“Rosalina was awesome. I had someone cancel on me and she was able to accept the job very last minute. She sent so many pictures each day. I would definitely recommend and use her services again.”

“there’s no possible words to describe how great jenn is. i recently had to fly out of the country due to unseen circumstances and jenn was so helpful, she made pickup and drop off, checked in constantly to check on me and to ease my mind about bubba & gave him plenty of walks, treats and love. she really does treat your dog like her own and my dog never leaves her house without a big smile on his face ! can’t recommend her enough”

About: I have taken care of dogs that were mine or family friends at all age ranges. I am familiar with giving dogs medicine and practicing commands. I work full time but am a teacher off during the summer. My husband also works 1 mile from our home to be able to be home after a school day. I love dogs and have one of my own. I will walk your dog, brush, give medication, and play with your dog throughout the day. My soul job will be to ease your dogs anxiety while you are away.
“Dayana and her family are wonderful sitter’s! They treat Bella like family and have given her the nickname “Queen Bella”’. Communication is great - I receive morning and evening updates with pictures and videos. I recommend Dayana/Sonia 100% and will be using them as my dog sitters going forward.”

“Kelly is AWESOME! She's a joy to work with and her communication is exemplary (including pictures). Additionally, my dogs (about 200 lbs for the both of them) loved their visit, getting a ton of activity and attention. Already looking forward to the next visit!”

“This was the 1st time we have boarded our pet, Cricket, the spoiled dog. Ms Rebeca took great care of our Cricket. We fully appriciated the effort she made sure we recieved photos and daily updates on how Cricket was doing. We are quite happy to have found a great home away from home for Cricket during our family vacation. Thank you so very much. The Shanks family”

“Ana was great with my Gimli! I booked her because of her high ratings and good reviews, and let me tell you, she lives up to her 5-star reviews! She sent daily pictures and videos of my sweetheart, and I never once worried about him. Its clear Ana loves the dogs she cares for, and goes above and beyond to ensure theyre comfortable and thriving. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future because I know my little guy will be in the best hands ever!”

“Jessica did a great job. She sent lots of pictures and even dressed him up for the holiday. Bogey didn’t want to leave at first cause he had so much fun. Bogey fell asleep as soon as he got home from all the fun he had.”

“Very helpful and communicated well to help accommodate our needs. Our dogs got along well in her home and her updates and pictures were reassuring and put me at ease when we went out of town. our dogs are big babies when it comes to going outside in the rain and the whole weekend was a wet mess so I was so grateful Heather was able to get them out and keep them company this weekend.”

“Anthony took absolutely wonderful care of my Labrador, Channel, during a long 40-day stay at his home. The entire experience was amazing! Channel felt so loved, welcomed, and right at home from the start. Leaving a pet for such an extended period can be stressful, but Anthony completely put our minds at ease. He was incredibly attentive, kept in touch regularly, and sent plenty of photos so we could see how happy she was. He truly treated her like his own. I highly recommend his services and will absolutely be booking with him again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dumfries
Jessica was amazing with my senior English Bulldog. I went away for a holiday for my best friend’s wedding. I was a little nervous about leaving Desi, as he can be reactive so we scheduled a meet up beforehand. This gave me some peace of mind when Desi made himself right at home. Jessica was great about sending updates throughout my trip and was able to easily manage Desi’s supplements and high maintenance behavior.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
