About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I know how to handle more energetic or anxious animals and can read animals behaviors very well. I have worked at multiple veterinary clinics through internships as a vet assistant. I now work at an animal shelter as a part of the medical team + animal care team. Due to this I am able to administer any medication or care to your pet. I work 5 days a week but only for around 6 hours per shift so the rest of the day I can spend with your animal and caring for them :) I have a very large yard, not fenced but I will walk your animal around it and spend time with them outside (leashed) so they get lots of wxercise and enrichment. I have multiple rooms in which your animal can roam so they don’t feel trapped + toys. Your pet will get lots of play time, cuddles, and attention based on their needs!

About: I have had to take care of all types of dogs. Small, large, quiet, rowdy, shy, excited, sweet, a bit aggressive, handled it all! Even if I can't handle extremely young puppies just yet, I can assure you that I will always do my best to play, feed, walk, treat, and anything else that your dog needs to be healthy and comfortable. I'm a college student taking classes around lunch time (10-1, depending on the day), but all that extra time can go to your animals! Plus, I don't normally have anything on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, so if your animals need constant attention those days are perfect! Whatever care your dog needs in your home, I am happy to provide. I listen to every instruction and will be sure to do the most I can so that your pet is happy, healthy, and safe in whatever confines you have for them.

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and I can appreciate every breed. They all deserve love and compassion, and I've recently made room for cats, as well. Pets are family members, so I don't mind lending a hand for family! I have two jobs, but I am hoping to make this a replacement second job. My day job, I get out at 3pm and I have the rest of the day to help out. Of course, I have my own dog, so I'd like to stop home and care for her first before helping out where I'm needed, but other than that, I have a pretty open schedule, especially on the weekends! About: My name is Taylor and I am a 26 year old dog mom who has 3 beautiful fur babies and 8 chickens. About: My name is Paige and I am currently working at a local dog daycare where I have been employed since February 2017. I also work at a local boarding kennel and am a dog trainer there. I have several personal dogs, so safety is first and foremost for me. I frequently have at least two client dogs staying with me. I utilize crates, baby gates, and x-pens to ensure safety. We live on an acre and it is completely fenced in. If you are looking for a place to board your pup, but want a more intimate and home-like setting, look no further! Rest assured that your dog will be physically and mentally stimulated daily. Dogs are kept in 4’ x 4.5’ x 4.5’ runs with access to water 24/7. All runs include stall mats and/or Kuranda dog beds (cots)- which are great for the older guys and gals! Your dog will be let out at least 3x daily for a minimum of 30 minutes each time for potty breaks. Several hours are spent outside daily for group play if your dog tolerates it. Yard time includes anything and everything your pet loves to do: sniffing, exploring, fetch, pool time, basking in the sun, and playing with other pups (if they are ok with others!). Benebones are included with each run! Blankets/beds/toys are welcomed if your dog is not a chewer or shredder. Otherwise I provide dog-safe bedding. When dogs are not playing, they are resting in their 4.5 x 4.5ft x 4.5ft kennels with comfy raised cot beds (stall mats also available). Due to the large amount of dogs I have here (including my own), this is crucial for their safety and provides structure for all. I currently work split shifts between the daycare, boarding & training, which allows me to be home at random hours of the day to let dogs out. Quieter than a boarding kennel!!! And daycare included! Dogs are kept in spacious kennel runs with their very own comfy beds (personal stuff encouraged if not a shredder!) if they are not outside running around being crazy dogs. My yard is completely fenced.

I have provide care for multiple family and friends pets when they go on vacation. I treat everyones pets the way I would treat my own, like a family member. I really enjoy the company of animals for a few days! I work remotely so I can provide a unique care experience not commonly found. I am available to be with your pet nearly round the clock.
