“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

About: I have owned both dogs and cats throughout my life and currently have a 5 year old pup named Kona. She is southern girl rescued from the streets of Alabama. I teach but I am taking a sabbatical this year and am looking to fill some of my extra time with furry friends. I also grew up in households that had both cats and dogs and have watched my friends pets while they were on vacation or just needed someone to drop in and give them some love. In my free time, I have volunteered with a local dog rescue and helped to facilitate their dog adoption days. I am available most days through out the week for pet care from 8am to 3pm. If services are needed outside of these times, then send me a message and I will see if I can accommodate your needs. I will make sure that your pet is always secured on a leash while on walks and use training treats to help work on troublesome on-leash behaviors. If you have another furry friend that needs cate, then I will be able to feed them, sift the litter box, provide attention, or whatever else your pet may need.

About: Since my children were young we have always had a dog in the home. Prior to their births we owned a cat but our youngest was allergic. Now as a retired teacher I spend my days with my dogs and helping when needed to watch grandkids, grand dogs and grand kittens. I am looking to help out with your pet as I know how important they are to your family and home. I try to do 1 day a week at my husband's office to help with filing but am available most week days during the day. Feel free to ask and I can let you know if I am available. Having my own pets, I know it's important to keep the structure and habits you have created with them. Let me help by continuing how you wish your pets to be treated
