Hi! I’m Kelsey 😊 I work full-time from home and live in the heart of Downtown Des Moines, just minutes from Gray’s Lake, the river trails, and the airport. I’ve spent my entire life around animals and currently share my home with Charlie, my Labrador mix, and Blue, my cat. I provide a calm, structured environment where pets receive individualized care, plenty of attention, and a routine tailored to their needs.

We had such a great experience and couldn’t recommend her enough! She took amazing care of our dog, and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands while we were away. Our dog is a very large breed, and she handled her with so much confidence and care. She kept us updated, was reliable, and it was obvious our girl was happy and comfortable with her. It gave us so much peace of mind, especially since this was our first time having someone watch her. We will absolutely be booking with her again! 🤍
Everything from start to finish was great! She took the time to ask any and all questions to learn about Diggs and his needs Sent plenty of pictures and videos throughout the day of them walking. Would definitely recommend and use again
Kelsey was amazing. We were in town for a sporting event and needed someone to take care of our dog after we checked out of the hotel. Kelsey communicated well and often, was flexible as the event timing changes, and made the care of our dog stress-free. He had so much fun with her! Would definitely recommend Kelsey!
Kelsey is very detail-oriented and works hard to make sure your dog has the best time they can. I got lots of updates, both before and during our boarding. Would recommend and will look to book again in the future.
Kelsey visited my two kitties while I was away one weekend. She followed all the instructions and communicated really well with me before and during her visits. Loui and Lola seemed to warm up to her quickly. Reliable and trustworthy. Will definitely book Kelsey again!

Schedule
Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone and receive regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I also have experience administering medications and caring for senior pets or pets with special needs. My work-from-home schedule allows me to provide attentive, individualized care and maintain a consistent routine for every pet. If your requested dates appear unavailable, please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I may occasionally have additional availability.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Because I work full-time from home, pets receive consistent supervision throughout the day and are rarely left alone. I care for a limited number of pets at a time to provide individualized attention and maintain a calm, low-stress environment. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, exercise, and sleep routines. My home is pet-friendly and pets have access to comfortable spaces to relax, nap, and decompress. Dogs are introduced gradually and supervised during interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

A typical day
Drop-Ins - Potty breaks, feeding, playtime, water refresh, and lots of attention. Dog Walks- Walks around your neighborhood to get your pup exercise and fresh air. Day Care/Boarding - Includes multiple potty breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, rest time, and constant supervision. You’ll get photo updates during your pet’s stay — and photos taken during services may be shared on my Rover or social media pages unless requested otherwise.
