“Wonderful experience ! Denise responded within minutes to my last minute request for pet care. She came by the day after we chatted online for a meet and greet. She was going to try and make a same day meet and greet ! The meet and greet left me relieved ! I knew we found that someone who we can trust to care for our cat, Arya. Denise communicated in great detail with us at every visit which made our get away more enjoyable. We knew that Arya ate and went potty as normal etc .. Our cat is shy and hides when people visit. She doesn’t come out until they leave. It became apparent that shy Arya was comfortable with Denise. We got lots of pictures of her playing with multiple favorite toys and looking happy ! It was clear from the photos that Denise took the time to connect with Arya. Each picture made us more relaxed and sooo happy ! Last minute we decided to stay another day but we had to check with Denise and her schedule etc.. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her .. she added another day of visits so that we could stay the extra day. I later found out that it was her birthday weekend too ! One last note … Denise checked in with us to make sure that we made it home safely from our trip, no doubt certain that Arya wasn’t left without care and that we were safe. I will never use another care giver for our cat in the future and I will refer her to as many people as I can.”

“Rachael is fabulous. At the Meet and Greet that my cats immediately warmed to her. She listened carefully to their feeding routine and care needs (somewhat complex-as our very food motivated male cat will try to intimidate our smaller female cat if not separated for meals).I felt completely comfortable traveling out of state, knowing that our fur babies were in Rachael's care. We also entrusted her with feeding and caring for our daughter's gecko, which Rachael was not at all squeamish about. While we were away, Rachael sent me lots of check in pictures (she's quite the photographer, actually), and provided detailed descriptions of her visits. (Note: So sorry but we are cautious about hosting aggressive breeds because of past experiences.) I am home quite a bit so your pup will get plenty of attention and exercise. I may be out for a two+ hour stretch here so bringing a crate is highly recommended. We have a fenced in yard with lots of space to roam. We also have hiking trails nearby for walks, if preferred. About: Active duty Army Soldier. I understand last minute things. Patience with pets, they are part of the family. Every dog is different. I can train any dog any size. I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. Full time soldier. I am able to take pets out 3-4 times a day during the weekend. I work Monday-Friday I’m off on the weekends. On weekends we go on a ride to the dog parks in the truck. Big dogs in the bed in a seat belt harness small dogs inside the cabin. Pets are kept in crate/room when I’m not home. Willing to accommodate to whatever is needed. Take dogs on walks check for ticks after walks and play time outside.
About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. There were always multiple cats and dogs in my home growing up. My husband, three children (15,13,11) and myself love pets and have take care of family and friends' pets quite often, including bunnies and chickens! We had a large labradoodle with special needs in the past and currently have another large labradoodle. I am comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes and with giving meds as needed. My kids are always up for a snuggle also! I am a homeschool, stay at home mom of 3. Now that my children are older and more independent my schedule is rather flexible. We are active and walk often and can do school anywhere! Sometimes it would be just me but at times my children (15,13,11) would accompany me as well. We have a fenced in dog run which is very secure. If I am coming to your home I will follow any and all guidelines you have to make sure your pet is safe and happy and loved while you are away.
About: I have always loved dogs and started caring for my friends and family’s when I was 12! Since then, I’ve found myself watching multiple dogs, staying the week at the pet owner’s home, and routine check ins for walks, feeding, and to let out. I have experienced strong and responsive dogs, so I feel confident caring for any type of dog! My part-time job does not start until June 22, so until then I have a wide open schedule! “This weekend was our first experience with Rover, and Rachel was the best person to show us the way. She and our dog, Chino, hit it off right away at the Meet and Greet that Rachel suggested. During our trip, Rachel let us know about each interaction she had during her drop-in and walk sessions. We could see when she arrived, how long they walked and the route the took. But in addition, Rachel let us know how Chino wasdoing each time, (excited, cooperative, easy on the leash, hesitant, playfully, etc.) Rachel shared lots of pix as well. About: My family and I love animals and have toe dogs and two cats of our own. I’ve taken care of animals since I was 12. I’ve watched friends and neighbors pets at their homes and kept them at ours. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can walk during the day and before and after work as well. I am able to housesit too because I can work from anywhere. I have two friendly dogs and we have an underground electric fence. We can take them out on leashes or if comfortable with the electric fence we use that as well.

Caring for animals and taking good care of my dog is truly one of my lifelong priorities, and I'm excited to work together and support your animal however they need! I currently work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I am available for afternoon, late afternoon, and evening visits for pet care! I am also free all day on weekends. I am comfortable with home visits and safely walking dogs around neighborhood routes and trails. I've also worked in childcare for a number of years and have nannied for families with pets in the past so I'm very comfortable with home visits, feeding, playtime, and light housework if needed!
About: I am able to give medication and medical shots to pets, I have experience with this as my one dog has diabetes and requires two shots a day. My other dog is a reactive dog as well so I have some experience in trying to handle a reactive dog. I also have had multiple puppies and senior dogs that have exposed me to the different type of care and attention they need, especially when the owners are away. I have experience with dog sitting since I watched my neighbors dogs for years now and have previously worked with one of their dogs that had special needs. I am in the summer before I leave for college so I am home and able to watch the pets at pretty much anytime needed. I am busy with softball tournaments some weekends, but the weekends I do not have that I am around in the area mainly at anytime. I am able to crate a dog, take a walk friendly dog out on walks, feed them, administered medication if required, and play with the dog.
