18. Sasha J.
“I’ve known Sasha for almost 20 years. Friends since middle school and I can’t think of a person more suited to become a pet sitter on Rover. She’s always had cats who were her “babies” and any time we were around dogs she always spoiled them to the fullest. She’s very hard working and I know would take care of these pets as if they were her own!”

About: I am a dog owner of 5+ years and love meeting new pets. I have previous dog walking and pet sitting experience, and a few years ago worked part time at an animal shelter as a kennel technician. At the shelter, I learned about dog behavior and care through medication administration, play time, baths, feeding, kennel cleaning, and training videos. I have had repeat clients both on and off Rover. I believe in positive reinforcement with dogs, and love getting to know their different personalities. In total, I have been professionally pet walking, sitting, and dropping in for about 2 years. I currently offer sitting, visits, and walking. I think open communication is great! I am currently working in an office 7AM-3:30PM, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I have an ongoing commitment on Sundays, 12:00-2:00. My schedule is open outside these times. I am not accepting pet boarding requests at this time. I do not have the satisfactory set-up at my home to board other pets, sorry. I’m currently a part-time student and in a career transition, so I have plenty of time to play with your dog or cat. My classes are online so I can do my work remotely. I am able to spend day and night with your pet in your home, depending on your needs and preference. I follow your instructions and treat your pets and home with care. I can provide additional pet services during house stays, as well. I am a remote worker and mainly online student. During petsitting stays at owners' homes, I can generally be at the house around the clock, pending the owners' preference. I have a lot of flexibility in working hours, so for walks and check-ins, I can often work with owners' schedules. Right now I do not offer boarding. But when petsitting at owner's homes, I like to engage with the pets in addition to the instructions left. Every pet has different comfort levels, but if they are friendly, I like to pet them, play, and relax together.
