“I am so grateful and appreciative of Sandra‘s loving care of Lulu while I was gone for 13 days. Sandra and her husband John invited Lulu into their home and treated her as though she was theirs!”

“Allison was great to work with from our first contact with her – super responsive and organized. Our dog has a very specific medication schedule that Allison was able to accommodate, and we really appreciated the care she took in setting that up. We got updates while we were away, with pictures of our little guy enjoying lots of attention from the whole family! It was a great experience, and we have already booked a return stay. We would definitely recommend Allison.”

“We can't tell you how very grateful we are to have found Kristin on Rover. This was so much more than simply a safe and healthy boarding experience! She (and Mark!) engaged our Blake in daily life like he was their own. The frequent notes and photos let us know he was happy and content, not to mention thrilled to be with other dogs! He really had a great time! To say "highly recommend!" is truly an understatement. Thank you Kristin!”

“Karen truly went above and beyond in caring for Louie while I was away. Her thoughtful gestures, like sending frequent pictures, not only showed her dedication but also provided me with peace of mind. It’s heartwarming to know that she treated Louie with such love and attention, making sure he felt safe and happy in my absence. Her kindness speaks volumes about her character and how much she genuinely cares for both human and furry!”

About: I have taken care of family pets for approximately 8 years. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your pet as my own. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to play with your fur baby as well as keep to any desired schedules. I have a fenced yard with a friendly dog that will love to keep your fur baby company. I can also crate your dog if that’s preferred.
“Elliott took excellent care of my golden retriever. He responded promptly to all communications, sent me regular updates and photos, and even let her sleep on his bed! He was kind and understanding when I had to shorten my dogs’ stay due to a family emergency.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and genuinely love being around animals. I currently have two golden retrievers and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I have experience watching both dogs and cats for others and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet like family — honestly, I like animals more than humans. I work full time, but I’m only a couple minutes from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m able to come home during the day when needed and can also work remotely at times, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play and two friendly dogs to help keep your fur baby company if they enjoy socializing. I can easily crate your dog if needed and am comfortable caring for animals of all breeds and sizes. Pets are welcome on the furniture and bed because we believe they deserve to feel at home and loved while you’re away. My husband and I both have so much love to give, and we’re always happy to provide cuddles, attention, and companionship if your pet enjoys affection.
“Saktah did a great job taking care of my elderly and rather unfriendly kitty, Koshka, for two weeks while I was vacationing. She was very professional, organized, and caring, kept me updated on how my kitty was adjusting, and showed genuine affection and concern for her. She's driven to get things right and wants your pet to be as comfortable as they can be while you're gone. So if you (like me) have a pet that needs extra love and care, and you'd like to relax during your vacation knowing they're in good hands, go with Saktah. She's got you covered.”
“Tricia was amazing and I cannot thank her enough! We left our dog Evie with her for 4 days and she had a blast! She sent pictures and videos throughout our time away and it definitely helped ease the pain of missing our girl! When we picked her up, she was happy, excited and very well cared for and you could tell she had the best time. Tricia is the best and I will absolutely be leaving my girl with her any time we go away from now on.”

“Charisma was amazing! Buck clearly loved her and was so comfortable the entire time. She kept me updated with daily photos, which I really appreciated, and her communication was great throughout. What stood out most was her ability to problem-solve—she handled small issues confidently and kept me informed without making anything stressful.”

“Riley did drop in visits for my 2 cats Beans and Bear while I was on vacation for 2 weeks and she is amazing! The cats warmed up to her very quickly and looked comfortable from pictures without me for so long. Riley was super easy to communicate with before and during my vacation. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“Anna is absolutely amazing! I was so nervous to hire a “stranger” last minute for my trip but Anna made everything soooo stress free!!! She took perfect care of my pup, sent daily updates & was easily accessible via message! Anna is the best of the best!! ♥️♥️ so happy she is no longer a stranger !”

“I was lucky to find this wonderful family right before heading out on vacation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. From the very start, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were reliable and stuck to the agreed schedule, which I truly appreciated. My dog a 5 month old Standard Poodle who’s a giant ball of mischief connected with them right away. It’s clear they have tons of experience and, most importantly, a genuine love for animals. I had originally booked someone else who canceled last minute with a silly excuse… but honestly, I’m glad it happened because it led me to the right people. They deserve all the stars. Highly recommend!”

“Jillian always takes such good care of our Peanut! She gives great updates and photos of our sweet girl when we are away and makes sure she is cared for, would recommend her highly to everyone!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats(only a couple) since I was a kid. My friends, family, and nanny families knew they had someone they could trust to take care of and love their fur baby like it was mine. I have lived with a dog my entire life-all rescues(Golden Retriever, Pitty Mixes, King Charles Spaniel, Rotty Mix, Lab Mixes, Great Dane…) Our current fur baby Midnight is a senior Lab Pitty mix. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medication, feeding, bathing, walking, cleaning up after, and transporting your dog. I have less experience with cats, but have house sat several cats-making sure to follow their feeding schedule and cleaning out their litter box. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked with children 6 weeks to 5 years old for over 12 years. Which means I have lots of patience, love, and understanding. I have been lucky to be able to stay home with our daughter the last five years. But I am ready to make my way back into part-time work. I believes pets are our family and I will treat yours like mine. It would be a honor to help care for and love on them. I am currently a stay at home mom. My daughter is in preschool three days a week and starting kindergarten in the fall. So I have flexibility in my schedule. At the moment I am available Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 9am-12:30pm, and flexible Thursdays and weekends. I can do drop ins, hangout time, playtime, walks, and lots of snuggles and pets. At the moment I am not able to board any dogs or cats. My sweet boy was attacked in his foster home and still learning to trust other dogs again. I am comfortable come to your house to care for your pets.

“When I had my meet-up with Andrea, I sensed that she was exactly who I needed when leaving my cats for a week with a stranger for the first time. Although Max and Zoey usually hide from strangers/family/friends, Andrea sent me pictures of both of them! She also rinsed every can and pouch, and recycled them. Very tidy! Such an easy experience for me and I will utilize Andrea as often as needed if she is available.”

“Jessiana was absolutely fantastic. She took great care of my babies. I have a hermit cat that takes a long time to warm up to people. I even said not to be concerned if you never see him. He started to come out within a few days and that is huge. I always worry about my diabetic cat when I go away because he his elderly. She took absolutely fantastic care of him. I am very grateful for her care.”

“Amazing experience! Paul was awesome with communicating and sending regular updates/pictures! She was very well taken care of while she stayed with him and his family in their home. You can tell Paul is an experienced dog professional and I felt at ease my entire vacation! He pooped my 3.5 year old girl out! When I picked her up she was excited to see me but when we got home she laid on the couch and started to snore!! Her days were filled with adventures! I wholeheartedly recommend Paul. Your dog will be in good hands :)”

“Sylvia is an amazing dog sitter! I used her services for two days, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She and her family are incredibly kind, welcoming, and caring. They treated Luna like she was part of the family, and it truly gave me peace of mind while I was away. The best part? Luna had so much fun that she didn't even want to come home! 🥹🐾❤️ I highly recommend Sylvia to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy, and attentive dog sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Anna is a wonderful doggy care taker! Our two pups were very happy and she sent lots of pictures of them cuddling and hanging out just as if they were at our own home, not somewhere new! This was our first time using doggy day care for one of our dogs who we recently rescued so we were nervous but we couldn't have found a better person to make them feel at peace. Definitely recommend and will be requesting her in the future!”

“Angie was fantastic! I needed a last minute day care sitter for my dog while I had an event in the city near by, and she was able to accommodate my early morning pick ups/late night drop offs, and was even able to do it herself since I didn’t have a vehicle. I got constant updates, and my dog was super happy and excited to see angie each morning! Highly recommend!”
“Keith and Ashley were both extremely kind, informative and accommodating. This was my first time using Rover so I was grateful to find someone who could talk me through the process. Their questions on his care were very thoughtful and showed Keith and Ashley truly care about the animals that will be in their home. I had no worries leaving my dog with them, and he was wagging his tail as soon as I pulled up to their house for his second visit!”

“This was my first time booking with Vassu. Vassu was wonderful with my dog, Maddie. Maddie enjoyed her large fenced in yard, including discovering her dog door. Maddie was also spoiled with walks, dog toys, and the company of Vassu's dog Ninja. Vassu shared pictures with me through out Maddie's stay. Vassu was professional and made my first time experience with the Rover App a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely use Vassu in the future. Maddie and I thank Vassu, Ninja, and her family for all the love you gave her while she stayed.”

“Russ and Janet were delightful! They took very good care of Jack. And, they were so hospitable I felt like we had made new friends. The conversation was very nice 😊”

“We found ourselves in Mexico with no one to watch our dog on our return day. We could have called a few different friends to let our dog out a few times but no one could take him from 8:30am-9:30pm. We were hesitant to book someone we’d never met before but finally just did it. What an incredible experience. Received photos and videos all day. Thank you SO much for treating Porter like one of your own!”

“Adam and his family were wonderful with our pup. It was apparent that they had a love for animals. We received photos and updates throughout the day, giving us peace of mind that she was well taken care of. We were able to enjoy our day without worry. We can’t thank them enough!”

“Although it was my pup’s first time & she was super anxious, Allison was very patient with her & made her feel comfortable during her visit. She sends frequent updates & is very pleasant to talk to. Definitely recommend!”

About: I am an elementary physical education teacher who plays a lot of sports and loves to hang out with friends and family. I love playing and taking care of dogs. I love to run with dogs and play with them in the yard or at parks and see the smile on their face when they are playing with their toys! “Sarah is very attentive to my dog! She has made her very welcome and my dog has adjusted very well. I am very glad to have a safe and comfortable place to leave my dog while I am at work. Sarah is wonderful!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.
“We have loved working with Tricia! Very flexible, understanding, and affordable. She went the extra mile for our senior dog. Can’t wait to book the next visit for our dog!”

In a client’s home, I do my best to maintain the pet’s normal routine so they feel secure and stress-free while their owner is away. “Paul is a wonderful addition to my dog’s routine! I was scrambling to figure out what to do on my 12 hour days with my newly adopted rescue female pit mix when classes started this Fall. After reviewing a few profiles, Paul’s really stuck out as someone with both passion and genuine knowledge about dogs/dog behavior. I asked him to come meet my dog before we officially booked to ensure that she reacted well to him. Within the first few minutes, my dog was on her back requesting belly rubs. Needless to say, they hit it off! I feel very comfortable with Paul and SO pleased with how happy my dog looks in the pictures I get from their weekly walks. Even when she refuses to go outside in the rain, he spends time hanging out with her so she still gets some attention. I couldn’t be more appreciative and I’m sure my dog would 100% agree!”

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life. Dogs are deeply important to me as I see them for the intelligent emotional beings they are. They deserve all the love, attention, and nourishment from us and that is what I strive to provide. You can be assured that your pet will be treated positively and cared for preciously. Every pet in my care is treated with love like my very own fur baby. I enjoy learning about every animal's personality and quirks. I have house-trained multiple puppies. I currently have a 5yr old Golden-doodle, Pretzel, who loves making new friends. I work from home and I am generally available all day to be with pets. I enjoy daily walks and/or jogs with a pet that benefits from the activity. For the lovey-dovey pets, they are most welcome to accompany me right on my lap or in a cozy bed next to my desk as I work. My home will be just like a home away from home for your pet. I will stick to your plans for your pet and try to go above expectations over the time you trust me with your furbaby.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I've cared for all types of dogs from dachshunds to pitbulls; toy poodles to great danes. No dog is too excitable or too strong to handle. I am an active person and will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise. My husband and I like to make sure all pups end the day happy and tired. With a large yard on a quiet street, you pet will feel right at home here. I work from home every day aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a lenient job that I can walk away from when needed. I can take the dog out at any time of day, and have a long lunch break for walks, and plenty of time in the evening for play. I've sat many pets in their own home, and have been able to learn how they behave in their own environment and adapt accordingly. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it. I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my deep dedication to providing personalized care tailored to each pet's needs. I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra attention and patience. I excel at establishing a safe, nurturing environment that helps pets feel comfortable and loved in their owners' absence. Beyond standard pet care, I bring exceptional attention to detail, ensuring pets maintain their routines, whether it's administering medication, feeding on a precise schedule, or providing stimulating activities to keep them happy and healthy. What truly makes my services unique is that I view pet care as not just a job but an opportunity to serve the community. As a mother of two teenagers, I involve my children in learning how to responsibly care for animals under my guidance. This helps them understand the value of compassion, empathy, and giving back to others by treating pets with the same love and respect we would our own family members. Together, we aim to provide peace of mind to pet owners by treating their furry family members as our own. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily and weekly routine. As someone who juggles multiple responsibilities, I prioritize creating a structured schedule that allows me to provide attentive, consistent care to the pets I look after. Each day, I plan my tasks around the specific needs of the pets in my care, ensuring their feeding, walks, playtime, and any special requirements—like medication or grooming—are handled on time. My flexibility and time-management skills allow me to accommodate even last-minute requests, providing peace of mind to pet owners with busy lives. Incorporating pet care into my routine has also been an invaluable way to teach my children about responsibility and compassion. They often assist me with simple tasks under my supervision, giving them a sense of community involvement while allowing me to maintain a high standard of care for each pet. This integration of pet care into my daily life isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a passion that aligns perfectly with my desire to make a positive impact on both pets and their owners. Caring for pets in their own homes is a responsibility I take very seriously. I strive to provide a seamless experience that maintains the pet’s usual routine and ensures their comfort and safety in a familiar environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I begin by thoroughly understanding their specific needs, including feeding schedules, exercise preferences, playtime activities, and any medical or behavioral requirements. I ensure that every detail is followed precisely to keep pets happy and stress-free. During each visit, I prioritize interactive care, whether that’s engaging in their favorite games, taking them for walks, or simply providing companionship. For pets requiring additional attention, such as seniors or those with special needs, I bring patience and care to ensure they remain calm and comfortable. I also treat my clients’ homes with the utmost respect. I maintain a clean and organized space, follow any provided instructions, and ensure the home is secure when I leave. My goal is to not only care for the pets but also provide peace of mind to their owners, knowing their furry family members and home are in trusted hands.

I tailor my care to each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level, whether in my home or a client’s home. In my home, pets are treated like family—given a calm, safe environment with structured feeding times, play, enrichment, and plenty of affection and supervision. I maintain a clean space and keep their routine as close to home as possible to reduce stress. In a client’s home, I focus on consistency and respect for the pet’s familiar environment. I follow detailed care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, litter or yard maintenance, exercise, and companionship. I also provide regular updates for peace of mind. With over 30 years of experience, my approach is always patient, attentive, and rooted in genuine love for animals, ensuring they feel secure and cared for at all times.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. I am used to recognizing and responding to their needs and treating them with the utmost care and affection. I have experience with walking my own dogs, one of which was a large dog and the other is small, so I know what to expect when walking a dog of any size. I also know to be very vigilant while on dog walks and to be cautious of other dogs, when I take my own dogs on walks I avoid any interaction between them and other dogs we may see on our route because you just never know the temperament of another persons dog. I am a college student currently on summer break so my schedule is very open, which means I have ample time to help your pups get their steps in! I am available Monday-Friday from 11am- 3pm to take your furry friends on walks. I will care for your fur baby like my own during our walks. I am extremely attentive and will keep your pup from eating random things on the ground, keep them away from cars and anything else that could pose as danger.
About: I have grown up with dogs and I have trained my grandmas dog before and I took a vet tech class and learned about training dogs as well I am currently working part time at stop and shop but I always have one or two days off and am free to spend overnights at your home:) I have a fenced in backyard and lots of toys in my backyard and have two wonderful fur babies of my own in my home their names are Lola and Harry
About: As someone who has grown up always having dogs and cats, I know how important it is to have someone who is comfortable and loves being around animals to take care of them. I have been dog sitting family friends’s dogs and pets since I was 19. I work Monday-Friday on a 9-3:30 schedule. I am available before work and after 3:30 during the week. During the summer I will have more availability. I think it’s important to build trust with animals by providing them the space they need, especially when you’re someone new to them. I care for my own pets by spending quality time with them by taking them on walks (dogs, or even cats if that’s what you are looking for too!) and with my own pets, giving them lots of love and affection and an occasional treat (or 2.)

“Summer was lovely to communicate with and sent a lot of photos of Raven, which I loved ! Raven was super pooped when I picked her up so I know she had a lot of exercise too.”

“I am so grateful and appreciative of Sandra‘s loving care of Lulu while I was gone for 13 days. Lulu has a seizure disorder and Sandra was amazing with giving her medication and keeping me updated every day with her status and sending pictures of how well loved and cared for she was.

“Austin was fantastic about communicating both before and during our dog’s stay. He was great with her medications and making sure she was taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about her. She was one of the family while she was there. She’ll definitely be back”

“Morgan was super helpful when I needed a sitter on my road trip! She was so good with Molly and helped out extra since Molly wasn’t feeling the best on my trip and eating irregularly”

“A safe, loving place to leave our pup! They take such good care of our dog, and Sophie seems right at home with them and their own two pups. We love having this wonderful option so close to home.”

“Heather sent photos every day and videos so I knew my dogs were enjoying themselves. Beautiful fenced in yard made play time fun and safe. Quick communication, easy drop up, and willing to change pick up time. I would recommend her for all dog parents!”

“First time using Rover and had a great experience with Keith & Ashley. Had last minute travel plans come up and they were very accommodating and kept me updated and in the loop all weekend. My dog is anxious and has some separation anxiety and they made him feel right at home.”

“Amazing!!! Kept me informed the entire time I was away. Sent me pics of Naz and updated me on how he was doing. How he was sleeping and eating. Even down to when he would go outside. I’d recommend 1,000%”

About: I have taken care of family pets for approximately 8 years. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your pet as my own.

“Paul took excellent care of my dog Pierre while I was away for 4 days. Pierre became a member of the family, eating, sleeping, hiking, playing and just hanging out. I was very reassured to see how excited & happy Pierre became when Paul arrived to pick him up. Pierre was a shelter dog, and has struggled with anxiety, so this was momentous! I will certainly use Paul again through Rover for any other services I need!”

About: Animals have been at the center of my life since childhood. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals of all kinds is truly in my roots. I was a devoted dog mom for 13 years to my late dachshund, Boston and currently have a big, friendly rescue dog who’s been by my side for 4 years, a beautiful mix of Blue Tick Coonhound, American Foxhound, Lab, Bully, German Shepherd, and etc. or as I like to call her a Supermutt 🩷 Over the years I’ve rescued dogs and cats off the streets, and I’m constantly learning everything I can about animal health, behavior, and care. Friends, family, and neighbors have always turned to me when they need someone they can truly trust with their pets. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and genuine love. I work full time during the week and am available to take in pets from Friday through Monday, giving your fur baby a full weekend of dedicated love and attention. I’m present and engaged during my time at home, so your pet won’t just be waiting around they’ll be played with, walked, and genuinely cared for. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I have a partially fenced yard and a secure ground-anchored long lead for supervised outdoor time, so dogs can enjoy fresh air safely. I also live right next to a large park with trails, making it easy to get in enriching walks and outdoor adventures. My own dog Khaleesi is friendly and social with other dogs, so boarded pets will have a calm, welcoming companion. I treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own, your pet will feel right at home.

Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing near by, we’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

“Emily and Nick were excellent hosts. Their confidence, friendliness, flexibility and clear communication, combined with their expansive fenced-in yard and two (sometimes three) good-natured resident dogs made them ideal hosts for my pit-mix Herbert. Their house feels like a cozy little animal community. The good company and toys made the separation easy for Herbert. Emily and Nick were willing to manage Herb's dietary needs, and cleaned everything beautifully before returning it to me. I will definitely be booking with them again!”
