“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

When we arrived, parker was immediately snatched up by her by one of her two younger sons who promptly began playing with him, pampering him and loving him. Dolly said her sons even “argued” over whose bed he would sleep in. Parker came back a happy camper and made three great buddies along the way. Additionally, Dolly kept constant contact with me and sent pictures over the course of the two days. About: I've had cats all my life and I've taken care of dozens of different cats! I've adopted pets from shelters, friends who found kittens, and right off the side of the road! I currently have one cat and one dog but I have had senior pets and pets that needed medication. I currently have two small dogs of my own, a Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese, and they are both very friendly and comfortable around other dogs. We keep our home clean, quiet, and comfortable for our dogs and visiting pups. The house is regularly cleaned and disinfected, and we do an extra cleaning before every new stay. Potty pads are changed frequently, and we use air purifiers indoors to help keep the space fresh and odor-free. Our own dogs also receive regular flea and tick prevention. About: Lifelong dog owner and previous pet-sitting business owner; will care for your dog; young, old, big, small. Your dog will be lovingly cared for! (Note: So sorry but we are cautious about hosting aggressive breeds because of past experiences.) I am home quite a bit so your pup will get plenty of attention and exercise. About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. MY schedule is open and flexible to accommodate pets. I currently have a 2 year old son who enjoys animals. I am mindful of safety practice for children and pets to keep both safe. I do not have a fenced in yard and will use a leash to leave the house at all times. Depending on your pet's behavior I can crate them and keep them separated in another part of the house.
