“Andrew was on time and totally respectful. He was very calm with our hyper puppy and did a great job of letting the pup come/warm up to him. We had a few requests (sitting at sidewalks and heeling by people) that make walking the pup a little more work. Andrew was more than happy to work with all of our requests. Definitely recommend!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my precious boy with Lauren. Lauren was super easy to communicate with and she checked in with me after her walk with my dog. I would recommend Lauren when you need someone to watch you furbabies.”

About: I've walked and exercised dogs. Fed them. Snuggled them. I have a pretty laid-back personality, so I hardly stress out even when a dog is barking at me. I understand they need to get use to a person first sometimes. I work a super laid-back job from home so I have plenty of time to spend with any pets throughout the day, whether they be dogs who need walking or cats who need snuggling. I follow the routines outlined by my clients, and use my intuition to know what the pet is needed or feeling in the moment. It probably sounds corny, but it's the best way I know how to describe it. An attentive person can tell when they're upset or when they're at peace.

“Lavinia was great with our super-reactive rescue dog. She handled him like a pro, and he really liked her. We will most definitely be booking her again when the need arises. I highly recommend her.”

“John was excellent with my dog. He was polite and dependable. I knew I could count on him and that my dog was safe in his hands!! I recommend him!!! I'll be using John's services as long as I'm living in Rochester.”

About: I would love to work with you and your canine family. I love dogs and want them to have every opportunity to be "out-and-about" enjoying their lives, walking and traveling, as they are meant to. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly, and dogs got to walk! Dog-walking is service I am glad to provide. A brief background: I grew up with dogs. My first dog, a German Shepherd/Husky mix was a part of my family before I was born. After finishing my education, my partner and I adopted another Husky mix, Lulu, who was with us for 10+ years. She was well-trained, affectionate, and the best little fur friend we could have asked for. I have experienced, with a professional, Basic Obedience Class, Good Canine Citizenship, and will be continuing training to further my skills. Since Lulu passed, we adopted another cat (in addition to the one we already had), and they are the best of friends. However, I miss those daily walks with my furbie and am so glad for the opportunity to work with yours. I understand the importance of treating dogs with care and respect. It is my goal to increase my dog-walking skills to certification. Let's get in touch! Would be glad to chat more :) My schedule is generally 10am-4pm; but can be flexible if needed/as available. Will walk in any weather as long as it is safe to do so. Every measure will be taken to ensure the safety of your pet, including making sure they are safe on the leash while walking, while leaving and entering the home (no door dashing :]), as well as any other measures you may request to ensure safety.

About: From high-energy pups to more anxious or reserved dogs, I have the skills and experience to take care of all of your pups needs! I love every pet like they're my own, making sure they feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I'm a grad student with night classes coming up part-time this fall, meaning I have lots of time during the day to take care of your pet! When I care for pets in their own home, I cater to their needs - whether that's giving lots of attention, playtime, or snuggles. I'm always careful to respect household rules and keep everything clean and safe. I'll also keep you updated on a regular basis, and make sure to send lots of pictures while you're away!

About: I have been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility for over a year now, supervising up to 50 dogs a day. I care for and play with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as give them baths when needed, feeding them meals, and giving needed medications. I have experience with many different kinds of dog behavior to know when they are anxious, scared, or if something is bothering them. Outside of work, I dog sit for family and friends, taking the dogs for walks and adventures so you will always be sure they will be tuckered out by the end of the day. I recently adopted a dog through K9 Orphans, Mia. She is a sweetheart with severe stranger danger (we are working on it), so I have experience with dogs who are reactive toward strangers. Through years of experience working with dogs, I’ve learned no personality is the same. I find it very important to learn what a dog’s specifics needs are and make sure they are met. My job at the daycare is full time and I work shifts that are between 6 and 8 hours (usually late morning through evening). Since I do work later in the day I have plenty of morning time to spend taking care of pets as well as flexibility to watch pets into the evening as well. Working at a dog daycare I experience everything that comes with working with dogs. I clean up anything you can think of, I understand dog behavior and when they are overwhelmed or anxious, and I know how to handle an aggressive dog. My main priority is to always keep them safe and happy.

“Jacqueline is very professional and takes great care of my dogs! She’s always on time and very responsive. She takes care of the house and makes sure to wipe paws from the snow or rain. Definitely recommend her services if you need a reliable walker/sitter!”

“Hannah is amazing and our pup loves her walks/visits with her! The photos and updates are lovely and we are grateful for the excellent care our nutty lab receives from Hannah!”

“Mackenzie is amazing! I’m super grateful that she came to my rescue to walk my 60lb 10-month old puppy. I know that my dog is still learning to walk on a leash, and I know that he is a lot to handle. McKenzie did wonderful with my puppy. I would rebook with her in a heartbeat.”

“Hannah is wonderful! I tend to be a bit anxious leaving my dog with others but I know my dog is in great hands with Hannah, and love seeing the happy pictures from their walks.”

About: I've had pets my entire life! I've taken care of my own pets - dogs, cats, snakes, gerbils, and rats - who have had a variety of needs including meds, fluids and inhalers, and friends', family, and neighbors' pets! I have always been a huge animal lover and having just moved back to Rochester with my partner as he starts his residency, I have a lot of free time! I would love to help with your animals! I have two cat and dog friendly cats who have a good routine and are always looking for new friends to play with! My apartment is secure and I dote on my kitties!

About: I have taken care of many pets of the years including some exotics and the regular cats and dogs as well. I have had many years of experience with with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am not afraid to give medications as well, as long there is some written instructions! I have done grooming for dogs and cats as well! I do work full time as a Technician Assistant at a Veterinary hospital and my hours right now vary but I am getting on a more solid schedule! I work from about 8 or 9 am to about 6-7:30 most nights and work every other weekend as well. I can also work with your dog if they are in training and need some more practice with the different skills being taught to your pup! Again for that all I would need is some instructions for commands and rewards! I am well versed in the puppy routines as well as being able to crate the dog as well. All of your pets will get all the love and attention the want as well! I will always make sure everything is back where it is supposed to be and I will obviously clean up after myself and your pets!

Overall, I highly recommend Jessica as a dog walker :)”
