also provide day care services if needed. I do not have a crate but bringing your own crate is optional but not required. House broken/trained is preferred. I prefer to host 1 dog at a time. 2 dogs from the same household would be possible but prefer not to mix dogs from multiple households. I work remote full-time Mon to Fri 8-5. Can do pop-in visits, walks and feeding as needed or on a set schedule that works best for your pet's current routine Condo here and unfortunately do not have a yard but there are lots of green spaces near my condo at 10th and Mulberry. Space is over 1200 sq ft so plenty of room for your pet. I do have a small (Havanese) 8mos old puppy that loves attention but is very smart and picks up on queues from other dogs. Shy and timid upon introduction and will play only if the other dog engages. Loves people and attention.

“My Venus had an incredible day with two other frenchie pups! Miss Alice is so sweet and took excellent care of my baby girl while we visited Des Moines for the first time! Can't recommend her enough!”

About: Family has relied on me for all pet needs. I’ve helped with sitting, potty breaks, feeding and walking. Or even just to keep their fur babies company. I work remotely with the ability to adapt my schedule as needed for pet care. I would love to take care of your sweet baby! We have a fenced in backyard with a huge deck for sunbathing. We have 1 dog who would be a great playmate for your baby! We also have 3 children that love animals and would provide great companionship.

“Our 14 year old dog developed some issues that meant he couldn’t be alone while I was at work. He goes to Melanie’s a few days a week now. He loves it. We will continue to work with Melanie when we need pet care.”

“Katie is a fantastic sitter ! She was very patient with my pup ? it was his first time staying in a stranger’s home. When I came to pick him up he looked so happy and energetic! She sent me multiple updates with pictures throughout the day which eased my nerves and worries. I will be using her again!!!”

About: I believe that animals were put on this earth to show us how to love! The least we can do is return the favor ❤️ I work from home so I have all the time to show your pet love away from home! When I'm not working I have most evenings and weekends available to check in when they are at home! I have a Fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your pup company! I also have an XXL crate needed if that helps comfort them, so that they have their own space when needed!

“First time ever using this app and Lucia made it easy to book with her, nice and responsive! She sent me a video of my dog and that was comforting! Kona was happy and got to play her little heart out! Thank you so much!”

About: I have spent my entire life around animals, especially larger, older dogs. I am home full time while classes are online and am very flexible with sitting times. I am currently taking classes online for the summer, so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! I tend to be busier on the weekends but if you give enough time in advance I am pretty flexible. I live in an apartment complex, and don't have a yard, so animals will have to be leashed when outside. I do not have a lot of space, so smaller animals are preferred, especially for longer stays.

About: I grew up on a farm, caring for pets of all shapes and sizes! I've had many dogs over the years, from young to old and big to small. I am experienced with giving medication, baths, nail trims and love! I am very adaptable to your pets needs. For the summer, I work weekdays two hours a day with some volunteer work on the side. I have occasional shifts on my campus that may be longer but will know in advance if I am available that day or not to make sure the pet sitting does not overlap. Starting August 25th, I have classes that last 3-4 hours during the day Monday-Thursday. If your pet can wait that long for me to come back, I am available to book! I am still fully free Friday-Sunday. I am able to host pets in my apartment! I live in an upstairs apartment and spend most of my time there. I have a 360°camera installed to watch your pet if I have to spend any time away. My apartment complex has a spacious lawn that is entirely fenced in. In my clients home, I am extra careful to follow any house rules. In case of overnight caretaking, I am comfortable with any sleeping arrangements (couch etc.). My top priorities are your pup and your preferences!

About: Hello I have love animals as young as I can remember I would love to take care of your cat or dog I love walking outside I think it's very important that your dog gets lots of exercise they need to be stimulated mentally I would like to cuddle with your dog or cat, Don't hesitate to reach out to me My schedule is very flexible, I work night so I'm pretty much available during the day, I can also change my schedule to meet your 1st baby's needs I live near a trail so I can take your dog for lots of walks And I have a kennel they're more comfortable sleeping than one

About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time. I have 3 dogs of my own, and have had 3 previously to these as well. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.

About: It’s my belief that dogs are just the best companions in the whole world. They’re always so fun to spend time with, and they’re always there for you no matter what. I love spending time with them, training, them, watching them learn… really just anything that puts me next to a pup! I truly believe that dogs make the world a better place, which is why I’m committed to creating as many puppy smiles as possible. Making dogs happy is just one of the many ways that I like to give back, so being a sitter really is a dream come true for me. I’ve been a lifelong dog lover, but my dedication to pups doesn’t just end there! I have been a dog sitter and walker on Rover for 4 years now and have over 14+ years of experience as a dog owner or handler. I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything! I’ve learned so much in the process, and getting to bring happiness to loving pups is always such an amazing experience. Currently, I have a 6-year-old “Chi-Weenie” who is my life. I grew up with a large standard poodle, and I love pups of all shapes and sizes! I have experience with aggressive dogs, as well as dogs with difficult personalities. I know how to approach a nervous dog so that we can meet comfortably with treats and just turning my body sideways, no eye contact and a lot of patience. It’s all about making your pup as happy as can be! One of the best parts about me as a sitter is that I have a very open schedule, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pup. I am currently a contractor delivery driver, so my schedule can revolve around my dog walking and sitting. That means that I am free to spend as much time as possible with your pup to make them happy as can be, or work around unorthodox schedules. Whether that means spending time with me and my pup or just cruising out and about, we’ll make sure to have plenty of face time together so they feel right at home with me while you’re away. My number one goal is just providing excellent customer service, no matter what! To accomplish that, I believe that communication is of utmost importance. I keep a report card to keep track of anything worth mentioning on a daily basis including: feeding, behavior, and energy level—or anything else out of the ordinary. I’m happy to take detailed notes on whatever you need to feel that your pooch is happy and healthy. I also send pictures on a daily basis so you can see how much fun we’re having together! Lastly, you can be assured that your home will be cleaner than when you left it (if I’m taking care of your pup overnight at your home).

“Jaden was great w Rowlfy and his backyard was perfect for him to run around. Our pup is worn out and will sleep well tonight. Will book again!”

About: I have been taking on the responsibility of training and caring for my puppy for over three years! Through my efforts, my dog has undoubtedly developed a strong bond with me and has benefited from the loving care and attention. Caring for a dog also requires a great deal of responsibility, from feeding and exercising to providing medical care and attention. I am committed to meeting your furry friend needs. ❤️ I am currently working from home. With my flexible work schedule, I can walk your pet every week, or just drop in to check on them. I am able to stop by at your home to feed, play and walk your puppy! But let’s meet first to make sure your furry friend likes me.

About: I have had all sorts of pets since I can remember. Family and friends have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets to their expectations. An animal's health is always my biggest care, if there are any specific duties I need to perform, I will do it to the best of my ability. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your animals! I'm available for boarding on weekdays until 6pm and every other weekend. I have a partial fenced in yard, although I prefer when taking the pet outside to use the bathroom, I always have them on the leash to avoid incidents. When watching a pet at the clients home or my own, I always make sure the pet is comfortable and not over stimulated.
