Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets. I started helping care for my grandmother’s dog when I was around 10 years old, so being around animals has always been a natural part of my life. About three years ago, I helped a friend care for their 3-year-old Shiba Inu for a full month. Shibas are independent and strong-willed, so I learned quickly how important patience, consistency, and clear boundaries are. It was a great experience and deepened my confidence with medium-sized, high-energy dogs. Currently, I’m a proud pet parent to two cats and two guinea pigs. Managing a multi-pet household has made me very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, behavior changes, and emotional needs. I’m used to cleaning litter boxes and enclosures, monitoring appetite and mood, and making sure each pet gets individual attention. I understand that every pet has a different personality. Some want constant affection, some need space, and some just want you nearby. I’m calm, observant, and respectful of each animal’s comfort level. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or a little dramatic (no judgment lol), I’ll meet them where they are. Your pet’s safety and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they’re my own.

I currently offer drop-in visits and pet care in my clients' homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. During each visit, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or enclosures as needed, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. I understand that some pets love playtime and interaction, while others prefer a calm and gentle presence. I pay close attention to changes in appetite, energy level, behavior, and overall well-being, and I will promptly communicate any concerns. I also provide updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind while they're away. As a pet parent to two cats and two guinea pigs, I'm very familiar with maintaining feeding schedules, cleaning habitats, and making sure each animal receives individualized care. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away.

I booked in-home care with Wanqing for the two foster kittens I'm caring for while I was away for 11 days, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the very beginning, communication was prompt, clear, and reliable. Before the booking even began, Wanqing took the time to come meet the girls and do a walkthrough of my apartment, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Throughout my trip, she sent thoughtful daily updates along with photos. Since the kittens weren't used to her at first and spent a lot of time hiding, I really appreciated how patient she was. She even took the initiative to research kitten behavior, ask friends for advice, and bring over different toys to help them feel more comfortable. That level of care and dedication meant a lot to me. When I returned home, the girls had grown so much. They were happy, healthy, and noticeably more social. As someone fostering them with the goal of finding them loving forever homes, continuing their socialization while I was away was one of my biggest concerns, and Wanqing did a wonderful job supporting that. What stood out most was that her care didn't end when the booking did. She followed up the next day to make sure I had arrived home safely and that the girls were settling back in well. Overall, I'm so glad I chose Wanqing. She genuinely cares about animals and their well-being, and it shows in everything she does. I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, patient, and dependable pet sitter.

She was great! My cats seemed excited to see her come. She was very sweet and great at communicating and made the drop ins seamless. I think my cats would love to see her again in the future!
