About: We’ve had pets all our lives. Currently, we have two cats. Ray wfh, so there is usually always someone home. We’ve watched bunnies, cats, and dogs for friends/family including giving medication. We have had no aggression from our pets with the pets we’ve watched. We also have a second room(atm being used as an office/guest room), so if you want your pet separate from ours pets, that is something we can accommodate. For dogs during boarding, our household prefers dogs that tend to ignore our cats. Also, we have a preference for senior dogs since they tend to be low energy and do not require long walks(over 15 min) to use the restroom. For cats, we have experience with all kinds of energy and ages. If you have a cat with a lot of energy, our Taro girl has shown that she loves playing all the energetic kitties and helps them come out of their shell. However, both our cats can adapt to senior kitties as they both love to lounge. One of us wfh and the other wfh once a week, so we can have someone always home. We are both able to adjust our schedules when we are taking care of other people’s pets such as walks. For friends/family whose pets we’ve watched: we ask for a clear schedule such as when to walk and feed and follow it. We’ve also recently watched a senior dog who needed to be walked more often and given medication. For all pets, we’ve given them some space, especially from our pets and seen if they can interact or not depending on what their owners want. We also try to incorporate playtime if they want that.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs since childhood, have a huge backyard for dog sitting, and love taking dogs on hikes around the neighbourhood! Your dog will love hanging out with me 🤞 I’m currently on summer break from school so I’m free on all weekdays. In the meantime I’d love to spend time taking care of dogs! When dog sitting, I always make sure that the dogs are well fed and hydrated. I also spend a lot of time engaging with them by playing fetch and tug of war. I pay extra attention to keeping the space clean, tidy and pet friendly. I prefer a meet and greet to ensure a good fit, and am happy to follow any routines, feeding instructions etc. Further, vaccination certificates and tick medication details are a must to ensure a good fit (happy to share all vaccination and tick medication details of my dog) I also provide pool time on weekends in my back patio in case your dogs loves to play in water during the summer - it’s an inflated pool filled with water!! I love spending time with dogs, and care about them with all my heart, and I intend to provide them with a safe and loving home away from home, while their parents are away! I am good at following instructions - happy to provide complimentary extra toppings like cucumbers, broccoli etc to your dog if preferred, or administer any oral medication as instructed. I always either wash or wipe clean the paws after walks. Both me and my husband work from home, and am able to take out ample time for play and walks from my schedule - I provide close attention and supervision to the unique needs of a dog. I am available on all days of the week. I have a fenced patio with ample space and access to a huge park for playtime and walks. I keep my home clean and provide a hygienic space to pets. I can also set up crate/ playpen if you would like (I have crates of 2 different sizes and a huge playpen). My golden retriever is super friendly and can be great company for your fur baby!
