I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. About: Hi, my name is Carissa! I am experienced in caring for many animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and even farm animals. I owned an operated an open-play dog boarding and daycare facility in Southern California for five years (from 2014 through 2019) serving over 300 furry clients- all different sizes and personalities. (My old Facebook page with reviews can be seen on facebook by searching CarissaBennettCanineCare). Since moving back to my home-state of Michigan I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years in a general practice clinic, and am able to confidently provide first aid, as well as administer oral, topical, and injectable medications to pets in my care. Additionally, I am comfortable with caring for senior and special needs pets. I love all animals like family and would love the opportunity to care for your furbaby while you are away! I am available all day Fridays-Mondays. Perfect for long weekend trips! I do work to Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8am-5pm, but I am available in the evening on Thursdays for drop-off if needed (for an early Friday morning departure, etc.). I am available for drop-in visits Friday-Monday as well, and can also schedule drop-in visits between 6-8 pm Tuesday-Thursdays. Your pet would have tons of love in our home, with access to all living spaces and our large fenced-in yard. We currently have 1 indoor/outdoor kitty, but our chocolate lab recently passed away, so no pups in the home at this time.

About: I have been rescuing dogs for almost 2 decades. Needless to say, I love dogs. I currently have a great Pyrenees and she would love Company. I work 100% remote from home., my yard has a 6 foot privacy fence am I Home is very dog friendly. I am also experienced in taking care of diabetic dogs, including testing and injections twice a day, monitoring food and making sure that all the dogs under my hair get daily walks, and lots of love. I work 100% remote. My day doesn’t start until nine, which allows me to spend time in the morning either playing with the dogs going for walks. I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood around those days that the weather doesn’t permit us to go out I have what we call beauty time.. I walk my dog every evening for at least 30 minutes and if the day is nice, we try to get some time in during lunch as well My house and backyard are very pet friendly. I am not someone who gets upset if there’s an accident after all they’re pets, stuff’s gonna happen. I have a 6 foot privacy fence in my backyard. My dog prefers to sleep outside, but for the dogs that I’m sitting I prefer they be inside with me.

I work fully remote so am entirely flexible throughout my day, including nights and weekends. I am able to accommodate the needs of the pet whether it involves a quick stop or an extended stay. I will always make sure your pet is secured in a fenced yard or on a leash. I don’t even like to leave pets unattended in the yard without keeping an eye on them. In the house it is important that boundaries are adhered to if there are certain areas off limits, and crate trained dogs are secured in their crate when left at home.

About: I have been caring for animals since elementary school. I watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends of the family. As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. My other dog is terrified of fireworks and she made a comfortable bed for him to lay in. And made him as comfortable as she possibly could. She constantly sent me updates with pics and any concerns she may have had. The pics she sent me showed my babies having a great time. She is the best. She is sweet, caring, and really takes the best care of them. I will from now on bring my babies to her when we go away. She treats your furbabies as her own. Thank you so much Lindsey”
“Monica is a perfect for boarding or watching your fur baby! She administers simple meds and sends photo updates. We left our fur baby with her for 16 days and was able to do that feeling confident that Mazie was getting care just like she would at home. Can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our Mazie Mae! We will definitely be rebooking soon!”
“Amanda and her husband were amazing with Huckleberry. She told me their house is a dog house and boy was she right! He immediately seemed comfortable there the moment we dropped him off. She gave us consistent updates throughout the stay and treated him as he was her own. He absolutely adored her and was loving all the cuddles and attention. “Rachael and Mike were amazing with our precious Mirna. They were extremely accommodating to do a meet & greet in short notice and accepted Mirna into their home with open arms! Our pup had SO much fun with them & slept for a full 24 hours after pickup 😅 we would highly recommend them! They didn’t even kick Mirna out when she ruined their Sunday lasagna dinner by knocking it to the ground LOL.”

“Jess is wonderful. I have engaged her twice to board my American Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Both times issues arose, one was a health issue and another where my flight was cancelled and I needed extra days of care. She cheerfully accommodated the situation and put my mind at ease during a stressful time. She takes great care of Halle, who is a rescue and can be reactive towards other dogs. I usually have to give a lot of instructions for sitters, but not so much with Jess, she just knows what to do. I especially noticed that Halle was more relaxed after staying with Jess. Now that she is used to her, I feel really comfortable leaving Halle with Jess.”
