“Josh has been amazing with our pups! We had an emergency and needed someone asap. Josh responded and accepted our request within minutes, for a next morning request. He took the time to learn each dog’s needs and is always very communicative during the visits. Our dogs are HUGEEEE, so it’s not easy to just trust anyone with them. I’d definitely recommend Josh to anyone and everyone. He’s our go to sitter!”

About: I have experience with a variety of dogs, cats, and other animals. I love animals very much!! I don’t currently have any animals, so it would bring me joy to spend time with your beloved pet. I am a highly (emotionally) sensitive individual, and I pride myself on reading animals’ body language and cues. I am extremely patient (I am a teacher) and it’s extremely fulfilling for me to build relationships with animals. I would describe my personality as careful, deliberate, kind. During the summer, I’m very flexible! I volunteer a couple hours per week, but the rest of my schedule is flexible. Once the school year starts again, I’m usually available in the afternoons, or on weekends. In a client’s home, I am respectful of their space. I can follow any instructions given, and I am quite detail- oriented and cautious. I’m a double-checker by nature!

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life! I grew up with a senior dog and cats in their late teens, and then got puppies and kittens that I’ve taken care of for over a decade. I’ve watched pets for friends and family, and while I’m new to professional pet care, I’ll treat yours with the same care I’d treat mine. I can fit pet care into virtually any time of most days. I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’m not very busy! I’m very gentle with my pets, and I like to treat them like a friend rather than another type of entity. I respect their boundaries and comfort, and like to see what would be best for them in any given moment. I’m always respectful of other people’s homes, always respect house rules, and am super careful of others’ property.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. They're such a big part of me and I absolutely love meeting them. I'll follow any specifacation you may have for your dog. I love taking walks and playing with them. I will also feed additional pets that you may have or clean yards if needed. I am currently in college in the afternoon for an few hours on monday through thursday. I can stay at the owner's house if needed. However, I can also do visits to feed and let out if that is more comfortable for the owner. I often like to go on walk with dogs I am taking care of, they are always on the leash on these walks. I also enjoy going out in the yard to play with them. I am not opposed to crates.

About: I always been around dogs and animals my whole life and since I was really young I’ve owned a dog and have been taught how to take care of them. I’ve taken care of dogs of friends and family including dogs as young as a new puppy and as old as 13 years old. I would take close attention if there were any special details aswell. I am currently in college studying business and marketing. I am usually available most days a week and will always put animals before myself. I am trying to get more of a solid job soon, so availability may change soon. I always make sure that there is nothing of danger laying around in my house and in close reach of the dogs. And I would take the same care for another persons house as I would with my own, including keeping it clean and safe.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I was 12 years own and at the age of 20, 2 years ago I bought my own first dog. I’ve spent the first few months of her life training her and she’s the sweetest golden retriever I’ve ever had I’m currently working full time but have weekends and nights free. Pretty soon will be laid off and will have all of the time in the day to play and care for your pets! I have a fenced in yard for your pets and can easily crate pets if necessary. There is always love and room for more pets!

About: My name is Ashleigh! I’ve always had a love for animals of all different sizes and breeds and species. Dogs are my favorite. They genuinely make me feel better and I love seeing them happy and enjoy seeing them have fun. I’ve had experience with dogs since birth, honestly. My dad had a chow mix named Bear and I loved him so much. My family has always had a dog. I moved to Connecticut in 2011 and I moved in with my uncle who owned a German shepherd and I quickly fell in love with her. I took her for walks, fed her, took her to parks, etc. She quickly fell in love with all of the attention I gave her. My uncle now has 2 German shepherds that I go over and bathe and help take care of when he goes out. I have experience giving out medications to dogs as well. As my uncles first German shepherd needs medications for her hips daily. I would love to get to know your pup more! And help in any way I can! Thanks for reading 💜 I currently work full-time Monday-Friday. I’m available to care for your pet after work on the weekdays or fridays after 1 and Saturday and Sunday or on any major holiday! I have a fenced yard but it doesn’t enclose the whole yard. I live in a quiet neighborhood that is wonderful for walks. And my puppy would love to play with yours!

About: I currently volunteer at an animal shelter and love working with dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and demeanors! I also have some basic training experience through my dog trainer, who also specializes in service work and behavioral training. My personal dog, Toffee (basset hound!), lived to be 16, and my favorite time with her was the patient walks and TLC needed as she got older--happy to support your senior animals too:) A couple other tidbits: I have experience working with farm animals (chickens, ducks, goats, and alpacas!) and majored in Environmental Science in college. Looking forward to meeting your furry ones! I currently work part-time remotely, so my schedule has lots of flexibility. I will balance my time with pet care through Rover and at the animal shelter, so I am happy to work with you to find good times (evenings and weekends included, depending on when). I prefer to meet or provide care at your home, but I also live in a very walkable neighborhood and have a dog park nearby. I currently live in an apartment, but have access to a fenced-in yard and a sprinkler for the hotter days. While I do not currently have a crate in my personal vehicle, I am happy to get one if you are more comfortable. I also have close friends with dogs and cats if play dates are helpful too!

“Christine is phenomenal. I cannot possibly praise her highly enough. She was amazingly flexible about the initial meet-and-greet and a subsequent drop-by to pick up the key I hadn't had for her during the initial meeting. This is the second week (5 days/week) of her taking wonderful care of my 2 senior dogs that require special handling (medication administration, diapering, slow-paced walking). She reliably arrives within the agreed-upon window of time, is quick to reply to messages, always sends photos and a report of how the dogs did, leaves everything neat at my apartment, and is just an all-around great caregiver for my dogs. She exceeds all expectations. I am ecstatic that I found her and that she continues to care for my beloved animals.”

About: I've owned dogs all my life and have dog sat in some capacity for family and friends for the last 10 years. I love dogs and treat each like my own. I'm reliable, flexible, and ready to work on short notice during summer. I'm willing to stay and house sit if my schedule permits. I love going for walks and hikes with pups and am not afraid to roll around on the floor for some playtime. I understand how important your pets are and will treat them as you would! I am willing to administer medicine if necessary and am flexible to other needs of your pet. Look forward to meeting you furry baby(ies)! I am a full time teacher. During the week I can let animals out early mornings and then am usually out of work by 3. My weekends are usually free. I will abide by house rules for your pet at home. If you use gates or electric collars please let me know. Happy to bring them on walks if needed.

About: Growing up dogs have been a huge part of my lifestyle and household. Having owned 8 furry friends in my lifetime, and 1 being a cat, it’s hard not to pick up on their language 😂. Especially with the energetic Pomeranians my mom’s side loved. Aside from this experience, family, friends, and neighbors have regularly relied on me to take care of their pets while they’ve been away. Approaching every dog I see in public has become a mission of mine and it makes my day interacting with high energy animals! Trust when I say the pleasure is mine! I currently work part time, Sunday-Wednesday. On Sundays I’m out of work at noon, and on the weekdays I work I’m out by 2pm. Thursday-Saturday my schedule is most flexible. I do like to stay busy so I prefer advance notice, earlier the better. Last second bookings are possible, just less guaranteed. I have a few packs of treats that I keep for dogs. The brands I’ve purchased include Old Mother Hubbard, WholeHearted, Zuke’s, Good Lovin’, etc. I usually mix it up because some dogs are surprisingly picky. Let me know of any medical problems or dietary needs. I’ve dealt with many unique medical concerns. Some examples include pets requiring doses of medicine each day, restrictions on physical activity, and ones with anxiety. Let me know any accommodations or special needs, I will follow! I also have a couple toys just in case.

“Sandy was wonderful with the drop in visiit for Gia. Despite the bad weather she got her outside and hung out while she played with my other 2 dogs! I will definitely use her again!”

I have a small dog of my own so I know I can give your pets lots the love and attention too whether they have fur, scales, or feathers! I work from home so all pets get a lot of attention during the day. I love to spend my time after work going on walks and would love a buddy(s) to come with me! I am available from dog walking or in home visits after 5:15pm during the week and anytime on weekends. I think the best way to care for a pet is do exactly what they're comfortable with. I intend to have very open communication with pet parents to understand the likes, dislikes and behaviors of their fur-babies to make sure that they feel safe and comfortable. I do have a dog of my own so I also want to make sure all your pets get along with my Jax, who loves other animals.

About: I'm a lifelong dog owner that frequently pet sits for friends and family. “Christopher is one of the most caring and attentive pet owners I’ve ever met. He constantly thinks about his dog and cats and how to best care for them and make them the happiest they can be. I love my pets deeply and wouldn’t trust many people to watch them, but always feel safe when he’s with them.”

“Grace has a natural connection with animals that's clear whenever you see them interact. They treat every animal as if he/she was their own, and in the time I have known Grace they have always remembered feeding schedules, bathroom times, and play time with the animal they are taking care of. They also pay attention to specific traits of the animal, such as their favorite treats, favorite toys, things they like to do and don't like to do. I would trust Grace to take care of my pet for any amount of time.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Meghan! She is truly a gem when it comes to dog sitting. With over 20 years of experience, it’s clear that she has a genuine love for dogs and knows how to care for them. Meghan was flexible when our arrival time changed and was able to accommodate us. We have two large Labradoodles that need constant reassurance and love (big babies), and Meghan sent pictures of them cuddling up with her. They actually looked like they were having the time of their lives with Meghan while we were away! I appreciate how trustworthy and dependable she is—it's such a relief to know I can count on her completely while we are away. Her background as an educator shines through in the way she interacts with my dogs. She’s naturally nurturing and knows how to create a loving environment for them right away. It’s clear she brings her teaching skills to the dog care world, making everyone feel safe and loved! If you’re looking for a dog sitter who is caring, reliable, and super experienced, Meghan is your go-to person! I’m so grateful for the wonderful care she provides my dogs and home. It feels like she is part of our family. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks, Meghan, for everything you do for our dogs!! 🐶❤️”
