About: Every dog is different, and must be evaluated to establish the proper care for them. The basic rules of engagement is trust, loyalty, respect, love and of course treats. I demonstrate a leader of a pack with confidence in meeting new dogs, engaging to meet every dog's needs. I have trained my own dogs along with friends dogs. The success is based on how well you evaluate them. I really love the compassion and unconditional love they have for their human's. I have cared for and raised puppies into beautiful old puppies and when my golden slowed down and was barely able to walk, I had to make the hardest decision of my life. The reason I am interested in dog care, is because while I was at work, she was home alone waiting for me to get home and it would have been great to have someone come pay attention to her. I want to be there for pets, for the people that can't be, and brighten their pets day while they make money to care for them. I also understand what its like to try to plan a vacation with pets, the pet deserves their own little vacation while the family takes a break. My outlook is you can't have too many best friends and wish to make a few more on my journey.

About: I have had experience with both small and large animals for over 20 years. I grew up on a farm and recently relocated south of Kalamazoo and I appreciate all the time I can get to spend with animals. “Catherine was absolutely amazing with my boy. She followed all care instructions and was very patient with my young rambunctious pup. She even went the extra mile in playing with him to get some of that puppy energy out. She took note of the puppy mess in his bed and offered to throw the bed in the wash and replace it with something else before putting him back in the crate. This was my first time using Rover and thanks to my experience with Catherine, I would certainly use it again!”

About: I have taken care of multiple pups since I was a child and even raised one through the end of high school and into college despite the difficulties of maneuvering through that season of life. I have a great grasp on the patience it takes to take care of a pet properly due to my time raising a dog from the puppy stage. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs and have been the go to for any family members or friends in need of pet care. Currently I am working full time first shift in Auburn Indiana. I would love to get opportunities to provide pet care on the weekends but am also open to providing care during the week after I get off work! When I provide pet care in other peoples home’s I put myself in position to give full attention to the pup while I am there. I will bring food, laptop, or whatever is necessary so I don’t have to make any trips. Always want to be there to let the pup out, feed them, or take for walk!

About: I have experience with dogs of all age ranges, sizes, and needs. I am also a dog mom of two rescues (blue heeler mix and beagle mix). Within the last few years I have also fostered and dog sat for a number of friends and family members. I am currently a senior at Western Michigan University and have all virtual classes, which makes my schedule a little more flexible. I am just looking for a way to work while doing something I enjoy! All dogs are leashed while on walks and I have plenty of doggy bags! I allow pets on furniture unless the owner requests otherwise and am also willing to bathe or brush clients if requested.

About: I have trained our household dogs since I was 10, and taken care of others’ dogs since I was 12. I love walking them, playing with them, and just making sure they are comfortable even when their owner isn’t around I am a self-employed hairdresser, so my hours are very flexible. I love spending as much time as I can with my own animals, and meeting other people’s would just be a perk to my spare time! In my own home, I care for my cat and dog, feeding and watering them, along with providing them with grooming care and exercise. I clean the litterbox daily, and clip both my cat and dog’s toenails. I’ve had to clean plenty of messes, and while it’s not enjoyable for anyone, I won’t shy away from it by any means.

About: From a young age, I've always been happier with a dog around. I've had years of experience owning and caring for dogs. Our family is currently run by 3 giant German Shepherds, and we wouldn't have it any other way ☺️ Over the last 3 years we have had the incredible experience of bringing two of Nala and Koda's litters into the world... hence our newest addition Lucy! That being said I have plenty of experience with puppy care and cleaning. While I do work a full time job, I always have weekends and weekly afternoons available for dog walks and pet care. *available for sitting/dog walking Pet care in my own home would unfortunately not be available. I am open to pet care in a client's home as needed. I am a reliable dog mom of three and boy mom so I believe I would be able to handle any requests or environment.

“Barbara was FANTASTIC!! I strongly recommend her. My fiance and I went to Florida for our spring break and I was scrambling to find someone to watch my dog and chickens. When I reached out to Barbara, she was quick to respond and set up a meet and greet right away. She took care of Lester AND my chickens (she let the chickens out in the morning and closed the coop at night). She came to my house twice a day. Her price per visit is very reasonable and she does more than what's expected. Most importantly, she takes a ton of pictures!! Seeing pictures morning and afternoon of my dog and chickens eased my mind and made me happy. She's GREAT with animals and is very experienced. She knows what she's doing and has a kind/loving personality. Next time I go out of the state, I will definitely use her as my sitter. Hands-down. Thanks Barbara!! Hope you'll continue doing this.”
