House Sitting in Athens

About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I have watched cats and dogs since I was a child for family, friends and neighbors. I enjoy watching their personalities when they are excited I am currently doing an online course and have plenty of time to play with your animal babies. I can spend time with your babies as needed I would come in a take them for walks feed and play with them if needed. Give them lots of of love and treats when needed

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my entire life and I house-sit/dog-sit as a part-time job, as well as work at two stables. I grew up with the responsibility of taking care of my own pets, so I enjoy taking care of other people’s animals! Now that my semester is over, my schedule is very open- almost everyday, except Fridays, I have time (unless I have prior plans, and I will try to update my schedule as accurately as possible). I’ll be able to feed, let your dogs out, walk them/play with them, spend time with your cats, etc.! I’d like to know a day in advance, but I could possibly accept a same day booking. I take care of every animal like they’re my own; I’ve taken many dogs off the streets to find their owners. This is no different, your animal will be treated with respect and love while you’re away! I won’t be taking care of animals at my house (due to my own pets), but I would possibly be up for overnight house-sitting once I’ve built a trusting relationship with a client and their animals. But for now I will only be doing drop-in visits and walking.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, kitties, and farm animals since I was 12 years old. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me for years to ensure their fur babies are well taken care of while they are away, whether it’s a weekend or a week. On the days off, the fur babies will get all the love I can give them! When I’m on a sitting job, I always stay at the clients home for the duration of the sitting job so their fur babies are in the comfort of their own home with no environment changes.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, my dogs are my babies and I would treat yours the same. Fully fenced in yard to play fetch in and run around I’m currently a stay at home dog dad so they will never be left alone, always ready to take outside and let play with toys. I let my dogs out every couple of hours, always have food available for them and take them outside to play fetch whenever the weather permits

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, I was always the one to dogsit for family and friends. I’ve loved every minute of spending time with different dogs and their personalities! I have three dogs myself so I know what it’s like to be a dog mom! I would love to take care of your fur baby/babies! I’m currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby/babies! I am available every Monday through Wednesday. I am also available Thursday through Sunday if I am asked in advance! I have a cabin a couple hours away from where I live so sometimes I am up there, that’s why I would need a notice for Thursday-Sunday! I can be available anytime during the day! I am willing to do whatever is needed for you pet to be comfortable! Let me know what your daily routine is and that’s what I will do! About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 9 years old. Lots of experience with both long and short term house sitting, with multiple animals with different needs! Currently I work part time as a dance instructor, so I have plenty of time and energy to keep your pets entertained. I’m available most days for house sitting and pet care Your home, your rules! Your pets, your schedule! Routines are super important for both animals and humans. My goal as your sitter is to make the irregular feel regular, for you and your pet(s).

About: I have many years training young pets (even cats!) and accommodating for senior animals, especially larger breeds. Larger breeds of dogs are definitely my specialty aswell. I’m currently working part-time (sometimes!) and have an extremely open and flexible schedule, and having the opportunity to help people with their fur family members sounds very fulfilling I have years of dog training experience and used to train service dogs as a child, owning a very well trained and loved dog for over 10 years. During that time I’ve had experience caring for multiple cats with many accommodations due to our oldest being 16 and our youngest being a high maintenance sphinx (just over a year)

About: I’ve had first hand experience in training and taking care of one client’s dog from daily walks and bathing and grooming. I absolutely love dogs and want to expand more! I’m currently working part time. I am also a single mom. I’m available on Mondays during school hours, during the week in the afternoon/evening as well as the weekends.
