“Marna and family took excellent care of Gus. Daily updates were provided and prompt/detailed communication about drop off/pick up made a quick getaway stress free. He was a part of the family and was a happy, tired boy when he came home. We’ve already booked our next stay!”

“I had a last minute booking need come up and I’m so glad I did so I could meet Elisabeth! Elisabeth was so wonderful and caring to my dog. I was really excited to see she has other small dogs, and Louise had a blast running around with her crew. Elisabeth was incredibly caring, she sent really thorough updates and made Louise feel right at home after I left. I felt so at ease knowing my sensitive little dog was so well cared for and had some friends to play with. I would absolutely bring Louise back and highly recommend Elisabeth!”

“Michaela was great with Barley for an evening so my wife and I could go to a festival. Even in the relatively short time, she sent multiple photos and videos of Barley clearly having a great time with Michaela, her partner, and her dog Gus. I would recommend her to anyone in Portland!”

“After our meet & greet, Shorty was so happy to go back to Vicky & Bobby's, he couldn't wait to get out of the car. They have a great house & awesome back yard perfect for dogs. Their dogs Magic & Brooklyn were great with Shorty, & he sometimes has problems with new dogs. Vicky sent me great pics every & really put my mind at ease, seeing Shorty livin the doggy life. Vicky even brought Shorty to work with her at the pet hospital where she works & I know he loved that. Travis, Bobby's brother was also really great & Shorty warmed up to him right away. Shorty is used to sleeping on the bed & they allowed that, and also figured out something yummy for him to eat when he wouldn't. I highly endorse Vicky & Bobby, & Shorty's looking forward to his next vacay!”

About: As someone who genuinely loves taking care of animals, this role is perfect for me. I am that person that will stop on the street to pet any and all dogs (if their owners allow it!) I am a full time nursing student graduating in December and also work at the hospital, but would love to also schedule some animal time in as well :) I am mostly free on weekends due to my school schedule, but may vary week to week. I can usually be fairly flexible though depending on the week! I am very detailed and organized, so steps for taking care of your pets will not be missed! I will treat your dogs as if they were my own.

“Rachael was amazing with Maizy. Maizy vacationed with her for 8 nights. As promised, we received many pictures and updates daily. She was in tuned to how our girl was feeling and we could see the happiness on Maizy’s face in the pics. Rachel reached out with food questions when needed. We seriously could not have asked for a better vacation for our Maizy girl! Highly recommend Rachael! Hopr the secret doesn’t spread too fast so we can book Rachael again!”

“This is our first time leaving our puppy with anyone especially for multiple days. Cindy was really responsive and flexible as we figured out our plans. Kuma had some playmates while he stayed and came home tuckered out. I loved the vidoes and the photos she sent to us, letting us know he is outside getting exercise and having lots of fun! I am glad to have found Cindy for Kuma and the family!”

About: *Please note that our Day Care & Boarding rates are at a special rate for August and September while we build our Rover profile! We just ask that in return you'll be sure to write us a review based on the care we provide your doggo 💛* Hi there! We’re Amanda and Austen, a couple based in Scarborough with a dog of our own (our Mini Aussie, Mazie) and a lot of love to share with yours. When Amanda’s not caring for her sweet group of five-year-olds or Austen’s not out playing tennis, we’re spending time with Mazie, chasing seagulls at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or snuggling up on the couch after a snowy play session. We love active days just as much as laid-back ones, and we’re happy to match whatever energy your pup brings. We both grew up in homes with animals- at one point, Amanda had five dogs and a cat! We have cared for dogs of all breeds and energy levels, from teacup-size rescues to large-breed couch potatoes, plus plenty of other animals over the years (including Sparkles the Bearded Dragon, Amanda’s current classroom pet). We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced-in backyard that dogs love to explore. Austen works from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day, and we share responsibilities depending on the care your pet needs. Whether it’s a weekend adventure, daily daycare, or a cozy overnight stay, we’re here to make your dog feel happy, safe, and loved. We offer care throughout the week and are happy to accommodate weekends, holidays, and special requests as our schedule allows. Austen works from home and provides consistent weekday care and supervision, while Amanda handles most weekend walks, drop-ins, and house sitting when needed. Between the two of us, your pet will never go long without company, playtime, or a potty break. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute trip, we’ll work with you to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. That’s why we always begin with a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with us, and you’re confident in the care we provide. We take a gentle, respectful approach, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and we’ll always ask for your guidance on what makes your pup feel safe and secure. Whether we’re in your home or ours, we want to provide a low-stress, enriching environment with plenty of attention, structure, and love. We’re also happy to provide regular updates (with photos!) and check-ins during every visit or stay, so you’re always in the loop - because we’d want the same from someone watching Mazie.

“Kris took great care of my dog while I was away for the weekend. She was sensitive to all of her particular needs, habits and routine, snuggled with her on the couch, let her sleep in the bed with her and treated her as if she was her own while I was away. She gave great, personal and personalized care and attention and put my mind at ease that I knew my dog was being well looked after and taken care of.”

“Jay was a perfect host. Incredibly kind and welcoming. He was alert to what my dog needed and sent thorough and thoughtful updates while I was away. On my return, my dog had clearly connected with him after 24 hours and was totally at ease in this unfamiliar space. Beyond what I had hoped for. Will for sure connect with him again if I need a pet-sitter in the Portland area.”
