“Lisa did a wonderful job dropping in to take care of our two pups. We appreciated all the pictures she sent us throughout the visits. Appreciate all the care she gave and look forward to using her again.”
“Rachel, once again, provided Chino a wonderful time. Rachel is always so communicative and treats Chino very well. She goes above and beyond by cleaning Chino's water and food bowls and mat and sending pix along the way. We can't be more pleased we found Rachel through Rover.”

“We love Chelsea! She always sends adorable photos and is so detailed on how her visit went. It is so nice to not worry about your fur baby when you are away from home. Chelsea is the best!”

“Dear Makayla, thank you so much for taking wonderful care of Christy while we were away. I appreciate your dedication and compassion. I wish you and your family a wonderful new year.”

“Jordan is great to work with. She is reliable, knowledgeable about doggies and cares about my Luna. She is great communicating with me as she responds quick and keep me updated with her notes and pictures. I’ll continue to schedule Jordan to take care of Luna on a weekly basis.”

“Adina is amazing with our furry family and we love when she takes care of our cats. She helped our little old man Andy (15 year old cat) take medicine and he even gained a little weight (much needed!) under her loving care.”

“Denise is amazing! I have two giant and one medium size dogs, and one that needs to be kept separate, and she managed it with perfection! I would highly recommended Denise and will absolutely request her services again in the future! Thank you again!!”

“Erin was great! Our kitty Rhea took to her right away and was excited to see her when she came to take care of her! Couldn't wait for all the attention she gave her! Will definitely use her again!”

“Lila was wonderful, thoughtful and gentle with Sparky. We came home and he was happy and we felt that he was well taken care of. The daily check ins were fun and we felt comfortable and relaxed that he was with a kind and compassionate person. Thank you again for all you did.”

“Steve is fantastic. He is very responsive, reliable, and goes out of his way to be helpful. His obvious love of dogs shines through, and our puppy clearly felt it, too. We have a fear-reactive young pup who up until now has not allowed anyone but family to pet her (including two dog trainers), so I was delighted (and relieved) that she felt comfortable enough with Steve to play with him and even allow him to pet her belly within the first visit. I can’t recommend him highly enough!”

“Ava, is absolutely wonderful! She is so thoughtful, an amazing communicator, and most importantly, took such good care of our cat when we were away. She really made sure she got to know her, played with her, and kept her enraged. I highly recommend Ava!!”

About: I have pet sit dogs of all sizes over the past 12 years. I am happy to walk your dog or play a game of fetch. I'm also happy to check in on them and spend some time giving belly rubs and cuddles when you can't. I work a flexible part time job. I have time weekdays mornings, afternoons, and evenings to drop in for a walk or give some love to your pet. I will come to your house for walks and play sessions. I can crate your dog when I leave if needed. I can be flexible if you have a special request.
“Kailyn is amazing!! We left our kitties in her care for 9 days, and she took the best care of them! She was very professional and communicated extremely well! There was a snow storm when we were away, and she was great at keeping us updated on road closures and travel difficulties! I would recommend her to anyone who needs their cats or dogs taken care of! We plan on using her services in the future! Our kitties will miss seeing her daily!”

“Vu did exactly what I asked and provided thoughtful updates with photos included. He went above and beyond for my cats and left me feeling very comfortable that they received the best care while I was gone. Thank you Vu!”

“Casey is great with our kitties, and we really appreciate the good care she provides them when we’re away! She follows all instructions and takes lots of great pics that are a joy to see every day when we’re on vacation and missing them. We definitely recommend her for other cat parents!”

About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). I am passionate about animal care and would love to take care of your pets, whether it be for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am happy to chat :) I am currently located around the 19464/19343 area. Note: I am able to do check-in visits for cats and hang out for a bit, but cannot house sit because I am allergic. As a recent grad on the job market, I have a ton of free time to take care of your pets! Whether it be morning, midday, or evening walks or check-ins, I’m your gal! In your home, whether it be for a walk, check-in, or housesitting, I am happy to follow any rules that you have in mind! Since I am used to walking a reactive dog, I am extremely observant on walks for anything that might trigger a reaction.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Glenmoore
Katelyn took great care of my two cats, Bogey and Beans! She was kind, reliable, and communicative throughout my trip. She completed her visit even after I let her know I’d be home a bit earlier than expected, which I really appreciated. She also sent lots of cute pictures and updates. I felt completely confident leaving my cats in her care and would happily recommend her to others.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
