About: i’ve have many types of breeds. i currently have two border collies and love working with animals. i can’t wait to meet yours, im excited it’s in my everyday routine , i have a very hyper breed so they are very active. i wake up and my dog is the first thing i take of , and i do the same throughout the day. i make sure she’s taken care of before other things. i do what is more comfortable for the dog , if they are hyper i’ll play with them until they are tired. if they are calm dogs i’ll feed them and make sure they are cared for either way.

About: I live in Southold and I am available for dog walking and dog/cat sitting during the day and overnight in the area. I have taken care of dogs for 7 families so far. I have watched small dogs as well as large dogs. I also have watched two cats. I have a cat at home :) For many of the dogs I watch I take them on walks ranging from 15 mins to an hour. I have done jobs where I check in on a pet/pets during the day to let them out or feed them, but I also do overnight care. I am pretty flexible and available, I am available anytime after 7 am for checking in on pets/walks/etc. During the summer I will be available for pet sitting in the Southold area. During the fall I will also be available in the Southampton area as well. I am available to stay overnight with cats or dogs in my clients home. I am also available to stop in during the day/night to feed and check in on/hangout with pets.

About: I had a dog since I was in 2nd grade, for around 15 years. I have experience in young puppy care and senior dog care. Just getting into the Rover business, but eager of learn and would love to help! So I’m currently a 3rd Resident Physician at the hospital, so I do have more time on weekends to do sit ins and walks. I miss having a dog and taking care of one so this is my way to give back! I also can do late night sit ins or walks after my shift which usually ends at 630pm. I have an apartment with a doggy park and a pet cleaning and bathing area. The doggy park is fenced with toys and water. I’m great at following instructions and will take great caution and care in others home.

About: I try to take parts of Cesar Milan's strategy with dogs specifically. Trying to not reward bad behavior. Making sure a pet can respect my boundaries. Currently have a dog walking client at Winding Brook Condominiums in Meriden. I’m there twice a day for 30 minute walks and play. I bought some balls for her so she can play. Have videos and lots of photos. I work flexible hours as an independent contractor so I make my own schedule. I am building my pet care business so I am signing up for a drone pilots license for pet recovery. I am also working on upgrading my vehicle to a minivan. I am offering pet sitting in your home until that can change to my home. I am needing different things done to my home before I can bring pets to my house.

About: I have spent 10+ years nurturing, fostering and loving pets of all shapes and sizes. Dogs, cats, parrots, guinea pigs, chinchillas, snakes - I've had them all! I am able to care for animals that need medication administered, as well as multiple visits a day due to my flexible schedule. I have recent puppy 'training' experience as I just hit the 6 month mark with my own pup and will gladly keep your pup well trained too! I work from home full time so my schedule is beyond flexible! I have my own vehicle with ample space for pets if transport is needed. I am often available last minute - because I know things pop up! About: Socialized dogs will absolutely have a great time staying with me as we spend time at the dog park and make new friends! High energy pups are my favorite as I'm a long distance runner and can handle extended walks/runs with your buddy. I've had 3 years experience at dog kennels and was responsible for monitoring group play of up to 20 dogs in one yard. Puppy group play was my favorite and most intensive role as I was trained to recognize dog body language and maintain safety when pups were getting too ruff. During my time in kennels, I also was able to provide scheduled feedings and administer oral medications daily. My family owns an elderly dog with arthritis, and during cold months I am willing to carry dogs up/down stairs to avoid slips on snow/ice. During a long-term stay I will gladly spend time with your pooch for walks, play time and socializing, naps, massages, and feedings. Observing dog behavior during each of these parts of our day is important to me. This allows me have a detailed report of your pet's stay when you return. Keeping track of any behavioral, digestive, or sleep-related issues is always made a top priority for my guests. I typically begin my day with walking any dogs that are staying overnight with me, could be at the dog park, then feeding them, and then heading out for 1-2 hours to walk my regular clients on weekdays. With winter approaching, we may need to minimize time spent on walks during heavy snow/rain. However, larger breeds who can handle snow days are encouraged to stay with me for extended outdoor play. It's very important to me to establish trust with new dogs at their own pace. This is easily done by giving the typical commands and rewarding with treats, as well as affirming trust on leashed walks. In my apartment building there are other dogs who live on my floor, and I'm very vigilant about who is in the hallway or stairwells when I am taking a dog outside. Within my apartment unit, your pet can freely relax on the couch or large rugs I have. Smaller breeds are also welcome to relax on my bed along with me when its time to sleep. I do my best to keep dogs calm and like to be hands on with lots of belly rubs and ear scratching as most dogs seem to really enjoy that. Its also important to me to clean my apartment before and after I have pets staying overnight.
