“If you're looking for a pet sitter you should hire Kimberly. If you're looking for a cat sitter, you should drop everything you're doing and hire Kimberly. As a long time user of Rover who has hired multiple folks over the years, I can confidently say that getting Kimberly to check in on my two, boisterous, 14-pound boys has been my best Rover experience to date. There's a singular reason why Kimberly exceeded our expectations - diligence. We are pretty particular about care routines and processes, and Kimberly got it straight away and then not only complied but actually understood them. This is because a) she's a really, really good pet sitter, b) she's a cat person and an animal person through and through, and c) because she's a cool person overall. That last point is important because I've hired a couple of people from Rover who appeared great initially but ended up being pretty sketchy. Kimberly not only executed all the routines, and processes, and nuances effortlessly, she also found time to bond with the cats, and deliver extensive report cards, photos, videos with military precision. She did the work thoroughly, communicated instantly, and showed up reliably. It made a world of difference during the 8 days we entrusted our cats and home to her. About: I’ve had many types of animals throughout my life, especially as a kid. From chickens to multiple Great Dane’s, the fondness never fails to grow. I currently work from home, so I have time and flexibility throughout the week to care for animals. I can generally schedule around any appointment. About: I have had a dog my entire life, but the apartment complex I live in now doesn't allow pets. I am hoping to live vicariously through your pets! I have watched multiple friends furry animals, and understand that each critter is different and requires love in different ways. I work from 8-4:30pm Monday-Friday. I live 10 minutes from my office and can let an animal out during my lunch break for a potty break ! Otherwise my evenings are free and flexible to meet up with your pet. It is very important to me that animals are acknowledged as a member of the family. I will make sure to treat them with the care and love how I used to wit my own animals. I am a very detail oriented person and will make sure to follow ALL instructions as it is written. Please know that I have used the rover service myself, and I was nervous about trusting a stranger to take care of my precious animals at first. About: My first (and favorite) job was becoming the neighborhood petsitter at 15. But I have been around dogs my entire life. I have taken care of pups of various sizes, ages, and breeds, and have been a foster parent for Dallas Animal Services for the past 5 years. I also have experience with senior dogs and anxious dogs. Dogs are truly my biggest joy in life, and you can have trust that I will provide great care for your pet. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so you can be assured that your dog has my full attention. I am an active person who loves going on daily runs and walks (when the weather is appropriate) and snuggling the fur babies on the couch. My lifestyle is very much centered around dogs. During the day the dogs get as much play time as they prefer and the weather will allow. I wake up early and the first thing I do is take all the dogs out to the backyard. The backyard is spacious, fenced, and has areas with shade and water. I supervise all play and also have cameras in the backyard to help alert me to any late-night happenings. The yard is also routinely treated for insects, fleas, ticks, etc. In addition to the large yard, I enjoy walks and runs on the Trinity Skyline Trail or my neighborhood park when the weather permits. All dogs are fed separately to eliminate any stressful situations.
