Laura and her family turned out to be the perfect people and place. With a beautiful, safe home out in the country, a deck and fenced in yard where he could play, a open-plan house where he was visible at all times, Laura’s place was perfect. And the bonus: three little girls who adored him and lavished attention upon him, much to his delight. Laura, herself, was wonderful, caring, professional, delightful. She took him on long walks which he loved, texted me photos and updates on this progress during the stay, saw to his every need and even made some recommendations to me as to feeding bowls which might slow his eating down (he snarfs up his food in seconds!). I was afraid he wouldn’t want to come home. But I think he knows he can go back and stay in this home away from home which he will definitely be doing the next time I need to go away without him. I can’t tell you the peace of mind that all this brought me, knowing that he was happy and being well-cared-for and loved.”

About: I've taken care of animals since I was very little. I used to live on a farm and had responsibilities for feeding, walking, and caring for various animals. I am currently a full time online student in college and a stay at home mom with my 1 year old, therefore, I am free all day to care for your cats or your dogs! I take my dog for a walk around my quiet neighborhood in the evenings! She is a medium size dog with lots of energy! I also have 4 rescue cats that enjoy laying around the house being lazy. I have a fenced in backyard that is fairly large so your pups can get the zoomies and have a ton of space! I was a bit nervous to be her first Rover client, but felt immediate comfort on the meet and greet. She and her delightful, well-behaved pup, Tito, were exemplary hosts. She took all my concerns in stride and made sure that my puppy had a safe, enriching and engaging experience. She sent lots of photos documenting his play and nap time with his new buddy. About: Hi, My name is Brooke I go by Seven and my entire life has been surrounded by animals, from catching frogs, lizards, feeding the squirrels and always just having that touch even with the animals that don't trust or care for most humans. I have that special something. I started walking the whole neighborhoods dogs when i was 9 years old, i would walk up to 5 at a time. At the age of 13 i started volunteering for an animal rescue fostering dogs and cats. I was the girl growing up all my friends would bring stray or lost animals too. 16 i started working as a vet assistant, at 18 working a 150 dog ranch/doggie daycare and boarding facility to then move on into my early twenties working a place in Seattle called Dogwood Play Park, the first of its kind. It was an indoor outdoor 21 plus play park and daycare. Owners could bring their dogs to play while they had a beer and got to know other dog lovers, I built many beautiful dog... and people friendships there. Leo has hands-on experience with animal shelters, and I have biological based experience with both nutritional needs and animal anatomy, and we both can provide basic training. I currently work full time however my schedule allows me to still care for your puppies! The most amount of time I’ll be away at a time is 5-6 hours. I’m happy to chat about my schedule for the week you need me. I have 3 dogs who need much attention, I make sure by the end of the night they are out of energy by playing with them and running around outside. They love getting treats after dinner too and I’m sure your puppies will be just like mine, out of energy and happy!

I have a soft spot for dachshunds, but I truly love all dogs. I am a teacher, so I have a flexible schedule during the summer. I have a lot of availability at night since I work part time during summer days and make my own schedule. I have a very clean home that is very pet friendly, since I have three dogs of my own - a dachshund, a black lab mix, and a cattle dog corgi mix. I can easily crate your dog or contain them in a room (included a gated kitchen) if requested. I also have two gated decks that my dogs love to sunbath on, a nice backyard, and sidewalks around my house for walks.

About: I’m pretty much a full-time stay-at-home dog mom to my two large dogs, so caring for dogs is already a huge part of my everyday life! I’ve spent months working on training with my own dogs and have lots of hands-on experience with different behaviors, routines, and personalities. I have a fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and two dogs of my own for company. I always prioritize safe introductions and will make sure your dog is comfortable with mine before their stay. Pets are welcome to make themselves at home, and I can easily separate or crate dogs when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, and care routine as closely as possible and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
