About: My family has always been an animal house; I have 3 dogs, a cat and a bird! I also have been housesitting and petsitting dogs and cats for my neighbors since I was 12-13. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter (Main Line Animal Rescue) by going through dog walk orientation and worked with all sorts of dogs. I am excited to help others out and watch over their pets using my experience! I’m home for the summer from college, so I have plenty of free time! I am available for dog walking, housesitting, or overnight sitting during days of the week and also weekends. I make sure to always pay attention to each pet and see what they need according to what the owner needs (food, water, bathroom time, playtime, walks) and make sure to keep an eye on them, as well as adjusting to what they prefer - whether it be a lot of pets or just some company! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! When a pet stays with me, they become a temporary member of my family. My focus is on providing a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment that minimizes the stress of being away from home. A "Home Away from Home": I provide a structured but loving environment, mirroring a typical household. My home is completely pet-proofed, with a secure backyard for safe play and potty breaks. Consistency is Key: I work with the owner to maintain the pet's regular schedule for feeding, medication, and sleep. I have a dedicated space for each dog's belongings (food, toys, bed) to help them feel at ease.
