About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I have watched cats and dogs since I was a child for family, friends and neighbors. I enjoy watching their personalities when they are excited I am currently doing an online course and have plenty of time to play with your animal babies. I can spend time with your babies as needed I would come in a take them for walks feed and play with them if needed. Give them lots of of love and treats when needed

About: I have had dogs and other small animals since childhood. I also have a background in emergency medicine that can come in handy. I’m also currently working from home and have an extremely flexible schedule I work part time from home or can take my work with me. Making it easy to walk dogs and spend time with them throughout the day. I usually get in 3-5 miles daily. Making it easy to get dogs exercised. I have a fenced yard with one dog who is an incredible “host”. Not minding company. I also have the ability to rotate animals safely inside and out of the home if they are not happy together.

About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. About: Dogs and cats and lizards, oh my! I’ve done it all. For the first 18 years of my life I’ve had experience walking dogs, house sitting, and raising my own pets. Then I began working at a summer camp where I was partially responsible for taking care of our reptile family - crested geckos, bearded dragons, and ball pythons and were just some of the cuties I got to take care of. Since then I have taken care and owned cats, dogs, and lizards of my own and on the side have house sat and loved many family and friends pets while they’re gone. I even have experience with some medical administration such as insulin shots to a feisty cat and pills to the dog I currently own. I can’t wait to get acquainted with your family member :) My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most any time a pet needs taken care of, including during the work day and weekends. I have three dogs, one cat and a crested gecko currently who are all very loved and spoiled by myself, my husband and our almost two year old. We’ve taught all the dogs recall, leash training and how to be gentle around young children. Our cat is an old man with feline herpes, one of our dogs needs daily oral medication and the juvenile gecko gets extra attention as he continues growing.

Currently my fur babies are Koda, an Australian Kelpie mix, Maple, a GSD puppy, and Pebbles, queen of the house calico. I'm looking forward to caring for your furr babies and keeping them happy and healthy by providing drop-in visits or going for fun walks. My days and weeks are usually flexible, even on short notice. I am also normally available during holidays. Drop in visits can be up to 30 minutes, and walks can be 20, 30 or 60. It takes special humans to welcome pets into their homes, and they become members of your family. And as such, you can count on me to treat your babies as I would my own.
