About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I’ve had first hand experience in training and taking care of one client’s dog from daily walks and bathing and grooming. I absolutely love dogs and want to expand more! I’m currently working part time. I am also a single mom. I’m available on Mondays during school hours, during the week in the afternoon/evening as well as the weekends. I will provide safe environment for your dog! There is also a dog park nearby. So you can count on daily walks or runs! Any selfies we take will be sent to you! :D

About: I’m a long-time social worker who really should’ve been a dog social worker. If I could figure out how to bill insurance for snuggle time, baths, long walks, and naps I would have the perfect life. I’m not afraid of the elements and will get out and walk in the snow, rain or whatever else Michigan’s can throw our way. I’ve sat for some pretty temperamental large dogs. Patience is a virtue. I’m skilled with special-needs dogs. I’ve had a couple who have been injection dependent, oral medication dependent, and require topical oil‘s. I’ll do whatever it takes to make your fur baby comfortable and happy. We don’t get them for very long so each day truly is a blessing. I’d love a chance to snuggle with your baby.

About: I was born into a family of pet lovers. We have had a wide array of pets in our home-cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and more. I have become my church and friends' go-to pet sitter for years. I not only provide the love and care that pets need, I am also a licensed pet massage therapist, so your pet will get extra love! I am self-employed, so my schedule varies and is very open for providing top notch pet care. My day is better when I am able to provide love and care for animals! I provide pet care in your home and am able to work with your pet(s) specific needs and schedules. I want them to feel as unaffected by your absence as possible!

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and I can appreciate every breed. They all deserve love and compassion, and I've recently made room for cats, as well. Pets are family members, so I don't mind lending a hand for family! I have two jobs, but I am hoping to make this a replacement second job. My day job, I get out at 3pm and I have the rest of the day to help out. Of course, I have my own dog, so I'd like to stop home and care for her first before helping out where I'm needed, but other than that, I have a pretty open schedule, especially on the weekends! I will always opt for going to a client's home because I rent my place of living and am limited in bringing around other pets. I will follow any instructions given to me by my clients, and am very good at sending updates!!

About: Hello! My name is Garin and I’m a happy business owner as well as avid movie buff and traveler. If hired I promise to take the best care possible of your beloved furry ones whenever the time is needed! As a business owner I have unique flexibility for pet’s different needs and am available just about anytime even last minute and on some holidays We have a beloved cat Clover that mostly hangs out in our room and has a comfortable playpen when we take longer trips that we can’t bring her on. When caring for client pets we usually attempt minimal routine disruption and treat the pets as if they were our own on our own schedule

About: i have taken care of pets since i was 12. I have walked and house sat neighbors and family’s pets. i also have fed friends dogs when out of town i’m pretty open and can sit whenever. sometimes i’ll work in the morning but it is from home so i will be with the pet all day i have a big yard so the animals can play and use the bathroom whenever. i also live in a good neighborhood so i can take them on walks

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My dad used to help help run a rescue for several years, and we had many dogs of varying breeds and ages in our home. I currently have one dog named Alvin who was born in 2022. He is a yellow lab with a lot of energy! I am venturing into the working world, and this is my only role. My availability is wide open and I'm willing to help when needed! I have a small fenced in area under our deck where my dog relieves himself. I go for walks and there is a dog park very close to the house. My dog has extreme crate anxiety, so he isn't created. I am comfortable helping to ensure your pet is created as necessary.

About: I love animals! I have always taken in Anything that needed help! Baby birds, baby bunnies, kittens, puppies, and more. This is what sparked my love for pet sitting! We have watched everything from huge greyhound dog to tiny lizard. I love the outdoors and animals. They will be right at home. About: I have had dogs and other small animals since childhood. I also have a background in emergency medicine that can come in handy. I’m also currently working from home and have an extremely flexible schedule I work part time from home or can take my work with me. Making it easy to walk dogs and spend time with them throughout the day. I usually get in 3-5 miles daily. Making it easy to get dogs exercised. I have a fenced yard with one dog who is an incredible “host”. Not minding company. I also have the ability to rotate animals safely inside and out of the home if they are not happy together.

About: I volunteer at a shelter almost weekly, so I have tons of experience with different dog breeds and knowledge of administering pills and eye/ear drops! I work part-time currently, so I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can also check in on Saturday and Sunday depending on the time when I work! I have two lovely smaller dogs at home that are crate trained and they get walked daily and are taken to the dog park weekly.

About: I am an experience animal care taker after 30 years on a farm. We always had cats and dogs, in addition to cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, etc.. I am an avid pet lover. I have 4 fur babies and all are my therapy - a part of my family. We also have 4 cats. I completely understand that they are not just animals and more often then not are more important then the humans in our lives. About: I have experience with just about every type of pet regardless of age. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as rescues with high care needs as well as their medication schedules. I began pet sitting when I was very young and have always loved it. I have special experience with caring for dogs with trauma and special situations. It is my privilege to meet those needs. I am available every weekday before 8:45 and every weeknight after 5pm. On weekends I have full day availability on Saturday and Sunday. Currently I am a happy lover of my two dogs and cats at home and my cat Tonka Truck. I usually begin my day with feeding and letting them out and repeat that after shifts. Apart from the usual litter box changes and feeding, it’s necessary to give my older dog medication in the middle of the day. These routines fit well in my life. I care for pets with a high degree of input from clients. While I do have a lot of experience with pet care, it is ultimately your baby and you know your pet best. Any suggestions, rules, and schedules are my privilege to abide by. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to the trauma needs of my own pets, but I am very conscious of house preferences and pet needs in clients’ homes. I am flexible with play schedules and meal times and have become efficient at administering medication from experience with my own dogs. I am also able to meet any sanitation and safety preferences during this time.
