About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the lifelong experience and genuine love I have for animals. I grew up in a home full of dogs and have always been surrounded by pets, learning early on how to care for them with patience and attention. Today, I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I treat every pet like my own, with kindness, consistency, and a lot of love. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or just some extra playtime, I ensure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very open and flexible schedule, which means I’m available throughout the day to give your pets the attention and care they need. Whether it’s a morning walk, midday playtime, or an afternoon check-in, I’m able to provide consistent, dependable care. My background in teaching also means I’m organized, responsible, and great at following routines—qualities that translate well into attentive, loving pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, give walks or playtime, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention. I’m respectful of your home and any instructions you leave, whether it’s about medications, crate time, or favorite toys. If I were to offer care in my home, pets would have a calm, pet-friendly space and lots of companionship throughout the day. No matter the setting, I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while you're away.

About: I grew up with a Westie since I was 7 years old. I am a foster caretaker and trained to foster dogs by GRRoW (the golden retriever rescue organization of Wisconsin). I also have two roommates who grew up with dogs and are 3 years into veterinarian school at UW-Madison. Pet caretaking fits into my routine best every weekday for an after-work walk (5pm CST or later). I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I have more free time those days of the week to watch an interact with your pet during the day. I have an apartment with a large open, yard good for playtime. My neighborhood and apartment complex is extremely dog friendly. There are plenty of non-busy street sidewalks and parks within walking distance for the dog to enjoy and run around in.

About: My role as an animal caretaker began at the age of 10 and has only increased in species types since. In addition to caring for my own animals (dogs, cats, cattle, horses, chickens, etc.), I have worked professionally in the veterinary field for the past 6 years. This Fall, I will be going into my second year of veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin, and I currently work down in the small animal hospital's O.R. on the surgery team 💉. I am equipped to care for pets of all sizes and medical needs and am so honored to be considered as a care companion for your furry friends! 😊 As a future dogtor in training, pet care is part of my everyday routine. In addition to caring for my own animals, I am always searching for new care opportunities to diversify my skills, whether that is in a professional clinic, sanctuary, or volunteer setting. I am an organized individual who enjoys living by plan and routine and in my experience, many of our furry companions do as well. I prefer getting to meet with pets before my care window begins to get a physical run down of their routine and establish a familiar relationship with them. My attention to detail allows me to easily follow written and verbal instructions and be equipped to troubleshoot if needed.

“Karly is very responsible and was so helpful in taking Apollo for his midday walk. She sent lots of pictures, was super quick to respond, and I felt like Apollo could not have been in better hands.”

“Jenny is wonderful! My puppy warmed up to her right away. She asked a lot of questions about him and came prepared with treats, poop bags, and water. She took him on a walk nearby and when they returned home he was all tired out. Thank you!”

“It was reassuring knowing Ellie and Riley got to go on walks while I was at work . Ashley was so great during our meet and great and really interacted nicely with the dogs! I will definitely be scheduling time with Ashley again, and consider her for overnights for short trips!!”

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats since before I can remember, and I can never say no to a stray animal in need. All of my pets have been rescues, and I love that I’ve been able to spoil each of them with a loving home and plenty of toys. I can’t resist petting any animal I cross, and I have a special place in my heart for pets with quirks or attitudes. Needless to say, I have always been the go-to for my friends, neighbors, and family to watch and care for their pets as they know I would love them just like my own! I am a medical student that has a flexible schedule to walk, check-on, and care for neighborhood pets. I can typically work around my school work to help out when needed! I have a cat, so I am comfortable inviting a cat into my home and providing necessary services with my own supplies. If your pet is more comfortable in their own space, I am more than willing to do drop in visits! Owner suggestions and directions for specific pet needs are always welcome and encouraged.

“Hillary did an amazing job walking my shy pup and quickly won her over! In addition to being amazing with my dog, Hillary did and excellent job communicating with me about how my dog did on their walks, tactics she used to help build up my dog's confidence, and Hillary even helped clean up a potted plant that my dog had knocked over one day. I would highly recommend Hillary to anyone looking for care for their pets!”

About: I am a recent college graduate looking to do some pet care. I’ve raised and taken care of dogs my whole life, and frequently watch my neighbors’ pets while they are away. My schedule is currently wide open, and I can be flexible to meet your dog’s needs! This may change over time, so check in week to week. I will thoroughly follow directions and make sure that your dog is receiving the care and attention that they need. I think open communication is super important!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and found my passion for animal medicine and care. I am a second year veterinary student a UW Madison and am excited to continue my journey to become a veterinarian. I am comfortable with puppies, adults, and seniors of any and all temperaments. I love to exercise and be outside but am also happy to relax on the couch and watch TV. I am very busy as a student! I typically have school from 8am-2pm with a 2 hour break from 11-1:30. With that break I am happy to take your pup on a walk, check in or play! Over the summer, I will likely be working part time at a local vet clinic, but am otherwise free to spend the whole day with your pet. I’m happy to relax on the couch or play! Your dog(s) will always be on a leash outside of the home, and will be taken out regularly for potty breaks and exercise. At home, I do have a cat who doesn’t mind dogs who don’t bother him, but if they are too excited (which many are!) he will hiss and run away. So, if your dog is good with cats I can board them, however, I would prefer to house sit!
