About: I’m a CTRS and I have trained my dogs one of which is a a therapy dog that at times I will take to work. I normally do at least 15 minutes of training with my pups! I’m off Sunday Monday and Tuesday fully, and my partner is off Saturday. My day starts off walking my dogs then letting them outside to play. Your dog would be apart of that. I have a fenced backyard and a bunch of toys. The day starts off going for a walk around the block then I let the dogs run outside in the back. After that they come inside to relax and eat breakfast. I let them play in the house and sometimes chill out with their bone always supervised. 😊
“Alyssa was fantastic with my dog Emmy! From the moment she greeter her at the door you could tell Alyssa treats all dogs like they are her own, with lots of love and care. Alyssa provided consistent updates while my dog boarded with her for a few days. Her communication was positive and encouraging to know that while I was traveling my dog was safe and happy! Will confidently be booking Alyssa for boarding in the future.”

About: Your pet is not a guest in our house, it’s a loved family member for life! We individually your pet’s care based on its preferences and habits. I am a pet lover working from home who loves the company and snuggles. My kids are crazy about dogs and love them dearly also. We live in a beautiful home with a big fenced in yard but do take the dog(s) out daily to explore in the woods and have fun!
“Brittany definitely made us feel like we were leaving our pet in a well loved home! She checked in to send pictures often and even helped out with transportation after we'd had a long trip back home with a baby! Our dog has been exhausted since coming home, so we know she had a great time playing. We will not hesitate to reach out again when we have to go away, we know our pet will be safe, happy, and cared for ☺️”

“Caitlin boarded our dog Frodo for a week, it was our first time leaving our dog with anyone. We couldn't be more pleased with the care Frodo receive from the family and the communication pictures and videos were great as well ! We highly recommend Caitlin and her family for pet care. We look forward to using them again.”

“Monica was excellent! Truley went above and beyond to keep us informed of how our pup was doing and make sure he had as good a stay as possible with her and her family. Thanks so much for taking such good care of Maui while we were away!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12! I love animals like my own children, im super loving and love to give them love and cuddles! I currently do work part time in retail! So I do have time to also care for animals and give them proper love and care. “Erin has taken care of our dog multiple times, and we have never had any problems. Our dog is always excited to see her, and we never worry when she is with Erin. We will definitely book again with her.”

“Shekeyla was an amazing caretaker for our two dogs! She was very accommodating to our last minute changes to the plan, and very understanding of our dog’s needs and personalities! We felt very reassured and fortunate to have found Shekeyla just in time for a planned trip, and so appreciated the updates and pictures we got along the way. Absolutely would recommend Shekeyla to anyone! Thank you again!! 💜”

“My pups loved staying with Lindsey. She really welcomed them into her home and family, they almost didn’t recognize me when I picked them up ? and she was so accommodating and patient with my chaotic life on the last day of the reservation.”

“Sarah was amazing! From the beginning, she was very responsive to all of our questions about the booking. Our dog tends to be shy and can sometimes be aggressive with other dogs, but Sarah made it work, and our dog got along with hers right away. She sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. Our dog was very happy during her stay! We will definitely book with Sarah again and highly recommend her as a dog sitter.”

Amy is absolutely amazing! This is the second time I’ve trusted her with Toby, and he truly gets his own little vacation at her house. She kept me updated with the best photos, and she even sent us home with a priceless, handmade paw-print painting from Toby. If you want peace of mind and top-notch care, do not hesitate to give Amy a call—she is simply the best!"

Shekeyla and her family loved our two pups while we were away on vacation, they showed amazing care and attention to them, walking, feeding, sleeping arrangements, all day attention. We received photos and videos and updates daily. You couldn't ask for more from one of the top rated rover sitters in our area. We were very grateful and would 100% book again. 🐶 🐶

I booked a trip last minute - Darlene was extremely accommodating with timing and took great care of our dog Bear! She took amazing pictures, had a yard for the dog to play in, and made me feel reassured about leaving our dog in her care. I will definitely rebook if I am back in the area!

Karen truly went above and beyond in caring for Louie while I was away. Her thoughtful gestures, like sending frequent pictures, not only showed her dedication but also provided me with peace of mind. It’s heartwarming to know that she treated Louie with such love and attention, making sure he felt safe and happy in my absence. Her kindness speaks volumes about her character and how much she genuinely cares for both human and furry!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
