As long as I have at least 2-3 days before a booking I can switch things around to be with your pet. I typically work 4-8 hours and have small breaks where I can leave the school and check in with pets twice a day while I am working. If they need round the clock care, I can make that happen but as it interferes with my day job that would require further conversation as far as pricing. I play with animals, I’ll walk them, bathe them, give them medication if needed. I treat every pet I’m lucky enough to have placed in my care as my own. Anything you need or want for me to do for your four legged family member I would be more than happy to accommodate!

About: I’m an ER nurse and paramedic looking to spend time playing, walking and caring for pets. Or house sitting. I typically am free 3-4 days a week as I work 3-12 hour shifts a week at the hospital. Naturally, I’m very compassionate and care very deeply about living beings. I also have had cats and dogs of my own. I’m 58, dependable, have my own car and am active. I work 3 days a week in the ER. Which leave 4 days a week to pet sit and walk dogs! I have a Honda Fit that I am not fussy about, a dog is welcome to take a ride to Belle Isle or to the dog park! Ideally I would sit in your home, but I’m sure if your dog or cat is friendly my family would love to have them overnight!

About: Several people have trusted me enough to stay overnight at their homes for multiple days, caring for their dog children while they were away. I’ve cared for a range of dogs including those who need little attention and dogs who have an hourly schedule. I’ve done drop-ins to walk the dogs as well. I am able to follow clear instructions for dogs who need medical treatment (medicine) while in my care. All of my dog duties stemmed from happy owners recommending me to others. I work early mornings Monday through Friday. I get off around 9am. That means I can check in on your pup while you’re at work. I can also dog sit on select weekends. I live in a dog friendly apartment. It has a good amount of open space, but it’s also secure. When at your house I’d follow your rules accordingly.
